We all want to be good people but like a baby hooked on Meth in-utero, we have an inclination outside the womb. Self-harm is basically written in our DNA. Imo, if it wasn't for a Higher Power, that upholds our 'good nature', earth would have stopped spinning on its axis like aeons ago, blown to smithereens.

I think that Karly is talking about the shadow archetype. That's what I'm thinking of anyway. Put simply the shadow aspect of the human mind contains all of the negative qualities. Like destruction, hate, and killing. None of us really identify with these things, but they exist within us. Repressed within the shadow archetype. That's why a lot of good people turn bad. The shadow takes over, they succumb to a basic urge to feed it.

Don't feed your own shadow. Jung talked about how every person goes through a time where they fight their own shadow. And it's supposedly the most frightening thing to go through. From my experiences, I concur with that statement. If you try to fight your shadow, you will lose. Every time. In Jungian psychology the point is to make these things conscious. To integrate them into conscious awareness, or transform them into something more socially acceptable.

Jung's speculations is likely what Jesus meant when he said, "do not resist evil" (placed in an improper context from which pacifism is the logical consequence). This interpretation is absurd, Christians are told to resist the devil in James and 1 Peter. Here, it must mean do not fight evil within yourselves, do not give it attention.

After looking at some (not all) of these posts, frankly I'm more worried about the use of lethal chemicals we (in the U.S.) are going to make OK. I mean the effect on humans would be bad of course, but in the smallest form it is lethal to bees. No bees, no life. The population here isn't dropping, but do we have a leader making bad decisions...well, duh.

I think we established it's not first world nations in fear of overpopulation, however, first-world nations are the largest polluters and contributors to environmental destruction/deforestation/etc. And are these first world spoils being supplied to third world nations with their increasing populations? I doubt they'd be called "third world" if they were living it up...am I right?

So how is an increasing population a threat, when we are clear that it's those countries with the lowest populations per capita, which are causing the most destruction?

If you do a little digging...you'll see that "population control" movements are or were not rooted in concern for the Earth...but rather their birth is found in "first-world" eugenics programs in pursuit of racial "purification." Firm proponents of such movements go by the names of Julian Huxley, Margaret Sanger and other ilk. They realized that after WWII racial "cleansing" was no longer fashionable...so they needed a new way to sell it. And so was born "environmentalism." We're not looking to control who can reproduce, but rather...we're concerned about the preservation of the rainforests....

It's really brilliant in a way...the way they've managed to market it. And now you see people marching around with vagina hats and pussy hats screaming for the *right* to murder their unborn children...when that's just what they wanted all along...

I could write a book here, but let me just say humanity will end when it ends. There is nothing anyone can or say or do to stop it if and when it happens. Pole shifts, Solar flares, CMEs etc are nothing more than a continuation of the 2012 scare.....Solar flares and CMEs are going to happen and there is nothing anyone can do to stop them....Pole shifts happen. One thing the lady in the video did get right is that the last one was 780,000 years ago.

This suggestion mistakenly assumes that a pole reversal would momentarily leave Earth without the magnetic field that protects us from solar flares and coronal mass ejections from the sun. But, while Earth's magnetic field can indeed weaken and strengthen over time, there is no indication that it has ever disappeared completely. A weaker field would certainly lead to a small increase in solar radiation on Earth – as well as a beautiful display of aurora at lower latitudes - but nothing deadly. Moreover, even with a weakened magnetic field, Earth's thick atmosphere also offers protection against the sun's incoming particles.

Whatever. She's just reporting what scientists are saying. What it makes me wonder about is: is this the reason for all the fuss around Antartica? Because of the pole drift/shift?
