Stock markets continue to fall

Don’t read to much into it. We have had quite a streak of gains in the market. A huge correction was way over due.

I’m still making contributions to my 401k so a huge drop doesn’t bother me!

I'm starting to think that the PPT (Plunge Protection Team) will try and save this market again. It's up now.

Personally I don't invest in the stock market at all, not even for retirement. They've been pumping this bubble for way too long and a big crash could send the world into another great depression given the astronomical level of debt everywhere.

This is what Yellen (previous Federal Reserve chief) said about the stock market AFTER she was shown the door last friday:

"Well, I don't want to say too high. But I do want to say high," she said. "Price/earnings ratios are near the high end of their historical ranges."

In addition to elevated equity prices, Yellen also said commercial real estate is "quite high" compared with rents.

"Now, is that a bubble or is too high? And there it's very hard to tell. But it is a source of some concern that asset valuations are so high," she said."

Now she says this after all those years of QE (quantitative easing, or fancy term for creating money out of thin air).

So really are they that incompetent or do they lie just to remain in power? Sometimes I wonder...Even Allan Greenspan said that this is nothing more than a bubble, and he should know because he helped a lot in creating the last one.

ya it is controlled and shady - i was shocked it ended the day at -666 well ... 665.75 lol - i think THEY are signaling they/we are a step away from the beast system... let's say prayers for God to be with us

will be interesting to see how it goes this week - AND they have a way to pause the market drop if they want - and the did not on fri! wonder why
