My name (well- on here) is Etagloc and I am an introvert.

I would like to welcome all of you to the meeting for the Society for the Colonization of Antartica.

We are a part of the Introvert Nationalist Movement, seeking to establish a homeland for introverts.

We are a pan-introvert movement, meaning all introverts are welcome.

The meeting is now in session and we are open to suggestions.

Igloos, detached units or unit blocks?
There has to be very good sound insulation. I can't stand snoring or hearing people talk when I need peace and quiet. Which is always.

I assumed you would be 50% Extrovert, 50% Introvert.

hmmm... it sounds like you have superior people skills, being able to relate with both extremes.
That is a glass half-full, half-empty depending on how you look at it.
So you still believe an ambivert will drive you insane with all the chatterbox ways?))

It depends on whether you're a genuine ambivert or an Extrovert-needing-time-out.
Personally I would have no trouble with former, as you would fit in OK.
A burnt out Extrovert who returns to normal personal-interaction need levels could become very stressful for extreme introverts.

But why genuine? Why is the word even mentioned?
We can apply the same to all the introverts here, if they are genuine.
You're too extroverted.
Do you suspect me personally of being an extravert pretending to be someone else?

I am being half-serious. I am not referring to you personally.

Think of this proposed oasis from modern culture (where the Extrovert dominates pop culture, conversation and group dynamics), introverts finally only have to talk and interact in introverted manner, and then a fake introvert* turns up and tries to make it more "normal" i.e. extroverted, so they feel more comfortable again...

Should be laws against that on Introvert Colony. :)
Safe spaces for severely introverted, conversation zones, and socialation zones for ambiverts and "feeling friendly today" introverts.
What do you as an ambivert suggest for the socialisation zone?

* extrovert pretending to be introvert

Thank you for clearing that up))

I just asked if ambiverts are welcome or not))
In all honesty i don't know if i am an ambivert, i was reading about different definitions of an introvert from different people, i thought the Hans Jürgen Eysenck's explanation fitted my description most, but on other sources when i red about ambiverts, i thought that fitted me as well. I also done an online test and came up as ambivert..

I had a long thought, and if i was an ambivert, i wouldn't be living in a bubble)) - but i do) so thats why im probably not an ambivert)

So i don't even know what to suggest))
Sorry for confusing you
