"Marxist-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged, or counter balanced by the basic values of Americanism."

He's talking about the people who would vote for the progressive left.

Someone please explain to me how redirecting the tax dollars we already pay from funding endless wars to actually providing for the countries citizens is a bad thing.

Without fear mongering, without citing billionaires and elites who are vested in maintaining the status quo. Just on principle alone.

Frank:
Don’t be fooled by Bernie Sanders — he’s a diehard communist
Also Frank:
The point I was making was the MSM is 100% controlled. So if there is any kind of movement that gains traction and becomes the focus of the media (on a national level)you can be sure it was planned that way. TPTB control the narrative to serve their best interests.

I wonder why they're so scared of Bernie. /sarcasm

That article was written two weeks prior to the 2016 Democratic Party Presidential primaries, where Bernie played his role and took a fall for team Clinton. All by design.
Your response to Sanders' popularity is by design. Links to NY Post, seriously? Demented Drumph, billionaire oligarchs, right-wing zionists and geriatric Birch Society propagandists are the ones labeling Bernie as a "commie." Ohh he's gonna bankrupt America! How does one bankrupt a country that's already trillions in debt? LOL. This country's been so brainwashed by corporate neo-liberal influence, we don't even have a leftist party.

I'm not claiming Sanders is some savior. A few issues from his platform I'm not interested, but his intelligence and sincerity is a step in the right direction. Encouraging workers unions, taxing wall street, taxing the ultra-wealthy, lowering our military budget, nationalized health care (including dental, vision, and hearing), ending support for the Saudi war on Yemen, de-funding Israel if they continue their illegal occupation... how are these programs not in line with the values of the majority/blue collar segment of the US?

Seriously, the very same blue collar majority that gets thrown under the bus once their savior gets elected.

I have ZERO faith in the political left/right process. Take your pick - Coke or Pepsi. Burger King or McDonalds. Sanders gives hope to the hopeless, like Trump did and Obama before him. Once in power its the same old thing. They are bought and paid for actors playing their part in this scripted drama called American politics.

You support open borders and globalism. The worst thing for workers, midde class, blue and white collar employees. Let's bring in millions of people to compete for your jobs to drive down wages, let them bring their families over to dilute the social services we provide, make housing and cost of living more expensive.

I respect your point of view. I have other friends who feel the same way, they have no faith in the current process or in the candidates.

Whether you think Sanders is red scum or not, the guy is consistent as a sunrise. He will try to have bills he supports passed through congress the same way he has for 40 years. He's a liberal and democratic socialist to the core. His voting record is rock-solid consistent, and I highly doubt he goes on a radical tangent at 80 years of age. There's no comparison to a compulsive liar like Drumph who had no history in politics.

Immigrants are NOT - and I repeat NOT - the problem or why those things happen. The ruling class has done an excellent job convincing you that immigrants are to blame in order to divert attention from themselves.

Seal the borders. Lock em out. Ship them out. None of that will change. I’m sorry. The solution isn’t that simple, a lot of rich folks just want you to believe it is.

I live in a pocket of the country where there are no immigrants. It’s like 90% white. We still have those problems. Actually, we have them way worse here then they were when I lived in NYC or N.J., both places with large diverse immigrant populations.

I agree. The panic over immigration was drummed up in 2015, it's been the central focus of the president and his supporters- from his campaign to the government shutdown, now dipping back into the military budget- it's all about the wall.

Immigration rates are near what they've been for 40 years. The number have increased since 2010 but there's no need for corporate manufactured hysteria. The immigrant population is still hovering below 15%. 30% of immigrants are Mexican. The other 60% come from all around the world. We need to think about the facts properly and find solutions with these other countries.

Wages, health care, and income equality are much more important issues to me. So are campaign finance reform, community investment, and affordable housing.

While people freak out about immigration updates from FOX, they should remember their boy has rolled back dozens of environmental regulations, given a tax break to the wealthiest banks, and cut funding for Medicare. Drumph then helps push through the USMCA (NAFTA 2.0) which Bernie Sanders opposed. It's another sell-out of US workers and producers. The greatest tool we had in 25 years to force corporations and governments to address the immigration issue was turned into a give-away to transnational tax absconders, it's disgusting.

We will expose Trump not only for the liar, pathological liar that he is... He is a fraud. He is a liar. And we will expose him for what he is.- Bernie Sanders

No the rich and big business always want more immigrants LOL. Supply and demand is not a hard concept to understand. Increase the supply of labor and wages stagnate. Same for housing. That is why the rich WANT MORE IMMIGRATION. It's blatantly untrue that the wealthy and ultra free market capitalists don't want more immigrants, they do. I hear that false hood all the time.

What you say just isn't true. Housing absolutely costs a hell of a lot more in NYC or San Francisco or Austin or any city that has had very high immigration rates. Many immigrants use more in services than they put in and whenever Trump tries to put in a fix to make sure we only get immigrants who are self sufficient (I don't even them because it's more competition for white collar wages), Democrats and the court system oppose it, so more tax dollars go to support immigrants using social services. It's a fact that most Hispanic immigrants use social services. Bernie wants to create a massive lure to immigrants with these social programs and additionally he wants to go soft on enforcement. It's absolutely going to dilute the value we would get from his programs. Why would we want poor people with limited to no skills to come take advantage of universal healthcare and any other programs?
