Perhaps they will further expand upon their position...Yeah I was wondering about that too.

Hi(I don't know if someone already made a thread on this matter, just thought I would post this.)
"Criminalization makes sex workers more vulnerable to violence, including r*pe, assault, and murder, by attackers who see sex workers as easy targets because they are stigmatized and unlikely to receive help from the police. Criminalization may also force sex workers to work in unsafe locations to avoid the police.
Criminalization consistently undermines sex workers’ ability to seek justice for crimes against them.
They said that they are afraid of being arrested because their work is illegal and that their experience with police is of being harassed or profiled and arrested, or laughed at or not taken seriously. "
"Does decriminalizing sex work encourage other human rights violations such as human trafficking and sexual exploitation?
Sex work is the consensual exchange of sex between adults. Human trafficking and sexual exploitation are separate issues. They are both serious human rights abuses and crimes and should always be investigated and prosecuted."
"Governments should fully decriminalize sex work and ensure that sex workers do not face discrimination in law or practice. They should also strengthen services for sex workers and ensure that they have safe working conditions and access to public benefits and social safety nets."

Hi, in my opinion the absolutely horrific, extremely traumatizing, and evil act of kidnapping ANY human being against their will by greedy, cruel, and (pure evil) perpetrators for the mere sake of making money by forcing these victims to be RAPED continuously (several times a day) by various “johns” (paying “clients”), the perps themselves, as well as physically & emotionally abusing, threatening, forcing them to become addicted to an array of powerful narcotics, as well as holding them hostage (sex trafficking) must be a never ending nightmarish “existence” for the victim. I have watched raw interviews with the (lucky & blessed) survivors of this unspeakable crime; which is motivated by power, intimidation, torture, & greed. The individuals responsible for choosing to force people into sexual slavery against their will should be…(well..I will spare everyone the details of the punishment I would love to see them endure; I’ll end with that). The interviews with the (mostly women & girls) who were forced to endure this both harrowing & barbaric abuse brought me to tears…The issue here for me is..where are these heartless men who know the situation of these victims; yet make the choice to seek out these “forced services,” and pay money to r*pe these victims. This is not just a low-grossing “industry…” Just as the disgusting “industry” of “child pornography” (the poor kids are usually kidnapped, and also sadly their own demented & hateful “parents” choose to heartlessly exploit them behind closed doors, video tape them torturing their own kids (I read the name of the perverse genre is called “Hurtcore,”) and sell the evil, f**ked up videos for profit. I believe I read this is a billion dollar so called “business..” Peter Scully was doing this..(Google at your own risk..) The country he did this in was so horrified they were going to reinstate the death penalty for this twisted b**tard! BUT…by “a very strange coincidence” all of the evidence against him was “accidentally burned up in a fire!” Bullsh*t!! The sad truth is that money talks, and there has to be a “want” (not NEED) in society for such “products” (I say products sarcastically..human beings are NOT products to be sold against their will & exploited…then, when they have no use for these victims anymore..(and if they are not rescued, escape, etc..) the inevitable tragically occurs. Death.(I don't know if someone already made a thread on this matter, just thought I would post this.)

You right. Also even on Amazon Prime there are hundreds of movies of women being tortured or trafficking or slasher movies. Some pretend to be " documentaries " but it's just exploitation. And then there are all the slasher movies which are girls being killed. Ted Bundy himself said in an interview that was what started him off was some porn he found in the trash when he was a kid. To be honest I would be afraid to go outside if I was a girl. My advice to females is always carry a deadly weapon and don't trust anyone especially males. I hate to say it but I can see why there are so many lesbians around.Hi

Its astounding/heartbreaking/enraging to learn that in his final days, Ted Bundy came clean and issued a dire warning about not only porn but other media which promotes sexual violence towards females and the effects it has on people... only to have many of the same "outraged" liberal/conservative voices suddenly dovetail into denial of his horrific, yet undeniable truth. You right. Also even on Amazon Prime there are hundreds of movies of women being tortured or trafficking or slasher movies. Some pretend to be " documentaries " but it's just exploitation. Can you read or are you trolling ?You find "hetero sex" inherently degrading and violent... but not homosexual activity? Especially male homosexuality? Talk about selective outrage lol
I didn't say violent, I didn't mention homosexuality anywhere, learn how to read. This topic is about sex work, most of the clients are male, and most of the sex workers are female.find hetero sex inherently degrading
Anyone can read your words. You oppose "hetero" sex unless it conforms to your own personal interpretation of what it should be and have made no secret that you believe it to be a predatory act instead of a consensual exchange. You dont feel the same regarding homosexuality. All I did was ask for clarification of that stance which you now semi-deny.Can you read or are you trolling ?

You reduced my well thought-out, well written post to one sentence that made you uncomfortable. Reacting to words and isolated phrases instead of general meaning.Anyone can read your words.
I don't "oppose" hetero sex lol (what does that even mean?). I stated I wouldn't engage in it myself, that opinion engages only me.You oppose "hetero" sex unless it conforms to your own personal interpretation of what it should be
You're conflating apples and oranges and seem to be oversimplifying my statements because you can't handle nuance. And are also dragging what I wrote in another thread onto this one, after I told you "have a nice day" to end the conversation.and have made no secret that you believe it to be a predatory act instead of a consensual exchange.
The last comments on this thread have been arguing that men pose a threat to women's safety. One man even claimed he would be afraid to even go outside if he was a woman, so I'm not being irrational by making these claims. But I think r*pe fantasies in males is due to biology. Even in the animal species, the most primal way to exert control/dominion over another creature is to mount them by force, generally a female but sometimes even a weaker male. Even in prison, the r*pe of other male inmates is used to establish some form of hierarchy, the weaker, less dominant males are the betas, the ones getting penetrated. The act of penetration in itself is violent without its social significance.
Unfortunate for your argument, but most people who oppose abortion are women (a majority); as opposed to an outspoken fringe of radical pro-abortion psychos and dupes. It is a majority of women who are voting to limit abortion, not men.And with the abortion bans, and the prohibition of birth control, it reenforces the notion that men view women as broodmares and refuse to give them bodily autonomy.
You typed a bunch of new words to try and excuse the older words which you already posted. You reduced my well thought-out, well written post to one sentence that made you uncomfortable. Reacting to words and isolated phrases instead of general meaning.

And yes, sex can and does contribute to a patriarchal society and the power division men have over women.
Women are much more prone to feel pain, much at risk to get and develop a disease/infection, and to finish there's the risk of unwanted pregnancy. Not to mention, sexual violence is prevalent, so you could well end up with one of these sexual predators/rapists. Not to mention the social stigma and being treated as disposable if you're a sex worker/ engage in hookup culture. Men also get way more pleasure during sex and are way more likely to orgasm, it's called the orgasm gap. And with the abortion bans, and the prohibition of birth control, it reenforces the notion that men view women as broodmares and refuse to give them bodily autonomy. The risk of unwanted pregnancy is even higher. This belief that women are brood mares is especially prevalent in religious spaces (coincidentally there are a lot of religious chauvinists on this forum)I feel pity for straight women. But again that's not my problem and they make a conscious decision.

hm, women can and do act against their best ineterests all the time. A bunch of white women voted for Trump despite him being a misogynist. And most of the misogyny/misogynistic abuse I've received here was from other women.Unfortunate for your argument, but most people who oppose abortion are women (a majority); as opposed to an outspoken fringe of radical pro-abortion psychos and dupes. So with the majority of women taking a pro-life position, it would appear abortion has nothing to do with body autonomy or WOMEN’S rights: Just some fringe group using the Marxist oppression matrix to demand special privileges in an attempt to get something for nothing—the typical feminist trope.
They haven't yet, but that's the next step.Where has birth control been prohibited?
To my knowledge, only Catholics (not to be confused with Christians, Protestants) forbid the use of birth control within the confines of marriage.
The point is, abortion has nothing to do women’s rights. If it did, more women would support it. However, support for abortion remains higher among men than women. Why do you think that is?hm, women can and do act against their best ineterests all the time. A bunch of white women voted for Trump despite him being a misogynist. Overturning Roe Could Lead to Restrictions on Birth Control
Access to copper IUDs and the morning-after pill arguably are not 'deeply-rooted' in American traditiontime.com
Touche...The point is, abortion has nothing to do women’s rights. If it did, more women would support it. However, support for abortion remains higher among men than women. Why do you think that is?
More men than women are fighting for the capability to abort babies. It would appear more men are affected by not being able to abort than are women—as the largest number of anti-abortion people are women.
If there are more pro-choice men than women, and more men than women are fighting to keep a federal mandate on abortion, then doesn’t that make it the opposite of a women’s rights issue, considering, as a group, the pro-choice men outnumber the women, and rather than women, men appear more affected and more invested in abortion?

Do you also agree that ethnic minorities can be racist?

I think it was Hillary who originally made the observation... I've heard it before as "voting against their own interests."

Are you posing the question to me or to greenleaf?

And since you have so much to offer to this forum and make so many useful and constructive observations that demonstrate your critical thinking abilities and intellect.
