You know what I find interesting here? Your adamant insistence that Netflix has a sinister agenda... well, if profiting off entertainment is considered “agenda” then ok... buuut, that’s not social engineering - that’s just entertainment.

@Frank Badfinger
In our prophecies he has a defect in one or both of his eyes.
they could not promote him in all his ugliness.
As the false messiah he will be pushing a materialist existence devoid of the Creator and true spirituality.
This will be very attractive to some people.
I remember looking at the US dollar bill for this back in the day.........
this one is for the newbies.:)

sinister agenda...
Not a sinister agenda just an agenda to normalize certain lifestyles.
We can agree to disagree.
There are agendas that are in motion in the Entertainment industry or are you here on this site for fun and as a sceptic ?

You claimed their agenda was to promote un-islamic lifestyles - I'd say that was sinister... except that isn't their agenda, given that I provided ample evidence on the contrary lol

We can agree to disagree.
Amicably.

There are agendas that are in motion in the Entertainment industry
There are agendas to make money/profit in the entertainment industry... as well as, in some cases, to push agendas such as LGBTQ, etc no doubt... just haven't seen it as prevalent , or even anywhere near on Netflix, given the sheer variety of available streamable content. You choose your nepenthe on Netflix, you don't have it spoon fed to you.

or are you here on this site for fun and as a sceptic ?
Aren't they one and the same? ;)

Ok this is just weird. I am actually surprised by Netflix on this one. The show is clearly going to be a satire but it is surprising that they're drawing (very loosely) from Islam for once. The title of the thread made me think it would be another 'passion of the Christ' kind of movie/show but turns out it's not. Hmm...

Netflix is the hub for agendas though, clearly their slant with the antichrist/dajjal means something here. I'm not sure where this show really fits with most of their trends though, which are more around technology and obscured social-politics.
I agree, it’s a hub for agendas and they are up to something. True, its rather curious that they’ve taken a stab at Islamic eschatology. We’ve gotten so used to the entertainment industry and their explorations of Christian eschatology(think Nick Cage in Left Behind), and while there are a variety of beliefs within Christendom about the endtimes, its funny that the entertainment industry only cares about/dwells on pre-millennialism(rapture/pre-trib), so that should be saying something.

As an example, this professor thinks that neutralizing resistance to certain proposed and desirable changes may depend on the ability of the great culture management machinery of Western society– its television, movies and other related media–to develop a narrative in which such activity is naturalized within Western culture."

We don’t know how many (religious) psyop schemes are sitting on a desk somewhere
(http://washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/national/dotmil/arkin020199.htm)
but if and when “they” choose to greenlight one of them, I trust that “they” will rev up that “great culture management machinery” to first smooth things over. Come to think of it, how is a Christian in the West supposed to react when a muslim messiah suddenly shows up? I mean every faith has its own eschatology and everyone believes theirs is what will play out. Anyways, this will give non-muslims something to think about and how to react accordingly.

Ps: I haven’t forgotten about your reply in another thread and my response is on its way :)

Good one.:) Is it or isn't it their agenda EpistemiX?
Granted the unislamic lifestyles slant is mine but.......
Are they or are they not promoting these LGBTQ and binary/nonbinary etc lifestyles?
Never said it was prevalent and do not have cable nor check out the streamable content so I will take your word for it.
Interesting that Karly posted this below cause I was looking for content on how TV helped change social norms. Someone at one time posted a good paper on this.

Shaykh Omar Baloch (US) has given a few serious reflections on the series.
1. The series reinforces the stereotype that Dajjal will be Muslim and from the Middle East.
2. Making fun of religion is a common theme in the movie industry.
3. Anti-Islam series
4. Could be predictive programming
He has some more good points check his video on YT :

“The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses.”

Just been reading some interesting news articles on the web about this series.

Funny thing, the producers knew that Wnglish speaking folk won’t bother to research “al masih ad Dajjal” but failed to factor in that Arab speaking audiences would and therefore, be able to “spoil” the plot before the series has even aired.

I think what he does when he descends is the crux of the matter.....and a glad tiding for believers since he will deal with the Anti-Christ and bring justice.
Prophet Jesus عليه السلام as a Just Judge
Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, "By whom my soul is in his hand, soon, the Son of Mary (Jesus) will come down to be among you as a just Judge. He will break the cross, kill (outlaw raising) the pig, and abolish the Jizya (tax on Christians & Jews because Christianity and Judaism will end). There will be abundance (surplus or outflow) in Wealth (and money) to the extent that no one will accept it (if you want to give charity) and a single prostration (in prayer to Allah) will be better than the World and all what is in it." (Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
Within Christianity, there are a bunch of different eschatological beliefs or timelines i.e Premillenialism, Post Millenialism, Amillenialism etc. I think you are more familiar with the first one because we probably have more Premil people on the board?? Anyway, in a nutshell (as I understand it anyway since its not what I believe) rapture happens, then the tribulation, Jesus returns with the raptured saints to reign out of Jerusalem with the new(elite-built) temple ofcourse for 1000yrs.

So, reading this post of yours made wonder if Islamic eschatology can be accurately described as premillennial since both beliefs describe a sort of glorious/utopian-like reign once Christ returns and defeats the antichrist. Would I be correct in my assessment? Also, when does the “restoration” happen? Iam sure Islam has that; a renewal or recreation of things as at the beginning. So when does earth get its much needed/anticipated “facelift”?

I think this is what you were looking for regarding Netflix’s influence.

Hey Karly not familiar with Christian eschatology :)
However, after the defeat of the materialist and irreligious forces prophet Jesus will restore true religion and just rule.. On a side note, as this video on the Netflix show by Suboor Ahmad highlights atheists who require empirical evidence since they do not believe in a transcendent God will be the biggest supporters of dajjal and his call will be towards materialistic beliefs. (This is a second answer to your previous question who will fall for Dajjal's lies)
I looked up what will happen and posted an article about this many years ago.
Here is the gist.
It does appear that after the hardship and conflicts and the wars Jesus peace be upon him will bring a reign of justice and defeat the materialism and naturalism that have reached their zenith under dajjal (by the will of God the Most High). In the words of muslim scholar Bediuzzaman Nursi also known as Said Nursi wrote, "Jesus
will act as a Muslim and pray behind the imam of the Muslims, and work together with the right-acting people from the Islamic world, and will assume leadership in spreading the Quran and its teachings, and remove the ongoing violence of the system of the disbelievers:
and
"As mentioned earlier, the "savior" in our time is the penetration of the Quranic values to our souls and society. Upon his second coming, Jesus
will wholeheartedly adhere to these revealed values favored by Allah and strive purely to spread them to people all over the world.

"The knowledge of unseen and future events is something only known to Allah. Yet, it is certain that those who expect this blessed period and this person must at that time undertake important obligations. Just as Jesus
will protect and guide all believers, the believers will also have to give wholehearted support to Jesus
and help him in the services he renders for the sake of Allah. "

Netflix Christmas programming...no agenda here:rolleyes:

Netflix streams blasphemous ‘Christmas’ video depicting gay Jesus, adulterous Virgin Mary
SAO PAULO, Brazil, December 12, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – Netflix has released a blasphemous “Christmas special” movie that depicts Jesus as a homosexual and the Virgin Mary as an adulterer, prompting more than one million people to sign a petition to have the film removed from the popular streaming service.

A Primeira Tentação de Cristo, or The First Temptation of Christ, is a production of the Porta dos Fundos comedy troupe from Brazil. In the supposed parody, Jesus is shown bringing home a homosexual lover to meet Mary and Joseph.

On social media, Netflix proclaimed: “Jesus, who's hitting the big 3-0, brings a surprise guest to meet the family. A Christmas special so wrong, it must be from comedians Porta dos Fundos." Translated, Porta dos Fundos means “back door.”

More than one million people have signed a petition at Change.org demanding that the “gravely offensive” video be removed from the online streaming service. Politicians and public figures have denounced the video and Porta dos Fundos. Famed Brazilian actor and director Carlos Vereza, for example, wrote on Facebook that the troupe of satirists is "pitiful" for creating "trash-porn movies."
