Well he is definately old but not so sure about feeble. We have plenty of old people in politics and high positions.. that doesn’t necessarily mean anything.
I think a lot of it has do to with health more than age. I remember reading something about how Bernie exercised every day. I also remember Trump didn't want to release his medical records during the election. Trump is only 70 (oldest President) while Bernie would be 79 in 2018, but I think trump has Alzheimer's cuz he always wonders off as if he forgets where he is (like at the g20 summit)

I don't think he has time or age on his side despite his experience and views and I find that detrimental to any truly serious conversation about changing anything. At the same time, even if I was willing to participate in this charade, I can't think of anyone that could really make a difference because the people haven't had control of the government for awhile. Then of bigger dilemma arises of possible revolution and some other system being put in place. I'm personally tired of humans trying their best and people suffering for it and until we can actually create real change within ourselves it's asinine to look at these old decrepit figures of a corrupted system and expect anything.

The system was designed broken as far as I'm concerned and the people within it are broken. We are literal slaves to this machine being treated like slaves and being given the illusion of choice thinking were free. People want Bernie or some other figure, fucking great right? Let's stop sending Israel gross amounts of money, let's revise American history so people know what really happened, let's get people free comprehensive health and mental care, create system that doesn't require money, yadda yadda yards.

We can't even change ourselves when we're being poisoned and allowed to succumb to base selves. We're told this is freedom to fuck like rabbits and spread diseases and ruin other people's lives, to be whatever we want if that means being a man/woman or an assault helicopter or whatever. People are so indoctrinated and checked out from this life but still think someone can save them from their poverty, illness, unhappiness, etc. They aren't entirely wrong but those that can won't and prefer to amass wealth, technology, and knowledge and control every facet of us lesser humans existence. I don't have faith inn Bernie or anyone because we've progressively gotten worse yet think were better than our ancestors and suffer the same injustices just painted up differently each generation.

I never knew how old Trump was lol. We delve into the realm of the absurd when man that age behaves the way he does. Shit what hope is there for the younger people

Bernie Sanders should be the next president of the US.

Reading through his "issues", I agree with most of his ideas. The country is declining is so many ways and we need correct action. I'd like to know what sensible American could disagree with more than a few of his proposals? https://berniesanders.com/issues/

-Enact a responsible, comprehensive foreign policy
-Criminal justice reform
-Revitalizing rural America
-Demand that the wealthy, large corporations, and Wall street pay their fair share in taxes
-Real Wall street reform
-Fair banking for all
-Health care for all
-Jobs for all
-College for all
-Empower tribal nations
-Empower the people of Puerto Rico
-Fight for disability rights
-Fight for fare trade and workers
-Fight for working families
-Fight for women's rights
-Fight for LGBTQ equality
-Meet our commitment to our veterans
-Expand social security
-Combat climate change and pass a "Green New Deal"
-Gun safety
-Immigration reform
-Reinvest in public education and teachers
-Get big money out of politics and restore democracy

If Sanders will get elected, it won’t even be a symbolic victory. Sanders isn’t even really a socialist, let alone revolutionary. He’s a reformist. He could make the country bit of a better place, the Democrats don’t fight him to death... But in the end, he’s another cog in the machine. He might be able to make it run better but it won’t fix the problem.

Mind you, something like that does need to happen to get people to mobilize.

Personally I’m leaning towards warren at this point... her plans actually make sense. I love sanders but Idk.

I’m well aware it’s all a game/facade but I will play along nominally anyway on the off chance

I agree with you, he’s good for American politics, but that is an insanely low bar. I think he’s worth supporting because if even some of his platform is passed it will alleviate the suffering of people and I always think that’s worth it.

I think there’s an opportunity to revive the labor movement under his Presidency and use that as a real vehicle for change. Real change will come outside of electoral politics but it is a reality that we have to deal with.

For example we can’t let the most powerful cult leader in human history have a second term.

Warren is my second choice, Bernie has a more trustworthy past and I think he runs better against Trump.

I saw a WSJ article a while back that the high rollers didn’t want Sanders or Warren. I’d be ok with her as President but I fear they just split each other and allow a Biden or any of the Obama clones.

Worst case scenario though is if Warren or Sanders lose to Trump, of course it will be blamed on nominating someone so “far to the left”

bernie, even though he is another old, white male, has the best shot against trump... just like in 2016.
run him with a minority or female vice presidential candidate.
biden loses against trump.

Had Bernie Sanders gotten the nomination, he would have beat Trump. The fact that the Dems rigged the process to get Clinton the nomination shows that those who buy up both sides of the aisle wanted Trump to win. Otherwise, you can't really explain the Dems ticking off their base to put Clinton on the ticket. Clinton, after all, is Republican lite -- not really a liberal. She was a Goldwater girl back when being uber liberal was actually cool. That says all you need to know about how "liberal" she really is.

Bernie Sanders is too old now, though. And there is no chance he'll get the nomination anyway. It is clear from the media narrative that Biden is the #1 pick. Biden is also too old and he has the whole "creepy Uncle Joe" thing which is honestly valid and should be reason enough for the Dems to kick him to the curb. Back up plan seems to be Kamala Harris. Better than Biden, but still not someone I'd pick. If they pick Biden, though, there is no way I'd cast a vote for them. I'll vote 3rd party again.

I'd actually be shocked if Trump didn't win re-election. I'm convinced that those with deep pockets who buy up both sides of the aisle actually love Trump and want him right where he is because he has been able to deliver everything that they want and there doesn't seem to be anything that he can do that will cause enough of a backlash to pose an impeachment threat. Just like with GW Bush, they have the whole "idiot president" narrative that they can run with so that you think all these "screw ups" are just Trump being stupid when in reality he is doing exactly what they want. All I know is that they must have some pretty good dirt on him to get him to so easily agree to what they want, even stuff that is actually against the interests of the US -- like working on starting a war with Iran which Trump is pushing despite the fact that it risks starting WW3 to do so. And since we already know about the playboy playmates, the grabbing women by the pu$$y thing, the alleged r*pe of a 13 year old whom he told reminded him of his daughter, and the golden showers -- it has got to be bad. If that is not the worst of it, I shudder to think what that man has been involved in.

The only person who doesn't have a chance to beat Trump is Biden, which is why it is pretty much guaranteed he will get the nomination. Their strategy seems to involve moving to right in order to win those elusive "undecided" and "moderate" voters rather than motivating their base (who reliably get out and vote) with a candidate they can enthusiastically support. Already the Dems of today are the political equivalent of the Repubs of my youth. The Repubs have veered so far to the right that they are pretty much knocking on the door of fascism. So, we aren't going to be getting any liberal Presidents ever. Not by voting Democratic, anyway.

Yeah that Bernie is a radical, far left revolutionary lol.

I don't know much about Warren's campaign but it looks like they would make a great pres/vice-pres.

As for the opinions, "it's all meaningless, it's show, the puppet-masters will always run things." I kind of disagree. People are at different stations of life. We can be inspired to break away from world news and politics... but still have respect to those who are involved with society. Most people care about each other and believe in fairness. We have a voice to support what we think is right- it's only natural to use it.

I don't buy that Sanders is just a pawn of the illuminati. He's a 77 year old career US politician who's been out in the open with his "agenda" his whole career. I have my criticisms but I think he and Warren are a voice of sanity in a lake of delusions. I could care less he's white or Jewish. In fact it proves for me again that the core of Judaism has nothing to with zionism.

If Sanders is railroaded by the democratic party again then we'll know he's a threat to the billionaire tycoons.

mike gravel (D) interview. he says directly that 9/11 was an inside job and wants another independent investigation.

i am wondering what the angle is here. i cannot believe 'they' would allow someone to run who is a truther.

First, I want to say that I have a lot of respect for Mike Gravel, Pentagon Papers is legendary and he generally speaks truth to power on foreign policy, but he is also a rube with LaRouche connections who has been associated with some unsavory characters to say the least.

Anyway no one is “allowing” him to run, it’s an Internet meme campaign run by a few teeenagers with the goal of geeting Mike onto the debate stage to speak about foreign policy and generally push the debate “to the left”.

He didn’t qualify for the first round, still a possibility he makes the second set of debates (outside chance).

If he actually gets to the debate he will be cornered on 9/11 questions and given 30 seconds to answer, he’ll be made to appear crazy and be used as a weapon to stop the party from nominating a leftist.
