Islam is not just another religion. It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as:

“Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.” (Quran 112:1-4)[4]

Who is God in islam?



The Most Concise Definition of God:

The most concise definition of God in Islam is given in the four verses of Surah Ikhlas which is Chapter 112 of the Qur’an:

"Say: He is Allah,
The One and Only.
"Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.
"He begets not, nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him."
[Al-Qur’an 112:1-4]
God does not become a human being:

God does not take human form:



Some may argue that God does not become a human being but only takes a human form. If God only takes a human form but does not become a human being, He should not possess any human qualities. We know that all the ‘God-men’, have human qualities and failings. They have all the human needs such as the need to eat, sleep, etc.

The worship of God in human form is therefore a logical fallacy and should be abhorred in all its forms and manifestations.

That is the reason why the Qur’an speaks against all forms of anthropomorphism. The Glorious Qur’an says in the following verse:

"There is nothing whatever like unto Him."

Who is God in Christianity?
The Prophets of the Old Testament such as Abraham, Noah and Jonah never preached that God is part of a Trinity, and did not believe in Jesus as their saviour. Their message was simple: there is one God and He alone deserves your worship. It doesn’t make sense that God sent Prophets for thousands of years with the same essential message, and then all of a sudden he says he is in a Trinity and that you must believe in Jesus to be saved.

The truth is that Jesus preached the same message that the Prophets in the Old Testament preached. There is a passage in the Bible which really emphasizes his core message. A man came to Jesus and asked “Which is the first commandment of all?”Jesus answered, “The first of all the commandments is Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.’’[Mark 12:28-29]. So the greatest commandment, the most important belief according to Jesus is that God is one. If Jesus was God he would have said ‘I am God, worship me’, but he didn’t. He merely repeated a verse from the Old Testament confirming that God is One.

Concept of God in Judaism

II) The notion of God in Judaism:

(i) The following verse from the book of Deuteronomy contains an exhortation from Moses (PSL)

"Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adna Ikhad"

It is a quote in Hebrew which means:
"Hear, Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord"

The following verses are taken from the Book of Isaiah:

(ii) "I, I am the Lord, and outside me there is none who saves. [The Bible, Isaiah 43:11]

(iii) "I am the Lord, and there is no other, there is no other God than me. [The Bible, Isaiah 45: 5]

(iv) "I am God, and there is no other, I am God, and no one is like Me. [The Bible, Isaiah 46: 9]

(v) Judaism condemns the worship of idols in the following verses:
"" You will not have other gods before me ".
"You shall not make yourself a cut image, nor any likeness of what is in the heavens above, and what is on the earth below, and what is in the waters below the earth: "
"You shall not bow down to them, nor serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God." [The Bible, Exodus 20: 3-5]



In Judaism too, we find the same thread of monotheism, which is seen in other religions.

The Quran uses the word ‘We’ when quoting Allah. Does that mean that Muslims believe in more than one God?

Islam adheres to uncompromising monotheism. It teaches that God is One and indivisible. In the Quran, God often refers to Himself as "We". But it does not mean that there is more than one God. The reference of God to Himself as "We" in many Quranic verses is necessarily understood in the Arabic language to denote power and grandeur, as opposed to the more intimate singular form, "I", used in specific instances.


In some languages there are two types of plural form. One is related to quantity and used to refer to two or more persons, places or things. The other kind of plural is one of majesty, power and distinction. For example, in proper English, the Queen of England refers to herself as ‘we’. This is known as the ‘royal plural’. Rajeev Gandhi, the ex-Prime Minister of India used to

say in Hindi, "Hum dekhna chahte hain". "We want to see." ‘Hum’ means ‘we’, which is again a royal plural in Hindi language. Similarly, when God refers to Himself in the Quran, He sometimes uses the Arabic word 'nahnu', meaning ‘We’. It does not indicate a plurality of number but the plurality of power and majesty.


The oneness of God is stressed throughout the Quran. A clear example is in this short chapter “Say: He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him.” (Quran 112:1-4)

How anyone can argue the Bible is not changed today is amazing honestly. Seriously, they literally continue to change it even today!

Consider the prophets, some who actually spoke to God, committing incest and worshiping idols. No changes there for sure. Right?? ...But we've had this conversation before, haven't we?

The modern Islamic narrative seems to rely on the elevation of the 19th century higher critics, especially hypothetical ideas like the “Lucian Recention” and the Revised Version produced by Wescott and Hort. The notion that the “critical text” I.e. the corrupt Alexandrian texts which represent around 3.5% of the manuscripts in existence are the oldest and best is the foundation for this critique.

In a sense the modern Islamic polemic against the Bible has gone hand in hand with apostate higher critics who put their faith in the narrative popularised by Tischendorf, Westcott & Hort, the Allands, Bruce Metzger and Bart Ehrman. It was actually Muslims who prompted me to research the topic and I shared the link because what I found out (and continue to find) put an end to feeling intimidated by the elevated but maimed texts Codex Vaticanus, Sinaiticus, Alexandrinus, Ephremi Rescripti etc.



The above diagram illustrates twice lineages of manuscripts. After the chart was produced, additional doubts have emerged about the authenticity and provenance of both codex Vaticanus and Sinaiticus. As it is the elevation these versions that are used to cast doubt on the majority text and infer multiple pious inventions and scribal changes, the fact that they are being reevaluated may be of some interest to you @Daze

The fact stands that the majority text is around 99.5% harmonious. It is only when an attempt is made to include the (Gnostic influenced) Alexandrian texts that you get your “many changes. If you want a good Bible, stick with one based on the Textus Receptus.

Does God allow men to create writings that purport to be His word? Look at the rejected heretical texts like the First Apocalypse of James (incidentally being copied and produced by the same scribes modern scholars are trusting to have produced the “oldest and best” versions)

Incidentally, if you wanted further evidence, Alexandria was the area that gave us the Nag Hamadi Library of Gnostic texts like Sophia and the Archons which have nothing to do with true Christianity!

It would appear that the early church knew these were bad texts and chose not to reproduce them. The fact that at least Codex Alexandrinus is old and intact indicates that not many people bothered with it!

Indeed the Bible remains but how much of it is original? I can personally guarantee God did not give the Jews permission to lend on interest.

While whats in it that is original, how much of that is ignored? Such as 32 separate verses forbidding the consumption of pork?

I work with a trinitarian and he asked me yesterday why i don't eat pork. I told him because its a filthy animal that eats all manor of filth, even human waste. I should have just pointed him to his Bible.

How about all those verses where Jesus says he can do nothing but still you ascribe divinity to him?

Why do you even go there Red?

We all know the Quran today is exactly as it was revealed. Regardless of the dozens of one eyed youtube videos you've seen claiming otherwise. We literally have 1400 year old Quran's to verify it, not to mention its always been an oral tradition. Millions today can recite the Quran cover to cover from MEMORY and it has always been this way.

I frequently point out all those who hate Islam today can't find the ability to change a single letter. Look at China, a nation of a BILLION. They have went on record saying they will write there own Quran and this was how many years ago? Where is it?

And if you are in doubt about what We have sent down upon Our Servant [Muhammad], then produce a surah the like thereof and call upon your witnesses other than Allah, if you should be truthful. (2:23 Quran)

1400 years and many haters of Islam have lived and died. Where is their Quran? Why do we only have one Quran today?
Why has EVERY generation failed to produce as much as surah Kawthar? The shortest chapter in the Quran.

This is it, in its entirety.


To this day there is one Quran. In the original language that it was revealed in.

Its a modern day miracle Red. One equal to Moses splitting the red sea and even equal to Jesus raising the dead.

Indeed God has claimed in the Quran kareem that He himself protects it and we see the proof of this today.






Compare this to the 2000+ Bibles today. So many you yourself have to select specific versions.

Do I think that it is good that this state of affairs should be? No!

Do I believe that counterfeit banknotes cast doubt on the reality of genuine currency? Not at all.

Given people and their proclivity to try to bend faith to the ideas of the day and their own preferences and wishes, it should be obvious why such diversity has arisen. Some folk who identify as “Christian” are simply not, while others hold some doctrines and neglect or misunderstand others. That one group chooses to split from a group who they believe fail to represent a correct of the Bible (rather than remain and play a theological tug of war) should surprise no true student of human nature.

I am also not arguing for the need for many Bibles, just expressing the circumstances that would lead to multiple translations. I like the KJV as I think it closest relates to the Textus Receptus Greek text in English.

As for the video, it was intended for anyone who wanted to understand more clearly the issues involved. Whether or not you want to dig into it is up to you, but the headline is this:

Turning that upside down, we have an enduring line of maybe up to 99% of the preserved texts which are of the traditional text type, with amazing harmony between versions including the early Syriac Pachita New Testament (150 AD), the Italic version and the Gothic version produced by a missionary to the Goths in 350 AD which have the same readings as the KJV and other Textus Receptus Bibles. How could this be if the supposed changes were made to late Byzantine texts? We also have early church writers referring to passages which are absent from the CT.

That bad versions and redacted corruptions should be made is a consequence of human free will, just as “Christian” cults like JWs and Mormons spring up through heretical ideas.

If you want to look more deeply into the subject, the way to go is to look at whether or not the claims made about the authenticity and veracity of the critical text can be substantiated. Im not surprised at all red. Go back to 300 AD and the council of Nicea declared the prophet Jesus to be god incarnate. Shouldering right up with other pagan, 3 in 1 faiths in the vicinity.

The Quran says that Allah is merciful and that He gives severe punishment. So is He forgiving or is He vengeful?
The Quran mentions many times that God is the Most Merciful. In fact, all except one of the 114 chapters of the Quran begin with Bismillaahi Aahmaani Arraheem, which means, "I begin with the name of God, the Entirely Merciful and the Especially Merciful". These two descriptions of God are sometimes translated as "The Compassionate, the Merciful"; however in Arabic grammar, both names are an intensive form of the word "merciful". Rahmaan means merciful to all creation, and justice is part of this mercy. Raheem means merciful especially to the believers and forgiveness is part of this mercy. A complimentary and comprehensive meaning is intended by the use of both of them together. In addition, Allah speaks of His forgiveness throughout the Quran. In fact, God's mercy and

forgiveness have been mentioned together more than 70 times in the Quran. Allah repeatedly reminds us saying “Tell My servants that I am indeed the Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful; And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty.” (Quran 15:49-50)
Allah is just, and His justice necessitates that He reward those who obey and serve Him and punish those who disobey and rebel against Him. If Allah did not punish the sinful, wicked and evil people who deserve to be punished, it would not be justice. When punishment for wrongdoing is certain, it serves to deter potential offenders. In contrast, if Allah forgave everyone and punished no one, there would be no reason for legislation, ethics or even morality.


Life on earth would be chaotic and nothing short of anarchy. True justice, with its true rewards and just penalties can only be found with Allah, and that is what He has promised in the Quran “We shall set up scales of justice for the Day of Judgment, so that not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least, and if there be (no more than) the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take account.” (Quran 21:47)


Allah forgives all those who repent and correct themselves at any stage in their lives, and He has invited all people to His abundant forgiveness and mercy:
Say: ‘O My slaves who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful. And return (in repentance) to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped. And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord before the punishment comes upon you suddenly, while you do not perceive. (Quran 39:53-5)

Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. "Turn ye to our Lord (in repentance) and bow to His (Will), before the Penalty comes on you: after that ye shall not be helped. "And follow the best of (the courses) revealed to you from your Lord, before the Penalty comes on you - of a sudden while ye perceive not!- "Lest the soul should (then) say: 'Ah! Woe is me!- In that I neglected (my duty) towards Allah, and was but among those who mocked!'- "Or (lest) it should say: 'If only Allah had guided me, I should certainly have been among the righteous!'

The Prophet, mohmmed peace be upon him, is perfect in human perfection, and as for absolute perfection, it is for God alone, and none of his creatures can share in it, no matter who he is, neither a close angel nor a prophet , and all creatures suffer from imperfection.





The Prophet Muhammad,peace be upon him, warned against giving him some attributes of divinity.







Muhammad, like Jesus, never claimed divine status. He called people to worship Almighty Allah alone, and he continually emphasized his humanity. In order to prevent his deification, Prophet Muhammad always said to refer to him as "Allah's slave and messenger". He said – “Do not adulate me as the Christians adulated Jesus son of Mary. I am Allah's slave and messenger.”

And Jesus is the Messenger of God.



Muhammad was chosen to be Allah's final messenger and to communicate His message to us, not only in words, but also as a living example of its practical application. Muslims love and respect him because of his impeccable and upright moral character and because he conveyed the truth from Allah - which is the pure monotheism of Islam.


Muslims strive to follow the great example of Prophet Muhammad but do not worship him in any way. Islam teaches Muslims to respect all of Allah's prophets and messengers. However, respecting and loving them does not mean worshipping them. Muslims know that all worship and prayer must be directed to Allah alone.




In fact, the worship of Muhammad - or anyone else – along with, or instead of, Almighty Allah is considered an unpardonable sin in Islam. Even if a person claims to be Muslim but worships or prays to anything other than God, it invalidates one's claim to Islam. The Declaration of Faith makes it clear that Muslims must worship Allah alone.

Most Muslims find it rather odd that their religion, which strikes a remarkable balance between faith and deeds, are sometimes accused of being "fatalistic". Perhaps this misconception came about because Muslims are known to say "All praise is due to Allah" whenever anything good or bad happens. This is because Muslims know that everything comes from God, the Creator of the universe, and occurs by His will. Thus, a Muslim worries less about material matters and views earthly life in a proper perspective. A true Muslim relies completely on Allah and knows that whatever happens is always for the best, whether one recognizes it or not, so one graciously accepts whatever cannot be changed.


This does not mean that Muslims should simply await destiny and take no action in life. On the contrary, Islam demands action and effort to change every undesirable situation. To be more precise, action is a required part of one's faith. If human beings did not have the ability to act, it would be unjust for Allah to expect them to do and to avoid certain things. Far from being "fatalistic", Islam teaches that man's main obligation in life is to act and exert effort in obedience to God.


Islam teaches that human beings should take positive action in this life and supplement it with prayer. Some people are lazy and careless and then blame the negative result on destiny or fate. Some even say that, if Allah had willed, they would not have sinned or committed crimes. All of these arguments are completely erroneous, because Allah has taught us how to live and has ordered us to always do what is right. Allah has not ordered us to do anything that we are unable to do or prohibited anything that we cannot avoid, because His justice is complete and perfect. Each individual is held responsible within the limits of their ability and not beyond it.

This is something I disagree with... to state ANYTHING is "perfect" to attempt to attch that word to anyone/thing other than God almighty is risking shirk imo. If we are being honest, there is no way humans can really even comprehend perfection, let alone attain it. For example, when a team goes undefeated throughout their season, its often called a "perfect" season, same with fighters who win all rounds of a competition. But their are always mistakes made, many of them. So rather than say "perfect" I use terms such as "Undefeated" No losses" and "Pitched a shutout" (even if it aint baseball lol

I try to be very conscious regarding the word perfect, as even Muhammed, Jesus and others had moments of failing... these moments were all part of Gods plan and their journey... but clearly it shows they were not "perfect" as only the Most High has such an exalted and unattainable status.

Humane Perfection of Prophet Muhammad



Human perfection is one of the attributes of the prophets and messengers, they are the best of creation at all. God chose them from among all of His creation because they are distinguished by the attributes of human perfection. The best of them in morals, the noblest in lineage, they have conscious minds and preponderant
They are the most beautiful people in body and physical strength



Say thou: “I am but a man like you: It is revealed to me by Inspiration, that your Allah is one Allah.” (Al Fussialat, 6)


Two basic characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) have been mentioned in the Glorious Qur’an which is the obvious and certain endorsement of the Qur’an and also called as nass. One is his Prophethood and the other is his humane aspect. A poet has said:


محمد بشر لا كالبشر


بل هو كالياقوت بين الحجر


Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a human, but not like others.


Whatever the quality of ruby is in comparison to other jewels, the Prophet (PBUH) is like that among other people.


It is possible to divide the humane aspect of the Prophet into two branches. The first branch is his servitude to his Lord (SWT); and the second one is his relationship with the people around him.


There are almost a thousand miracles demonstrating the Prophethood of the Messenger Muhammad (PBUH). The greatest and eternal one among these miracles is the Qur’an. And his second greatest miracle after the Qur’an is his personality, that is the exalted morality which everybody, for or against, agreed that he climaxed in every kind of good manner and character. In other words, he was at the greatest and unreachable level in all aspects of exalted morality.


Besides he lived by the religion that he brought more than any other person and performed servitude for his creator more than anyone else and shunned away from His prohibitions more than everyone. With this position and attitude, he has been the Apostle and sincere servant of the Lord of the Realms.


We are going to touch upon the humanely sides in his morality in this article rather than the proof of his prophethood.


And yes, it is possible to realize a couple of important points when we take a look at the exalted and lofty morality of our Prophet (PBUH).


• His permance in his morality.


• Combining opposite manners in his personality perfectly without conflicting each other.


• His living by the highest degrees of all the moral characteristics with his will and effort.


Let us briefly explain these points:


HIS PERMANENCE IN HIS EXALTED MORALITY


The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the only person who was able to sustain his lofty and fine morality that he had from beginning to the end. That determination and firmness of hiS is so rooted and essential to him that pre and post prophethood does not make any difference from that viewpoint. It means that how perfect moral values he had during his prophethood, he had them also before being prophet. All the characteristics that he had since his childhood accompanied him till the end of his life, and he encountered with his Lord, Allah (SWT) with them.


There had not been a decrease or deficiency in his good moral and merits, and there had not been fluctuations in practice of these morals in his entire life.


In what degree his integrity, compassion, dignity, modesty, generosity, forgiveness, patience, courage, perseverance and all good characteristics were in the beginning, they were the same at the end. He preserved the same modesty that he had in childhood when he became the leader of the state. Additionally, it is impossible to find different level of practices in the life of Prophet Muhammad like that he was patient one day and more or less the other day, or today he is compassionate and the other day he is ruthless. That stability in feelings and manners showed such an order that it became one of the signs of his prophethood.


COMBINING OPPOSITE MANNERS IN HIS PERSONALITY PERFECTLY AND WITHOUT CONFLICTING EACH OTHER


Actually, the manners of good morality do not contradicting each other, yet it is possible that the highest levels of good manners exist in a person and they do not conflict with each other. When a characteristic dominates, it weakens another characteristic. For example:


• Mildness vs. courage


• Humbleness vs. boldness


• Justice vs. compassion


• Frugality vs. generosity


• Dignity vs. shame


• Affection vs. hate for the sake of Allah


• Forgivingness vs. seeking his rights


• Fatalism vs. working


It is just a pure miracle that all these abovementioned characteristics will combine in the highest level on one person and none of them will dominate and neutralize the other and such kind of a situation has been witnessed only on Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and nobody other than him has shown such a situation.


Imagine that a man is both perfectly frugal and also so generous that he provides everyone’s needs; he is marvellously compassionate and also so just that he never transgresses the rights of anyone; and all these characteristics are extraordinarily harmonious. And so on. Such perfection and harmony was combined by only Allah’s Messenger (PBUH).


HE REACHED THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF ALL GOOD MORALITIES


Allah (SWT) enjoins us the orders such as “Worship! Forgive! Invite people to goodness! Have patience!” in the Glorious Qur’an. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reports these orders us and this is his mission of being a prophet. After conveying them, together with his companions he starts practising these orders, which constitute his being a human, in other words his being a servant of Allah (SWT). That aspect of Prophet is far beyond of our reaching.


Let us justify that judgement with a couple of examples:


Allah (SWT) has ordered Muslims to spread the message of Islam in the Qur’an. All believers are supposed to carry out that duty and the borders and limits of the invitation are not explicitly mentioned in the Qur’an and it is open-ended. Every believer disseminates his/her faith on his own, but our Prophet spread it with an extraordinary effort and he exhausted himself in such a degree that some verse was revealed on this:


“Surely those who disbelieve, it being alike to them whether you warn them, or do not warn them, will not believe.” (Baqara, 6)


“Perhaps you will kill yourself with grief because they do not believe.” (Shuara, 3)


“Then maybe you will kill yourself with grief, sorrowing after them, if they do not believe in this announcement.” (Kahf, 6)


How many people are there on the earth that exhaust and worry themselves to lead people into the right direction and Allah (SWT) consoles them?


Not being contented with this, the Prophet (PBUH) invited the people once again to Islam in the Farewell Hajj in last moments of his life and he asked: “Have I invited you?” His companions answered “Yes” and beseeches Allah (SWT): “Bear witness o my Lord! Bear witness o my Lord! Bear witness o my Lord!”


To obey the order of his Lord, what else can anybody do?


Another example is the servitude of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH). As we have indicated above, our Lord (SWT) has ordered us to show our servitude to Him in many verses of the Qur’an. The servitude of Allah’s Messenger (SWT) was in an unreachable level.


Although his all sins are forgiven, his wife Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The worship of the Messenger of Allah was like torrential rain. Which of you can do something like that?”


One day, while he was prostrating he stood very long and Aisha worried that he might have passed away (Although she was accustomed these long prayers).


Another important order of our religion is “to be forgiving”. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had a high degree as he had in another characteristic of good moral.


After he was stoned in Taif the angel Jabrael (PBUH) came and said that if he wished they would destroy the city of Taif. However, the Prophet demanded the people of Taif to be pardoned let alone being castigated.


He has never reprimanded and scolded the archers in the battle of Uhud although they acted against his order, and that attitude was praised in the Qur’an.


It is possible to give many other examples.


Consequently, Allah (SWT) has explained the orders that the believers need to obey in the Qur’an and He has left the method and quantity of the actions to the will of the people. Nobody has reached to the Prophet (PBUH) in performing of these orders and the humanity will be glad if they can get closer his level of morality.


We call the rank of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that we described above, and he has reached with his humane will, and effort and perfection as “Walayat al Muhammadiya (PBUH)” and all the prayers that he determined with his personal effort as “Tariqat al Muhammadiya (PBUH)”.


May Allah (SWT), who is Most Merciful and Most Compassionate, make us benefit the lofty morality of the Prophet (PBUH).

Our direct communications with our Heavenly Father , through the power of the Holy Ghost , if sought with the attitude of sincerity and humility , we are told we will be given wisdom about a thing we inquire in prayer about . He tells us this .What greater teacher or interpreter could there ever be ? . Nothing is more peaceful , understandable , and non confusing as when the Father touches your intellect and shows you wisdom . It makes sense to you and is easily understood . He tells us to be teachable as little children . So if any person seeks to understand a confusion or ponders and questions scripture , prayer with sincerity and humility will get you the understanding you seek . The truth. Discerning truth . what a wonderful , awesome gift we have access to .

The Bible has been changed and changed and mistranslation are 2 completely different things. Don't the 10 commandments forbid lying? Why is it that so many Christians try to deceive? Honestly it is changed even today as we live and breathe.

The truth is you worship a man who is constantly referred to as prophet in your book. A man who literally cried to God to save him in your book. A man who literally worshiped God in your book.

As I've told Red. Why don't you go convince all of those Unitarian Christians that Jesus is god. Then maybe you can try to convince the Muslims.
