Satan is Hebrew, and means "the Opposer". Satan was exiled from the Morning Star for opposing God in his failed coup to try to overthrow God.

Christ said He will give those who overcome Satan the Morning Star as their reward. Christ would never be giving anyone Satan, whom Christ came to destroy (1 John 3:8; Rev. 20:10).

Revelation 2:25-28
2:25 But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come.
2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

The reason for the confusion is because Lucifer, who became the devil (liar) and Satan (the Opposer) when he raised an army and fought against God, was likewise one of the sons of God on the Morning Star, as were all of the angels (spiritual-Beings, "stars" of heaven) who fought with him in the war against God.

The sons of God, inhabitants from the Morning Star (including Lucifer/Satan):-

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the "I AM", and Satan came also among them.

Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the "I AM", and Satan came also among them to present himself before the "I AM".

The world is literally awash with satanic foods, which have not only been labeled as such (like the "Monster" drinks mentioned above), but are filled with poisons, in the form of artificial sweeteners (e.g. aspartame, a known neurotoxin), artificial fats and oils (e.g. rapeseed/canola), artificial colors, and artificial flavor enhancers (e.g. msg). So this is a great topic for discussion, to hopefully help others avoid these toxic products and ingredients.

That's why i stick why the KJV. Other versions confuse the issue and equate Jesus with Lucifer!
