I've learned that it is a conspiracy theory that VC forum is a good meeting place for conspiracy theorists.

If the corona has highlighted something, it's that our society was already ill/sick, in every sense of the word and the corona has exarcerbated it. Whether it's people having tons of medical conditions, mental health issues, our economy being a mess, etc.
If someone says they want things to go back to where they were before the corona, they're probably an idiot or they cannot be trusted because it wasn't working in the first place.
We are all sinners...corona or not.

It was working for many people..at least in the US..record unemployment!

I agree. This thing has brought out the worst in some people.
The toilet paper hoarders showed their greed and willingness to spark violence over trivial possessions. Further along we saw people coughing on produce, etc.

I do want a strong workforce and communities getting together for the better.
Guess that is something that we remain to see.

I've learned something isn't quite right here.

Here in the UK we are all positively encouraged on a Thursday night at 8pm to stand outside our homes, shoulder to shoulder with our possibly infected neighbours and clap, like a bunch of demented sea lions for our heroic NHS staff. Some streets sing songs, it's like some type of new ritual that has been started by our government.....

.......but if you then decide to all go down to your local supermarket with the very same people you've just had your clapathon with, then all of a sudden these people become potentially highly infectious so we all have to stand 6 foot apart.....this again is a government recommendation.

Has the world gone fucking mental or what?

I've also learned that celebrities don't have to travel to a tv studio to do a shit tv programme, they are quite capable of doing it at home on a tablet in their dining room.
Well, it is a lot less glamorous that way and no one is cheering for you, I would think its quite depressing for them not to glam up and go out.

Taken from this YT video here, I thought this was an insightful comment regarding the virus:

"The majority of the people would rather believe a lie rather than the truth and they would rather have other people do the thinking for them rather than think for themselves rationally! Thinking logically sometimes demands inner reflection in order to expand the mind and many find this difficult to do and they never grow mentally nor spiritually and remain stuck in a box filled without truly knowing what is really going on in this wicked world and they are not free in their minds. Mental emancipation is liberty!"

So after swallowing copious amounts of msn over the last couple of months I've managed to draw the following conclusions.

Residential care homes here in the UK no longer accommodate extremely immobile elderly folk who spend the vast majority of their day sat in a chair under a tartan blanket trying to remember their own name and if they have any children or not.

Due to a transmission rate that could only be surpassed if your were putting Strictnene in everybody's evening cuppa our care homes have seen this virus progress unimpeded which must mean that the residents now are all on hoverboards flying around the gaff whilst high fiving one another.

If not that then it must be down to the asymptomatic care staff who are all going around sneezing systematically onto each resident before blowing their noses directly onto residents handkerchiefs.

I've also found that a potentially highly infected person will become completely non infectious if they are actually clapping something......so if in doubt, clap it out.
