God's Spirit Does Not Resemble ours. Our spirits are nothing but creatures. We cannot compare His Spirit to ours since His Spirit Always Existed while ours have been created by Him.

God's Spirit Is One. Our spirits resemble each other in one way or another. Our spirits necessitate a vehicle, the body, to exist during the life of this world. God Is Not physical nor material. There's nothing like unto Him.

It also does not befit God to become man. Man's lower self is an animal that he needs to maintain control of. God Suffices to Himself. God Does Not eat. God Does Not Need any spouse. God Is Simply Always Watching everything at every moment in time.
Sometimes people assume so much about others...

Is this view why Muslims don't understand God as a Father (Abba)? I guess you wouldn't expect to "hear" from Allah or know him in the way that you could begin to know a person? I'm just grasping for understanding here...

Hi Yannick, Good post. Hebrews explains God's plan in Christ as the Son of man. Christ was made a little lower than the angels (for a little while) to free men from sin and bring them up above the angels with Him (we are speaking of the Church here). (Heb. 2:5-18)

I would say the difference here is that "Allah" is made by men...……. and The Lord created man. The one decides the nature of Allah...…. and the other revealed His nature to men.

Hey Douglas Summers, thanks a lot. I'm glad you make the distinction between God and the Son of man. I was just wondering concerning the appellation "Christ" and I have practically no Bible knowledge eh, but does it kinda stand for Jesus Criest (as in Lamentations?).

Thanks for considering to reply.

You tell God that it does not befit Him to become Man in order to save man.
God Does Not Need to become man in order to save man.

Man (women included here) needs to save his own self by

1. Recognizing The Existence of An Intelligence Superior to his own firstly which he will come to refer to as God firstly.
2. Recognizing his own weakness because he began as a baby and was even less than that prior to birth and so was his parents, making them practically same as him, except perhaps deserving more respect than his own self.
3. Seeking God's Protection simply against evil and by striving to do his best to become a better person as days go by.

Everybody is responsible for himself because God Gave us everything already. All we need is to ask from Him for whatever we need and be ever ready to help anybody at any time as best as we can. We also need to remain ever conscious of God as much as we can and we also need to fear His Anger lest we are actually earning His Disapproval without realizing it. Peace be to you, brother in humanity.

What is it that you believed that I assumed about anybody here, Red? (That's funny since one of my names is Rayiid, lol.) :) I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression though. I was only sharing my beliefs and opinions.

We do understand God as The Father except that the Law has changed. As you can perhaps remember me saying, people were much more prude and un-perverted during the days of Jesus. This is not the case during the era of Muhammad, The Last Prophet to come to mankind. That is why, so as to not attribute fatherly (such as sex, sexual activity, and male body members) features to God.

We are hearing from Allah, God, The Almighty, The Superior Intelligence, The Presence at each and every second. God Speaks to us through nature. God Speaks to us through man. Consider how what was merely a drop of ejaculated fluid, can now speak, think, smell, feel, and see. It is truly a miracle. Also consider the vastness of the sky and you can only just think that truly God Is Greater than that.

That is reasonable assumption.

And assumption is another word for guesswork.

If you are satisfied with guessing stuff about God so be it.

Everybody is responsible for himself because God Gave us everything already.
Sure we are responsible to live according to God's house rules.

But we got a problem with impostor gods.

Most people of the world do not know who God is because of all those impostors.

The full name of the second person of the Trinity is "Lord Jesus Christ". The first, "Lord" is His divine name. The second name, "Jesus" is His human name, And the third name, "Christ" is His official title. He was always the "Lord" (Heb. 1:10). In His incarnation as the babe of Bethlehem, He was "Jesus" (Matt. 1:21; 2:1). As son of David, He was born to Messianic rights. (Matt. 1:1; Luke 2:11). At His anointing with the Holy Spirit (Luke 3:21-22), He entered into His full ministry as the "Christ" or "Messiah" (Acts 10:38).
All the OT names are merged in to the name, "Lord Jesus Christ". The Hebrew, "Elohim, Jehovah, Adonai are all rendered Lord in the Greek NT word "Kurios and "Kurios" translated "Lord" as the divine name of Jesus in he NT. The Lord Jesus Christ is the God of the OT before He became the Babe in Bethlehem.....One example is 1 Cor. 10:1-5)

And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie or denies His verses?
Those will attain their portion of the decree until when Our messengers come to them to take them in death, they will say, "Where are those you used to invoke besides Allah ?"
They will say, "They have departed from us," and will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers. (Quran 7:37)

In Islam we have an angel calling himself Allah which is not a name but just a generic word for god. And so they do not know the name of their god as he only uses the generic term god about himself.

And in hindsight this proved pretty clever as people will believe you are god if you consequently call yourself god.

Now this god is in fact spoken of by the prophet Isaiah as one who would also sit on the mount of the congregation on the sides of the north which is where the Temple Mount is on Mount Zion. And what do we have there ? That's right two mosques for the god of Islam.

People are entitled to their own conjecture but be aware of the day of judgement where you will be questioned and can not say you were not exposed to the truth. May God guide all to his truth. Ameen.

Again you use a Jew who does not know that Jesus is the Messiah as an argument for Allah in Arabic being the same as Elah in Hebrew.

Semantically speaking Allah and Elah in those two languages are the same generic word which is translated into English as God.

But there ends the similarity between Allah and Elah as we get to know them through their respective books.

Also the Hebraic Elah or God has a personal name transliterated as YHWH whereas the Arabic Allah does not.

In other words both Allah and Elah call themselves God... but one is an impostor. And who is for you to figure out or not.

Good Luck.

I conquer fully with this, Hallelujah (Thanks and Praises Be To The One and Only UNIMAGINABLE God, Unto Whom no body and nobody can be likened in any way whatsoever).

I don't believe Jesus is God in any way. Jesus may be, at most, a Lord among men. God Is God, believed in by people who have no access to religion or scripture, deemed to be The Superior Intelligence Responsible for all of creation simply. It's really as simple as that. Peace be to you, brother in humanity.

Basing your theology/doctrine on english translations of the Bible not a good idea. Lord is a title, not a name. The same word that is translated as Lord in the OT is also used to describe the false God "Baal".

If Lord is not a title, but a name, why did Peter proclaim in Acts 2 that Jesus of Nazareth, was a man approved of God. he then said " God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ." If Jesus was pre-existant with the divine name of "Lord", how could God then make him Lord?

According to Peter, Jesus was given the titles of Lord and Christ by God himself, because he was obedient and approved by God. Lord and Christ are both titles that do not require "divinity" to possess.

Yes, disbelievers in a man made religion, but born again believers in the Creator. You have nothing but the writings of men. We have God Himself (His Spirit). You will never know God unless you seek Him in Spirit.....Until then, you might as well worship Balaam. The results will be the same for you.

If Lord is not a title, but a name,
The LORD is God! (Psalms 118:27) Lord is not used in the OT until he begins to deal with man. Up to Gen. 2:4, only the word God is used. After creation, "Lord God is used". Lord covers all the names God goes by, and every name gives an attribute of God= Jehovah, Adonai, Elohim are all rendered Lord. Lord is all that God is in Spirit and nature.
