Is anyone else just generally fed up with EVERYTHING we lay our eyes on? Gone are the days that I could sit down and simply enjoy a movie without the fear of indoctrination or an agenda being pushed. I scroll through my Netflix account now simply just to shut it off because I don’t trust anything anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions on feel good tv shows and/or reliable media sources you enjoy watching? Thanks in advance.

Honestly just find what suits you.
Everything these days has an agenda etc.

I overlook all that now.
Like clothing for instance. I grew up on nike and jordan.
So now that I have some money left over to spend on me. I’ll treat myself to a nike spree once a month. Shoes, shirt, compression gear etc.

It’s just something that gives me “oomph” in my mind.
So depending how you choose to approach media. Try to overlook the agenda

keep your eyes out for independent/non-hollywood movies. if you have to watch a regular movie, make it into a learning experience, watching for symbolism and hidden propaganda.
shows....
i liked this:
SECRETS OF THE CASTLE WITH RUTH, PETER AND TOM S1 • E1Secrets of the Castle: Why Build A Castle? | Episode 1 | (Medieval Documentary) | Timeline

there was a few series of farm life with ruth, peter, and tom which initially captured my interest. start with the tudor monastery farm (loved it). great stuff, clean (no propaganda), and entertaining.

Food network and hgtv, theyre mindless.
yes, but...
the food they show on food network is often not healthy. they dont discuss GMOs and MSG, etc. other things are sometimes slipped in, whether you notice it or not. why dont they have a show on gathering wild food from the woods? hgtv... i dont watch tv, but id be far more impressed if they had a permaculture show. or even a permaculture channel.

Those types of shows would be great. But when I just want to zone out and not think the channels I gave are good enough. I’ve watched survival shows and shit but it doesn’t calm my nerves at all.

FINALLY we can agree. theres a way to use your TV monitor to watch stuff from your laptop or computer. if you can do it, try watching this guy:
its great seeing how people garden in the US and in different countries. no agenda, unless you consider organic an agenda. the guy somehow relaxes you. im not sure why!

Thanks for the reminder - I used to watch John's videos just for the entertainment - he is so enthusiastic - it's contagious and enjoyable!

Thanks. And idk why your so surprised we’ve agreed on things in the past even if it’s been rare it’s not like it’s never happened

also I just started a garden and was almost horrified my husband bought non-organic plants lol. He tried. There’s always next year:)

They're likely not gmo and in a nursery setting there would be little need for round-up. Whatever was used will most likely be able to be cleaned out during the growing season. I would think your biggest concerns are chemical fertilizer (flush out with water and organic fertilizer) and hybrid (just don't save the seeds). Happy gardening!

At least you've got the insight to know it IS attempted indoctrination .. :D
It's the poor slobs who DON'T KNOW they're being brainwashed and indoctrinated who we should feel sorry for.
TV soaps are among the worst because weak-willed people think they've got to behave like the dimwitted characters in them.

I do the same. I do a lot of wrestling and BJJ and so compression stuff is awesome. But sometimes I feel I get carried away and now I have way too much lol.

Entertainment nowadays is garbage.
The only entertainment I get is from watching YouTube videos from individuals, all youtube channels owned by companies are extremely boring and sometimes nauseating to watch, with content like "Guess who she had sex with" and "Men watch porn with their favorite pornstar".
Even video games aren't safe, unless you count indies from developers you trust, don't trust a lot of big publishers unless they have a good track record. Not all huge companies are bad, but the majority are. If in doubt, put research into the team, and if something seems off, don't buy from them.
Good content is stuff like people debunking clickbait top-10 videos and original animation projects, as well as people showing what they're working on.

I have too much as well. My wife lets me do my once a month spending sprees for myself. I feel like I deserve lol.

I do a lot of boxing here. Compression really does keep the muscles warm

I started watching Tudor Monastery today! Great stuff especially because I’m super into farming lately! Thank you!
