That doesn’t matter. There is a simple test to know whether you are playing video games purely for leisure or if you are getting a dopamine high from them. How long do you usually play at a time? Under normal circumstances, without the cycle of dopamine addiction, playing video games will seem much more tedious than “fun” within about one hour at the very most. Sometimes I can only stand to play games for about 20 or 30 minutes. No matter how “good” the game is, the truth is that staring at a screen while pressing buttons is only fun for a short amount of time unless it accompanies a dopamine rush.
