The World Has Gone Mad in 2020
Here’s why, and how we make it stop.

Fri Jun 19, 2020
Katie Hopkins

You’ve probably asked this yourself over the last few weeks or days: where is this all heading and how will it end up?
It's a question being asked on both sides of the Atlantic, whether you are watching the people’s republic of CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone) in Seattle or Black Lives Matter protestors ripping statues from their foundations in Bristol, UK. It makes you wonder: how do we make it stop?
And just when you think we have reached peak madness, something even crazier comes along. As we speak, Algerian and Chechen Muslims are waging street battles with Kalashnikovs on the streets of Dijon in France. Armed warfare in sleepy Dijon is about as surprising as a vegan wedding in Texas.
Because, like many others, you are probably struggling to keep up with it all, I thought I would create a showreel of 2020, a kind of lightning recap of the year to date, with hysteria ratings as a handy guide to how outraged you should be*. I do not apologize if you find this kind of flippancy offensive; it is a human truth that humor is essential in times of crises. And if you don’t think we are in crises you are either ex Special Forces or in a deep vegetative state.

1) The Chinese virus from Wuhan.
Pictures of Chinese people shoving bats into soup and sucking them up with chopsticks and a side order of live rat help explain where the global plague might have come from, but did nothing to stop the World Health Organisation’s eagerness to defend China, deny the existence of Taiwan and talk rubbish about plague.
To the apparent delight of China (and socialists disguised as Democrats), lockdown spread faster than the plague itself, paralysing entire Western economies and straining the pants of the petty corona-Stasi tighter than the wallet in Bernie Sanders’ pocket.
Hysteria rating: 10

2) Lockdown.
In what will be known as The Greatest Hoax in History, successive governments locked down their countries at the behest of mad scientists. Unsure how to defend against an invisible enemy, the only option was to ‘follow The Science’.
Unfortunately, it turns out The Science was not only as reliable as the spelling of my dyslexic ten-year-old, but also more political than most sharp-heeled lobbyists in Washington.
‘The Science’ and ‘Socialised Healthcare’ are not politicly neutral, they are the Intelligence Arm of the Socialists. Just because someone wears a white coat or is labelled an expert does not make their every utterance true. I learned this as a ‘Security Guard’ at DisneyLand Paris. Despite my uniform and a radio, I had zero interest in securing anything other than the ardent attentions of François from Space Mountain.
Hysteria rating: 4,000

3) #GeorgeFloyd death.
Clearly it is a terrible thing that any man or woman should die in police custody, for whatever reason. No one wants their life to end on a bad note, not even me, though I fear in my case that note is already written.
However, the erasing of a man’s history and his elevation to sainthood in the space of 8 minutes 46 seconds is something of a record even in the hysteria of 2020. A criminal record longer than my first marriage, a history of violence against black women and levels of morphine and Fentanyl in his system strong enough to euthanize a horse suggest he may not have been the Black Jesus the socialists were praying for him to be.
I am sorry for him and his family. And sorry, too, that they had to have the dreadful Reverend Al Sharpton screaming politics at them as they tried to grieve, clad in white polyester.
Hysteria rating: 23

4) Black Lives Matter protests.
As if waiting backstage for a moment just like #GeorgeFloyd, the Black Lives Matter movement was well placed across the globe to capitalize on the tragic death of a black man in police custody.
Those countries without a #GeorgeFloyd of their own found other deaths to lend relevancy and credibility to their riots. In the UK we were given #BellyMujinga, a black lady who died of COVID-19. In France it was #AdamaTraoré. Same playbook, different names. All tragedies in themselves, but used to incite violence from a volatile crowd made more so by endless lockdown and unemployment.
Watching tens of thousands of BAME (Black Asian and Minority Ethnic) and white protestors crowd against each other, a human soup of bodily fluids, made me question just how much concern this community has for the coronavirus after all.
They said corona was racist, disproportionately impacting black families. But at the first opportunity to get some free stuff from Macy’s, somehow all that concern over racism went away.
Hysteria rating: 932

5) Taking a knee.
Those wanting to be seen as allies in the fight against whatever it was, figured out the fastest way to become a black ally was to take a knee. Sometimes this was literal, as in the case of soy-boy cops in London. Sometimes it was symbolic, as in hiding London’s Cenotaph (our Memorial to our Fallen) and Churchill’s statue at the behest of the Muslim Mayor of London.
Taking a knee is much more than a physical act. You are prostrating yourself to socialism and once you assume the position, it is game over. Doesn’t matter how low you go or how deep the hole you try to dig yourself into, you will never get low enough for the mob.
Now all statues are fair game and must be destroyed or removed. Then police must be defunded. Now an Autonomous Zone is created. Then there is the next thing that must be destroyed. All of it is negative: defund, undo, remove, destroy.
What Black Lives Matter really wants is revenge for sins of the past. And revenge for history has no end. See the plight of the whites in South Africa for details.
Hysteria rating: 892

6) People who menstruate.
JK Rowling high-kicked herself into the hysterical abyss with this tweet, suggesting that people who menstruate are called women.
Clearly this sort of wild biologically-accurate assertion is no longer acceptable in the mad 20s.
Accordingly, she has been threatened with death, had the cast of Harry Potter stick the boot in to better align themselves with the trans-mafia, and been dropped from everything. Even her publishers are downing tools (which is a bit like digging a hole in the luxury liner you’ve been cruising in).
I am content to be called many things by my critics: horse-face, Trump-lover, wrinkled ball-sack, trans-Ellen. But I REFUSE to be called a person who menstruates. And I hope every single one of those festering kids made famous by JK Rowling and now attacking the hand that fed them - never earns a single penny again.
Hysteria rating: 8

The biggest question that remains is: how do we make it stop?
And the answer is surprisingly simple. To date, 2020 has been in the hands of the socialists, from the Wuhan flu to the lockdown to the contrived Black Lives Matter protests. Their momentum is derived from taking things away through chaos and destruction.
Shut down, stop, defund, destroy, remove, steal, kneel.
To stop all this madness, we do the opposite. We open up, start, invest, rebuild, replace, return – and we stand tall as we do it.
We stand strong, we get furious and we rebuild America. The Great American Comeback is underway. Hysterical Britain will be looking to you for hope.
*Hysteria ratings are as reliable as the math of AOC.

The Fear Factor and the COVID Conundrum: One Canadian’s Perspective

By L.S.
Perhaps there is a reasonable expectation for a duty of care when government takes away the care of duty. So many people have lost their jobs during this coronavirus pandemic “crisis” or had to close or curtail their businesses; and with the government mandated shutdowns that followed, the government is handing out money to try to mitigate the damage that the shutdowns have caused. It stands to a certain type of reason that if government—that elusive entity that purports to lead and guide the people—should not allow people to care for themselves, then it should take that responsibility upon itself.

Albeit, it is a vicious cycle, like a dog biting its tail. The people fund the government, and the government funds the people. But the government arbitrarily allots the funds to whatever or to whomever it chooses and then arbitrarily mandates the people to pay for it. Then when the people start relying on government handouts to survive, and far-overreaching government mandates to guide our actions, can we truly relax and rest easy and trust that the government has got our backs? It may ease the monetary famine but only temporally, and it may relieve us of the responsibility of thinking for ourselves, but Oh! What a high price to pay! The people were just coerced into the socialist system of government and goaded into compliance with the stock prod of “panpanic.” People are being shepherded like sheep into the corral with fines, penalties, warnings, and fear. Many medical professionals are hirelings hired to feed the fear frenzy, and yet when other medical professionals stand up to disagree, they are mostly silenced or they stand only to lose their jobs.

Government spokesmen have been holding an unprecedented number of press conferences, with an almost universal clarion call advertising the fear while providing fear motivated mandates to undergird their message. In general, their expertise is politics not pandemics, but they are much used by the powers that be to promote the panpanic. Does not this situation now make us somewhat of a police state? A communist state perhaps? And does it not hint of a fascist state? I do not pretend to understand politics well, but I know it well enough that it makes me think, “Oh what a state to be in!”

History teaches us that it is just a matter of time before that kind of system implodes and sucks the life out of the people, the wealth out of the country, and our freedoms: our freedom to thrive or fail, our freedom to decide how to protect ourselves, our freedom of association, our freedom of speech or expression, and other freedoms that we have come to associate with a free country. What we have now is a virus kingpin that is not the danger it was made out to be; yes, dangerous and even deadly but not the way “they” portrayed it with overblown models already proven false. But the fear of the virus has been a catalyst to bring in many other dangerous things. And now countless citizens are also left with an insidious and perilous disease of the mind—fear—the wrong kind of fear, misplaced fear, fear that destroys—not protects.
Many hospitals, made ready for a great influx of coronavirus victims, are reported to be emptier than ever, but the dying that are already in the hospital are dying alone, at times not allowed to have even their closest loved ones as visitors. Much needed surgeries are deferred, and people who need to go to the hospital choose not to go in—for fear. How can we even know all the consequences? Our media does not report it, and at this point, we do not know who to believe. They cried “Wolf!” too often.

Then we are given the hope of a temporal “savior”—a vaccine; and we hope we can just hang in there long enough so the vaccine can save us from the disease should that even be a realistic or remotely successful option. In the meantime, we are dying of other things. Living is dangerous. That is life. Should we put our life on hold for one danger when people are dying all around of old age, accidents, or of any of the multitude of other diseases or circumstances? In the meantime, while our life is on hold, we wonder what is really happening. We are not sure, but we know it has the possibility of being much more dangerous than “the virus.”

Fear kills. Fear paralyzes. The Bible has an example of this in Luke 21:26 when it says “men’s hearts failing them for fear” when they see the things coming upon the Earth. But there is a fear that saves and protects and makes us free. The Bible says in Psalm 34:11, “Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.” And also:
In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge. (Proverbs 14:8)
O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. (Psalm 34:9)
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. (Psalm 40:3)
Need I offer more verses? There are many, many more!
Conversely, the Bible also mentions misplaced fear. “The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe” (Proverbs 29:25).
We are fighting a virtually invisible enemy with very visible consequences, but that reminds me we have an invisible hope as well. The one thing the virus cannot take away is the freedom to believe—our faith. As it says in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” That sounds rock solid to me, and I leave you with this: Fear God, he is our hope. And please read the rest of Hebrews 11 for examples of the faithful who went before us.
Again, this verse, an invitation from God Himself, certifies, “Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD” (Psalm 34:11).

Agree with your musings on the propaganda meant to divide/concur and control.
Tired of living amongst the madness.
This insanity is tearing everyone apart!
Lets get back to old normal.
I mean, even THAT was disappointing in its own way with its limitations.
But nothing like living in a socialistcommunistictotalitarianregime!
Brave New World, here we come!
Maybe people are thinking that the old normal wasn’t really all that bad now?

I dream of that, now.
Salivating just at the thought, lol.

Their power is derived from the FEAR, literally.
Don't play into it (although, I assume you know this already).
Ya..the fear thing that got everyone...no one wants to die and that was a powerful motivator..especially when China was locking down their citizens and they way they handled everything started the fear pulsing. Though I don’t know that I really believe that what China did was about a virus..I kinda think it was more insidious than that...we don’t know what they really do to their people anyway. Or maybe it was just to make the world take notice and start the pandemic fear? Who knows at this point?

Yep...can’t play into the fear porn they are providing..but unfortunately many people are..

I always thought it was done to win the presidential election anyway...Biden can’t win as a candidate on his own so they ruin lives to take out trump who is popular despite his flaws and despite the dems hitting him with everything they had for 4 years. Its really opened my eyes to their desperateness. There is a video in the link that Maher is talking about how he hope for a crashing economy to get rid of trump...its disgusting.

Maher: I'm "Hoping" For "A Crashing Economy" So We Can Get Rid Of Trump, "Bring On The Recession"

I don't believe 'the world has gone mad'.
In fact everything we see are the fruits of globalization and multiculturalism: chaos.
All that was purposely prepared in order to create a clash of civilisations.
Here they expect a civil war:

I think it's interesting to see how that article ends with :
“Unfortunately,” he says, “things are not as bad as they can be.”

Maybe not everything is going as planned for TPTB and we still have time to not fall to this race war.

Either way I can't help but to think about that verse from the book of Revelation chapter 6 where it talks about a red horse who's coming to take peace from the earth and make people kill each other. In my opinion late 2020 will be memorable and i'm not saying that in a positive way.

So, you think by late 2020..after the election people will be killing each other? Just in the US or all over the world? And its a lot of people who die..will a US election cause a fourth of people to be killed? It seems like a lot more than people killing each other are involved.

Revelation‬ ‭6:7-8‬ ‭
When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.” I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

The world has always been mad. In the light of history America is an abnormality, or at least the freedoms and comforts it provides in comparison to other worldly kingdoms and systems that have come and gone before it. It was here, now disappearing, and then will be gone in the blink of an eye. We are just acclimating back to the historical status quo, which is a world steeped in darkness, submission, normalization of evil, volatility, and oppression by monarchy forces.

True..since the fall the world has been mad... C.S. Lewis once wrote that life has never been normal.

Since the article was a shitpost, I'm going respond to it with the amount of respect it deserves - while occasionally trying to be serious.

I've known people that eaten roadkill. They've pulled over, picked up the carcass of some dead animal, threw it into the back of their pickup and made a stew out of it. Waggling fingers at China seems pretty silly and even a little bit racist when poor people from all over the world eat all sorts of fucked up things.

2) Lockdown.

While it's true not everyone in a lab coat knows everything about everything... Well, when your response to a global pandemic is be more concerned about the economy that the number of people that might die from it... Well, I think it might make a little more sense to listen to an epidemiologist than an economist. I mean, unless you go to a stockbroker when you get sick?

Who George Flyod is, or was, shouldn't matter. His criminal record changes nothing about the situation. Could their have been a "better" martyr to prop up as a victim of police brutality? Probably, but the fact that there needs to be a martyr in the first place is problematic.

4) Black Lives Matter protests.

Also, "look at all these people ignoring the lockdown, actually protesting something meaningful! Totally hysterical."

Apparently, you can have your cake and eat it too.

I'm going to ignore the fact that police are supposed to be "public servants" (even if they effectively serve private interests). I'm going to ignore the fact they felt the need to point out that the fact the mayor of London is Muslim. I'm going to point out that what most people who think "defund the police" is supposed to be taken 100% literally.

As an anarchist, I'd be fine with that, mind you... While we're at it, dismantle the state! Of course, when you actually look into that, people aren't calling to actually entirely defund the police. But we live in a world of hashtags and #DefundThePolice is a lot more catchy than #ReallocateFundsOfAnIncreasinglyMilitarizedPolicingSystemToSocialServicesSoThatTheNeedsOfCommunitiesCanBe BetterMetOutsideOfUsingInstitutionalizedViolence.

There's a lot wrong with this.

First, just because you're famous doesn't mean you're above criticism.

Second, just because you like something that someone made, doesn't mean you have to like that person. I'm a fan of the works of H.P. Lovecraft... But the dude was racist as hell even my 1920's standards. I would never defend anything he said, outside his stories, because outside his stories (hell, even in his stories) he seemed like a pretty awful human being. Thankfully, as a fan of H.P. Lovecraft, I don't have to worry about problematic things he said on account of him being dead.

Thirdly, JK Rowling has always had some weird, problematic takes. It comes from her deliberately panning for woke points, despite not being all that woke. And the fact she does is part of the reason people shit on her. If she just embraced the fact that she was an old British boomer, half the shit she says would barely be a controversy. You'd still get meme about the stupid shit she says... But most wouldn't care no where as much... But she's very, very proud of how supposedly progressive she is.

I don't know about her other problematic takes, but in that instance she was just saying that trans women and biological women have different experiences, which isn't controversial imo.
And as for her being an old british boomer...I met women in their 30s who had a completely different perspective than I do and 30 is not that old. With internet (especially social media) everything moves faster and it makes it harder for people to keep up, especially with language. I made a thread about emotional labor and pretty much no one understood what the word meant. So the internet has made the jargon that was reserved to feminist circles available to the average person who has internt connection. And sometimes it's a disaster, since people are talking out of their asses, with a misunderstanding of the words. But in the case of JK Rowling highlighting the distinction btw "sex" and "gender", I don't see anything problematic tbh.

It's more things like her totally swearing that she always intended for Dumbledore to be gay... But in the prequel series, that's intended for the people that grew up with Harry Potter and not kids, absolutely refuses to show Dumbledore to be gay and saying stuff like lycanthropy in her setting is supposed to be an allegory for HIV, which is sort of an uncomfortable statement when the vast majority of werewolves are evil.

She tries so hard to appear progressive but she's really not. And there's nothing wrong with that; artists don't have be progressive. Artists don't even have to be good people, IMO. Yet when you want to get credit for being oh so tolerant, say and do weird things that make you seem that it's just an act and repeat it more than once... Well, the internet is going to give you shit.

So you don’t agree with Katie Hopkins then? Lol!

After all she did say..
Here's the thing. If you use the word soyboy, you're automatically unfunny. :p And I say that as someone who's diet consists of what is likely an unhealthy amount of red meat.

They’ve disappeared along with the killer bees...And a few other things..@justjess.

Where Are They Now? Things That Terrified Us in the '90s
In the 1950s, African and European honey bees escaped from an experimental apiary, or “bee yard,” in Brazil and started making hybrid bee babies in the wild. The resulting Africanized honey bees outcompeted native bees for resources and took over their hives. They spread north and south through South and Central America and, in October 1990, reached the United States.
Their arrival was talked about like a monster movie, with swarms of hyper-aggressive “killer” bees swooping down from the sky to maim and murder us. The reality is that, while the hybrids inherited their African ancestors’ tendency to pursue and attack perceived threats in large numbers, and have killed people and animals, we haven’t seen the bloodbath people feared. In the years the bees have been here, people in the South and Southwest have simply learned to live with them. Most people never meet a killer bee, and entomologists from the Department of Agriculture have developed tools and techniques—like bee-proof clothing and “swarm traps”—to protect those that do come in contact with them. But it's not all good news. Recently there have been reports of sometimes deadly attacks.
