So sweden have skipped special buscards you buy and get a discount on for your bank card. Our buses have been cash free for years now and now they skipped the extra card aswell. This is an obvious step towards only using your bank card as an introduction to the coming chip that our railways have gotten. Our railways SJ uses an RFID-chip in your hand to scan so you dont have to pull out your ticket, because it's sooooo much work and you may lose it aswell. 
I think our buses are about to do the same and we also have newer houses where you lock up the door by numbers or a plastic plate you hold up to the reader/lock.
-I think its GREAT to have the chip, I love ALL companies that have anything to do with the chip.
They go on bragging about 1500-2000 of their travelers have the chip inplanted and that they dont need keyes or cards and it's practical and that theyre "first in the world to have chip-tickets".
