The privilege of prayer.

James 4:2-3, "You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures."

Many Christians claim to believe in God, yet they don't spend time talking to Him. When they first met Jesus, their prayer life was vibrant and active--but over time it dwindled down to nothing. They justify this by saying they don't have time, but the most common reason they no longer pray is because they don't really believe God hears or answers their prayers.

Some even feel that because their prayers were not answered when and how that they wanted that God was punishing them. Blessings.
