For a community as aware of symbolic meaning as VCF, I thought I would offer the symbolism of the newest ride opening at our local theme park on 17 March 2018 for examination and comment....

Is it me or does it seem a bit odd to want to plunge your kids into a giant burning effigy?!

@Ghostie
You've committed an unforgivable sin. Why on earth did you post that appalling remake with Nick Cage when you could have encouraged people to go and see the original cult classic with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee?!

I'm a bit slow when it comes to occult imagery (not having much interest in it!) but it struck me that there was more than a little similarity between "The Wicker Man" and "Burning Man" in terms of spiritual roots.

On one of the Burning Man "principles" The following logo appears amongst the others...

A cube and a unicursive hexagram. You've got to know these guys are on the wrong side ;-)
