I guess this is a fringe benefit of having Showtime while Twin Peaks is airing.
I have always been a huge fan of Oliver Stone and it's sad to see but entirely expected to see the media trashing him, as the only cardinal sin in American Politics is to question the military.

Look after watching all of it twice I can say this, I don't like Vladimir Putin and I wouldn't want him as my president, I can't stand his traditionalism and I'll never trust a life-long spy.
However he is right about most of the geo-political situations involving the US and Russia since the 1990s. It's the US that has been aggressive, we've been the ones meddling in foreign affairs and elections.
He has also been completely rational and restrained on a foreign stage when compared to the Cowboys that have been running this country since 1980.
The Russian hacking scandal is a complete distraction, it will not get rid of Trump but it will however give Trump a convenient excuse to continue to the status quo, or be even more aggressive towards them.
This is very dangerous and I can only hope that cooler heads prevail and we start nuclear disarmament.
