Another classic example is the use of "fighting words". That is another limitation upon your "free" speech.
go on supporting that idiotic doctrine until the LGBTQIA community considers mis-gendering a person 'fighting words'.

It is not idiotic. It was enshrined by SCOTUS some 60-odd years go. Mis-gendering someone doesn't even come close, although I could imagine that in Bizzarro World it could become so.

If you're interested, the legal concept is explained at

https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/fighting_words

and other reputable sites. Notice the commonality in the definitions: words that are intended to incite violence.

Intent is the key. What did we used to call that? Mens rea? My Latin is rusty.

whether it was enshrined 60 years ago or last year, its wrong because there are NO words that anyone should use to justify for physical retaliation upon another. none. there is self-control and there is no self-control. that, along with personal responsibility for ones own actions, needs to be the ethical foundation of every person.

we are in the bizzaro clown world and it will be a key point that the opposition will use in future legislation. just recently, that NY professor from hunter(?) college who threw around the pamphlets of those pro-life kids, saying that their stand was 'inciting violence'. the left underscores that point every time when any opposing viewpoint is brought up.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/florida-passes-anti-semitism-bill-for-public-schools

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – A bill prohibiting anti-Semitism in Florida's public schools and universities is going to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.
The Senate unanimously passed the bill Monday, two days after a gunman opened fire in a California synagogue, killing one and injuring three others.
Lawmakers mentioned the shooting before passing the bill, which would mandate that discrimination against Jewish people be treated the same as acts of racial discrimination in public schools.
The bill also includes an extensive definition of anti-Semitism, including speech that makes dehumanizing or stereotypical allegations about the Jewish community.

The anti-Semitism definition also includes expressing hatred for Jews, calling for the killing or harming of a Jewish person, criticizing the collective power of the Jewish community, or accusing Jewish people or Israel of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.

this was our solution to the problem-reaction-solution of the synagogue bombing.

the fact that the state senate (dems and repubs) passed it together is bad news, so i am sure that the governor will sign it. our only hope is that it gets challenged and eventually is overturned in court.

great commentary on this:

Didn't Congress just pass a law that you can't criticize the tiny hats? The zero hedge article about this was accompanied by a picture of Lying Dog Pony Soldier kneeling in front of the leader of Tiny Hat Land.

Technically this falls under FBI.

This one is essential to their censorship endeavor.
