Do not waste your time with Freeman, he doesn't believe the Bible is absolute, and quotes from the Quran. He thinks that God would allow mistakes in the Bible to confuse people.

Please provide a quote from anything that's been personally posted where such a preposterous claim was ever made, or retract this LIE. God is NOT the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33); Satan (the inventor of lies) is.

There are a few places in the Bible where there are obviously poor translations, intentional translations, inserted phrases and/or deletions. God has allowed these to stand NOT to confuse anyone, but to TEST those whose hearts are hardened to Him, as yours appears to be.

For doubters, a very simple example of this is what is commonly referred to as the "Johannine Comma", where a phrase was added in the 15th century that did not appear in any of the original manuscripts. That phrase had intentional "trinitarian" wording in it.

After the extent of the comma's absence from biblical manuscripts became known, translations made after the eighteenth century omitted the phrase. English translations based on a modern critical text have omitted it since the English Revised Version (1881), including the New International Version (NIV), New American Standard Bible (NASB), English Standard Version (ESV), and New Revised Standard Version(NRSV). In Catholic tradition, the Vatican's Nova Vulgata (1979) omits the comma, as does the New American Bible (1970).

And here is what how the passage was added to by the Roman Catholic church in the 15th century (added phrasing boldfaced for emphasis, to point out what the RCC inserted):-

Someone who cherishes and lives by God's Word will immediately notice such things and devote the time and due diligence into researching them. Those who prefer lies to the truth, won't.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12

I've had countless discussions with him and they all amounted to nothing. You can checkout the thread called the Trinity Delusion.

Those conversations are recorded in eternal time and will be a witness for the truth and a witness against the lies.

You can only teach someone who wants to learn not someone who would do absolutely anything to believe what they believe.

Agreed. And thus far you have proven to be incorrigible, even when you are shown your own obvious errors in detail. And sadly you resort to dishonestly making up stories on a frequent basis, as you've done again here, which isn't helping anyone, least of all you.

And personally anyone who has the guts to remove from scripture and add what he says is "correct" in his own eyes is already on a road to damnation.

And yet that's exactly what the RCC did with the Johannine Comma, TO INSERT THEIR ANTI-BIBLICAL TRINITY WORDING TO DECEIVE OTHERS WITH THE PAGAN TRINITY THEY INVENTED , which you so vehemently defend. So it's YOU who are actually doing what you've accused me of doing.

Someone who points out the truth that the RC added this phrase isn't the one who is on the road to damnation; the ones who defend the deceitful insertion, which didn't appear in the original manuscripts, are.

It's only up to him, he has had enough people speak to him which God has used and he denied them.

It is your own arrogance that blinds you to the truth that it's the other way around.

The three Angels' messages in the book of Revelation.

As this thread has pointed out angels are real! They are powerful ministering spirits that appear all throughout the Bible. They protect and guide God's people, and sometimes punish evil. However one of their most important missions is to reveal and explain prophecy.

Did you know God has said something special through His angels to the stressed-out people of our hectic world? In Revelation 14, He reveals incredible messages for these last days, messages coded in the symbolism of three flying angels. So significant are these messages, Jesus won’t return until they are all fulfilled!

The three angels are described as proclaiming the messages with “a loud voice” (Revelation 14:7, 9). These messages are urgent and important; they must be heard by all because it concerns their eternal destinies. As such, they must be proclaimed to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. This proclamation is particularly significant because, at the time of the end, the beast will exercise authority over “every tribe, tongue, and nation” (Revelation 13:7).

The First Angel’s Message.

Revelation 14:6-7, "Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

The first angel’s message is referred to as the “everlasting gospel.” What is the gospel? It is the good news of salvation by grace, through Christ’s sacrificial life, death and resurrection. This gospel must be preached to every person on earth. The three angels’ messages stress the gospel, which makes it plain that people are saved by faith in—and acceptance of—Jesus Christ alone (Acts 4:10–12; John 14:6). Since no other way to salvation exists, it is evil to claim that there is some other way.

Fear God. This means we should revere God and look upon Him with love, trust, and respect—eager to do His bidding. This keeps us from evil. “By the fear of the Lord one departs from evil” (Proverbs 16:6). Solomon, the wise man, also said, “Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is man’s all” (Ecclesiastes 12:13). Other Bible versions say "man's duty" instead of "man's all."

Give glory to God. We fulfil this command when we praise, thank, and obey God for His goodness to us. One of the major sins of the last days is unthankfulness (2 Timothy 3:1-2).

The hour of His judgment is come. This indicates that everyone is accountable to God, and it is a clear statement that the judgment is now in session. A number of translations say “has” come instead of “is” come.

Worship the Creator. This command rejects idolatry of all kinds—including self-worship—and repudiates the theory of evolution, which denies that God is Creator and Redeemer. (Many books and talk shows stress self-esteem, which can lead to self-worship. Christians find their value in Christ, who makes us sons and daughters of God.)

The gospel includes the creation and redemption of the world by the Lord God. Worshipping the Creator includes worshipping Him on the day He set aside as a memorial of Creation (the Sabbath which is seventh day of the week). That Revelation 14:7 refers to the Sabbath is made clear by the fact that the words “made heaven and earth, the sea” were lifted right out of the Sabbath commandment (Exodus 20:11) and used here. Our roots are found in God alone, who made us in His image in the beginning. Those who do not worship God as Creator—no matter what else they might worship—will never discover their roots.

There is not much information on this subject but the little we do have helps us understand a little bit who the sons of God and daughters of men were.

First, both the sons of God and the daughters of men were complete human beings as there is absolutely no evidence biblically that they were anything other than human.

Secondly, the identity of the "sons of God" in this context of Genesis 6 refers to the line of those who had remained faithful to God and did His will as I explained to you in detail. Only those who are faithful to God are called sons of God or children of God throughout the Bible in both testaments. We are told, "And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed” (Genesis 4:25). So Seth followed in Abel's footsteps not Cain's.

Thirdly, both Cain and Seth married and had descendants. In Genesis 4 and 5 the human race is divided into two main groups: the descendants of Cain (Genesis 4:17-24) and those of Seth (Genesis 4:25-26). Genesis 5:6-8 says, "Seth lived one hundred and five years, and begot Enosh. After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters.So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died." Those are the two main lines of descendants that are mentioned from Adam and Eve.

So the "sons of God" from one line of the descendants intermarried the "daughters of men" from another line of descendants and had children who were evil continually. The sons of God sinned by marrying the daughters of men who were unbelievers. Genesis 6:2 says, "that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose." The sons of God knew that God was against intermarriages between them and ungodly people.

Its not assumption. What is assumption is to say the sons of God were fallen angels and they married the daughters of men and were their legal husbands. Why would God punish the whole human race for the sins of fallen angels?

That the "sons of God" were separate enough from the "daughters of men" that they warranted such a distinction, has spawned millenia's worth of debate regarding the meaning of the term. Historically, in Jewish thought, this passage has had two interpretations:

1.Offspring of Seth: The first references to the offspring of Seth rebelling from God and mingling with the daughters of Cain are found in Christian and rabbinic literature from the second century CE onwards e.g. Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, Augustine of Hippo, Julius Africanus, and the Letters attributed to St. Clement. It is also the view expressed in the modern canonical Amharic Ethiopian Orthodox Bible. In Judaism "Sons of God" usually refers to the righteous, i.e. the children of Seth.

2.Angels: All of the earliest sources interpret the "sons of God" as angels. From the third century BCE onwards, references are found in the Enochic literature, the Dead Sea Scrolls (the Genesis Apocryphon, the Damascus Document, 4Q180), Jubilees, the Testament of Reuben, 2 Baruch, Josephus, and the book of Jude (compare with 2 Peter 2). This is also the meaning of the only two identical occurrences of bene ha elohim in the Hebrew Bible (Job 1:6 and 2:1), and of the most closely related expressions (refer to the list above). In the Septuagint, the interpretive reading "angels" is found in Codex Alexandrinus, one of four main witnesses to the Greek text.

The Second Angel’s Message.

Revelation 14:8, "And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”

The second angel states that “Babylon is fallen,” and the voice from heaven urges all of God’s people to come out of Babylon at once so they will not be destroyed along with it. Unless you know what Babylon is, you could easily end up staying in it.

The words “Babel” and “Babylon” mean “confusion.” The name Babylon originated at the Tower of Babel, which was erected after the Flood by defiant pagans who hoped to build it so high that no floodwaters could ever cover it. But the Lord introduced new languages and the resultant confusion was so great they were forced to halt construction. They then called the tower “Babel” meaning confusion.

The ancient kingdom of Babylon took God’s people captive and has long been recognized as the enemy of God’s truth and of His people. God uses the term here as reference to the doctrinal confusion in the modern churches. The announcement that “Babylon is fallen” refers to their departure from Bible truth. Other passages that refer to Babylon as fallen are Revelation 18:2 and Isaiah 21:9. This points to Babylon’s progressive apostasy and signifies the certainty of her full moral collapse.

In Revelation 17:5, Babylon is said to be ‘the mother of harlots’. A woman in Bible prophecy represents a church. A pure woman symbolises God’s pure church, which is faithful to her husband, Jesus (Revelation 19:7-8). A harlot or an impure woman represents a fallen, church that is unfaithful to Jesus. This harlot is a mother too. She has daughters and they are some of the churches that originally protested the false teachings of mother Babylon and left her during the great Protestant Reformation. But later they began to mimic the principles and actions of the mother and thus became fallen themselves. No woman is born a harlot. Neither were the symbolic Protestant daughter churches born fallen. Any church or organization that teaches and follows Babylon’s false doctrines and practices could become a fallen church or daughter. So Babylon is a family name that embraces both the Mother Church and those of her daughters who are also fallen.

Revelation 17 also pictures end-time Babylon as a harlot making people on earth drunk with her wine of immorality (Revelation 17:2). The wine of Babylon refers to the false teachings and false gospel offered by this apostate religious system. Today, as many Protestant churches, in fulfilment of Bible prophecy, rapidly erase the differences that once separated them from the Roman Catholic Church and turn away from biblical truth, we witness the corrupting influence of Babylon’s wine amongst the professed body of Christ.Theological traditions have replaced sola Scriptura. Intoxicated people cannot think clearly. As the people become spiritually inebriated by Babylon’s wine, Babylon will seduce them into worshipping the beast and receiving the mark of the beast.

Revelation 14:9-11, "Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

The third angel gives a fearful warning to those who “worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark.” Those who drink the wine of Babylon’s impure doctrines will “drink the wine of the wrath of God.”

The first angel commands true worship. The third angel tells of the tragic consequences connected with false worship. Do you know for certain who the beast is? And what his mark is? Unless you know, you could end up worshipping the beast without realizing it.

Revelation 14:12-13, "Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ”

In contrast to those who receive the mark of the beast, God’s people have been sealed with His mark (Revelation 7:2-3). They have remained obedient to God in spite of spiritual deceptions, economic coercion and a death decree (Revelation 13:15-17). They are commended for two crucial characteristics that have enabled them to persevere: keeping “the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” This combination is the secret to a successful Christian experience. We are saved by faith in the grace of Jesus (Ephesians 2:8-9); then, because we love Him, we desire Christ working in us. Faith and obedience go hand in hand to develop Christians who remain faithful even under the threat of torture and death.

Reaping the Earth’s Harvest.

Revelation 14:14-16, "Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped."

These verses come after the three angels' messages and is the conclusion of the great controversy between God and Satan. In Matthew 13 Jesus says the righteous and the wicked will grow together until the end of the world, and then they will be harvested and receive their reward (Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43; Revelation 22:12).

The King of Kings has received His kingdom, and now He is coming to take possession. At the first advent Christ sowed the seeds of gospel truth; at His second advent He reaps the harvest, and gathers the fruits of His labours.

Who commands the angels?

Speaking of Jesus Christ, the Scripture says in 1 Peter 3:22, “Who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.”

As we read in Joshua 5:13-15, Jesus Christ is certainly “captain of the Lord's host.”


What do angels look like?

There are several descriptions in the Bible of angels appearing in their glory. In Daniel, the tenth chapter, we read the prophet Daniel’s description of Gabriel, “His body was like beryl, his face like the appearance of lightning, his eyes like torches of fire, his arms and feet like burnished bronze in color, and the sound of his words like the voice of a multitude” (Daniel 10:6).

Of the angel that rolled away the stone from Christ's tomb, we read the following, “His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men” (Matthew 28:3-4).

Are angels real?

Angels are real and not made up from our imagination. In Genesis chapters 18 and 19 we read of the appearance of angels to God's servant Abraham. “So he [Abraham] took butter and milk and the calf which he had prepared, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree as they ate” (Genesis 18:8). And when two angels visited Lot, “...he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat” (Genesis 19:3).

Anyone who eats unleavened bread, butter, and roasted veal, and drinks milk is certainly real in the sense that we understand reality. It is true that angels can appear and disappear at will, but they are no less real.

The apostle refers to Abraham's experience with the angels and says, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:2). These angels appeared as strangers at the tent door of Abraham.

Will angels come back with Jesus?

When our Saviour comes in glory, He will not come alone. “For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works” “...and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 16:27; 24:31).

So the angels will take part in the final gathering of God's people. All the holy angels come with Him, not simply a part of them. They are all interested in our salvation, for they have all been ministering spirits to the children of God.

Turn to Matthew 25 and read this beautiful picture of the second coming of Christ, “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats."

What a scene, what glory, what a day! Remember, all the holy angels will be there, your guardian angel and mine. All the angels will be with Christ. Then comes the last act in this great drama.

“Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 4:17).

The Work of the Angels

Angels continually wait upon God and are fully committed to carrying out His commands. Seraphim and cherubim grace the presence of God by praising His holy name.

“And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory” (Isaiah 6:3).

An important work of the angels is to record all that transpires in the life of each individual on earth. Every good and every evil deed, yes, even our thoughts are entered into the annals of heaven. No mistake is made, no detail overlooked and one day each will have to give an account of their life on earth.

“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name” (Malachi 3:16).

Every living person has an attending angel. From the day of birth until death, this guardian angel watches over, encourages and records every event of that person’s life.

“Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 18:10).

Peter was delivered from prison by an angel. He then went to the home of the believers who were praying on his behalf. Before they realized he was released, this early Christian church exclaimed their unanimous belief that it was his guardian angel at the door. Ultimately they accepted that an angel had assisted him.

“And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate. And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel” (Acts 12:14-15).

Angels have an interest in our temporal welfare and many times faithful people of God have been protected from physical harm by their attending angel. Angels constantly seek to influence us for good and endeavour to turn our hearts to God. Dear friend, even as you study this lesson, your heavenly watcher is at your side to strengthen your faith and deepen your understanding in the truth of God.

The Word of God relates many experiences concerning angels.

Elisha was once surrounded by a hostile army. To allay his servants’ fears, Elisha prayed to God that the eyes of his servant might be opened to see the large host of angels protecting them.

“And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha” (2 Kings 6:16-17).

Angels of God are often commissioned to protect us in our travels: “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Psalm 91:11).

It was Daniel’s attending angel who closed the mouths of the lions when he was thrown into their den.

“My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt” (Daniel 6:22).

Depending upon the occasion and circumstances, angels have appeared to various people, sometimes as warriors defending the people of God.

“And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?” (Joshua 5:13-14).

Angels have accepted hospitality when visiting people in the form of men: “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares” (Hebrews 13:2).

In a time of crisis Jesus informed His disciples that, if necessary, God could send twelve legions of angels to protect Him. (A legion equals 3 to 6 thousand soldiers.)

“Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?” (Matthew 26:53).

From this statement we can infer that God can mobilize all heaven, if necessary, to save one of His beloved followers from sin or harm.

When Jesus comes the second time to this earth He will be escorted by heavenly angels: “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 13:41-42).

The angels will not only gather the wicked for destruction but will also gather the righteous for heaven.

“And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” (Matthew 24:31).

God's Spirit inspired the writing of the Bible and the Spirit needs to inspire the reading. We're told that spiritual things are spiritually discerned. "But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:14). We may not understand everything but that doesn't mean what God has allowed us to know we can't understand if we let the Holy spirit guide us. So I'll stick to the truth of God's Word.

I decided to respond to this.

You're right God is not a liar. And I will never say or imply He is. Ever heard of the first and second commandments of God's eternal law? The first says, "I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. “You shall have no other gods before Me" (Exodus 20:2-3).

That includes ourselves. The second says, "You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments" (Exodus 20:4-6).

Is God suggesting we break His commandments? Something He warns us not to do from the Old to the New Testament? Christ goes as far as telling us if we love Him, we should keep His commandments.

You have misunderstood Psalm 82 and John 10:34-38 and the meaning of the word "gods".

These so called gods are rebuked in Psalm 82 so this means they are a rebellious people while exercising God's attribute of judging so this Psalm is ultimately drawing a picture of God Judging the wicked judges.

Psalm 82:5-6 says, "They do not know, nor do they understand; They walk about in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are unstable. I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High."

Jesus used this term in John 10:34 speaking of the Jewish leaders lording it over the common people as if they were gods (non capitalised). “You are gods." Psalm 82 is an arraignment of unjust judges, spoken of as "gods". This and nowhere else in the Bible does it suggest that men are divine. Though we were made in His image, we certainly do not possess the attributes of God. God is omnipotent (all powerful), He’s omnipresent (everywhere), and He’s omniscient (knows all things). Humans are neither omniscient, omnipresent, or omnipotent. They aren’t anything like the one true God. In addition, God is self-existent and eternal, whereas man is not.

Rabbinical tradition applied the term "gods" to those who received the law: "The Israelites accepted the Torah only so that the Angel of Death should have no dominion over them (Psalm 82:6-7). Jesus made His reply in terms of this tradition.

Remember Satan tried to replace God and we know where that ended up! One fairly popular religion teaches that we can become gods and goddesses if we try hard enough. The Bible declares that the saints will become priests and kings and then only by the blood of Jesus Christ and not our works. I choose to believe the Bible, not some man made doctrine that teaches otherwise.

And connecting it to the false book of Enoch is wrong because it is a mixture of truth and error (mostly error) and that will always make it a false book. I posted some of the lies from the book of Enoch in my thread "The Giants/Nephilim in the Bible." I'll repost some of those lies here.

The book of Enoch is not in harmony with the rest of Scripture. Here are some examples:

a. The story of angels having sex with women contradicts Jesus’ saying in Matthew 22:30, “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.” This means angels are not sexual beings, fallen and unfallen.

b. Eighteen of these angels are listed by name in Enoch 6:3, 8; their leader is Semyaz. Not one of these names appears in the Bible. The giants they produce were 450 feet tall (Enoch 7:2). “These [giants] consumed the produce of all the people until the people detested feeding them. So the giants turned against [the people] in order to eat them” (7:3, 4). This is rather fanciful and against Scripture.

c. In Enoch 10:4, 5, “The Lord said to Raphael [a good angel] ‘Bind Azaz’el [an evil angel] hand and foot [and] throw him into the darkness!’ And he made a hole in the desert which was in Duda’el and cast him there; he threw on top of him rugged and sharp rocks.” According to Enoch, you can bind angels by throwing them into a hole in the desert.

d. In chapter 13, Enoch intercedes for Azaz’el.

e. In Enoch 15:9 evil spirits came out of the bodies of the giants.

“Many more fanciful and weird stories are contained in the book,” says Dr. Pfandl. “Jews and Christians, therefore, never considered the book as inspired by the Holy Spirit.”

In order to believe anything written in the book of Enoch, all of it has got to harmonise with the Bible not just some of it. The Word of God does not have half truths. All of the Bible is the truth and harmonises perfectly that is why, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God..." (2 Timothy 3:16). If doesn't all harmonise, its to be rejected immediately.

The book of Enoch is a hoax and not of God and is completely false about many things including the sons of God, the daughters of men and Nephilim. It does not and never will harmonise with God's Word and is therefore not inspired of God.

The Book of Enoch states that sin came from the intermixing of angel seed and man's seed. Lamech is told to hide so that his pure seed may be preserved. God would then wipe the world with a flood, thus removing sin (chapter 10). The Bible states that sin comes from breaking God's law. "Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness" (I John 3:4). Sin entered the world because Adam and Eve broke the commandment of God. "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned" (Romans 5:12). So instead of sin entering the world through one man, the Book of Enoch has sin being taught to men by 200 fallen angels (chapter 8).

Paul tells us that we need to love the truth (the whole truth not just some of it) to survive the end time events, “and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved" (2 Thessalonians 2:10).

Paul also describes the opposite of having the love of the truth as having “itching ears.” “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2 Timothy 4:3-4).
