I’m American; so question to you brits. Just exactly what do the royals do? From the sound of things it sounds like they are glorified welfare recipients lol

Thats basically what they are. Most like Andrew and Harry are dirt poor without the taxpayer handouts and free homes from the queen. I am seeing a shift in the UK more people are like myself and would gladly see them thrown away. I used to be a very minute minority but im seeing more and more wanting them gone.

They try and sell us Brits the lies that they make money for the country but that was proven wrong. Lego Land in Windsor London makes more money in a year than all the tourist/royal houses combined. That includes the tower of London, Kensington, Windsor, Sandringham, Holyrood, and Balmoral.
In fact, I went last year to both the tower and Kensington because i had free tickets (i refuse to pay) and well there were more foreign tourists, mainly Americans and Chinese and they werent many. They are a waste of money and we could still use their palaces and castles as tourist attractions without their greedy asses. Just look at France Versailles is one of the most visited tourist attractions in the world.

Personally, i think once the queen snuffs it. We will see an acceleration of the end of the monarchy. The only reason they are still popular is that the queen. People hate Charles and Camilla thanks to Diana and now it looks like Charles is going to go back on his promise. He promised if he could marry Camilla he would not make her queen, not hes changed his mind. William is hated by most the youth because his brothers wife is black and because its a well known secret hes been shagging his way through Kates friends, even the week she gave birth to the first kid. HArry isnt popular with most royalists and hes not that popular outside of twitter and the wokists. Andrew is universally hated for obvious reasons. The queen is liked by most because shes always been there. once shes gone theres nothing to hold on to. They did try the whole making out William and Kate were average middle class people but that backfired when everyone said ''well why are we treating them as if they are special?''

?? The plethora of stories and comments I have read and heard indicate Markle is disliked and despised for her power hungry, hypocritical, and attention seeking actions, not her color, and I've never read / heard anyone saying they hate William because of Markle's race.

It's coming. I see quite a few similarities to the Russian, French and Greek royal families. They are lauding their wealth while also trying to play the victim. The fact Andrew has lost his titles days a lot to me. Even 10 years ago I would not have seen that happening. Even they are starting to see the writing on the wall and the crown is no longer a shield to protect them.

I've never been a royalist and very anti royal. I was always the only one I knew who felt like that. The usual excuses trotted out. But now it's hard to find someone whose pro royal.

I think Edward and Wallace Simpson were the first cracks. Diana then Meade them bigger. Now the cracks are caverns and there's no was of saving them. Funny how it took two American women to help (Wallace and Meghan)
