The inverted cross is a known anti-Christian symbol, but the lightning? I mean there is a lightning bolt on this forum's menu does this mean VC is Satanic? I doubt it. Also I fail to see how pizza relates to the occult.

Still a very creepy looking company and I sure wouldn't eat their stuff.

Those photos are full of bible references and quotes so lightining really doesn't stand out in any way, even if it looks far fetched to you...

Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Je(z)us = zeus it's common theme in symbolism, Zeus as lucifer...And his symbol/signature is lightning...

For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

That's why the lightning is going from right to left (east to west). Just like with the Flash logo or Shazamflash.png

on a related note, I was out shopping and saw this in the freezer section: EVOL brand burritos, etc

https://www.evolfoods.com Who would buy this?

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

And I thought Sin in a Tin was pushing it.

@Red Sky at Morning

You may enjoy this article, that is fairly dripping with contempt for the Antichrist Ice Cream-- it suggests other, better shops in the vicinity with descriptives that make me almost wish I was in Toronto. ♡

Toronto's most overrated ice cream-- and where you should go, instead
.

Apparently the Sweet Jesus fare is pure, soft serve crap with a suggested 18% gratuity-- fitting isn't It?

I know I shouldn't be surprised - its the times we live in but I was chatting with one of the parents who I know from the sports club my kids go to and the topic turned to TV series - apparently "Lucifer" is really "smart and tongue in cheek"...

I once read a book called "The Marketing of Evil" and thought the title said it all!!!

This is a brilliant viral marketing campaign. Look at how much free exposure this company is getting.
The thought did occur to me! Look at them though - does anyone really eat that much!?

I don't think this kind of marketing "mood" is isolated to blasphemous Ice Cream brands, however...

Oh, it's definitely not isolated. Conspiracy theories are in right now, so lots of brands are using touches of occult or conspiracy language and symbols. Just a week or two ago there was an article on the front page of VC about the Taco Bell Belluminati.

Unbelievable!

Totally offensive, strange, and unsettling. However, isn't that par for the course these days? Who can shock the heck out of whom most? But for a marketing campaign...yeah...I don't doubt there's more than meets the eye here "no pun intended."

I did a little digging...seems the "Brainchild" behind this marketing is a man called Amin Todai, part of the marketing group "OneMethod." Seems they pride themselves on shock value....which they brand as ingenuity. https://onemethod.com/

Looks like they have a lot of financial backing coming from Dubai and Bangladesh --> "The company already has multi-unit deals in Dubai and Bangladesh and is working to bring Sweet Jesus to California, Florida and the U.K."

Here's where it gets more interesting - OneMethod was purchased by Bensimon Byrne - owners of Twitter. https://www.bensimonbyrne.com/people

Looks like if they can flood the media with their sick agenda they'll have success!

Great research! Doesn't surprise me at all... Reminds me of certain music artists who claim to be "ironic" in their use of satanic symbolism. The "banality of evil" strikes again!!

Well it seems they created the "brand" Drake - who's career shot to fame once he hired them - the symbolism around him is rife with references to secret societies and stuff.
