Couldn't find another thread for this kind of stuff, hopefully Ive not missed it and posted a pointless double post lol

My first recommendation is 12 Monkeys the TV Series. Its based on the original film which is about James Cole travelling back through time to try and find out who released a virus that kills billions of people in the future, the series goes much deeper though and thats all Im going to say for now cause I dont want to ruin it, its really good though. Theres two seasons out already and the next one is coming on the syfy channel I think later in May but rather than have to wait and watch one episode a week, the whole series is being played over a weekend so no need to wait too long, cant actually wait to see it its one of my favorite things right now apart from GoT.

Have actually watched a lot of series especially stuff on netflix in the last 6 months or so, they have had some pretty good sci fi stuff on. Went through a bit of a horror phase but got a bit fed up with horrors, after a while they are all the same.

Ive not watched as many documentaries for a while cause there havent been too many good ones out recently and Ive had enough of UFO, ancient aliens, cult documentaries, murder documentaries or as I call it these days murder porn (blame south park for that)

Netflix has had some good films on in recent months too, Spectral was pretty good, liked that.

Did like some of the Through the Wormhole episodes. Theres a new thing started too called Dimension 404 bit like the Twilight Zone/Outer Limits kinda short stories, also if you haven't already watch Black Mirror, all of them are good, thought the last series was really good too, it was on Channel 4 in the UK before but they never renewed it so its on Netflix now.

How about Young And Hungry? It's a typical comedy like show but it's still a cute show. If you're into horror still, there's a remake of Carrie that came out recently that has Chloe Moretz in it.

If you're into some sci-fi, have you seen the movie "Edge of Tomorrow"? It was a Tom Cruise movie I actually enjoyed watching.

For any series to watch, right now I'm in the midst of watching "Justified" with Tim Olyphant and Walton Goggins. Too bad the series has ended but I've read where there might be a spin-off series. As well, you might already know this one since you're in the UK but have you watched "Line of Duty" with Martin Compton? Here in Canada, we've only been privy to the first three seasons, but they're enough for me to want to eagerly wait for the next two. If you haven't seen it, all I can say, without giving too much away is I'll never see cerulean blue the same way again!

Westworld for shizzle lol really good series, had actually watched the original film a cpl months before for the first time ever, my wee brother was living with us for almost a year so we watched it together lol and then the series came out and I was hooked straight away, loved the music in it, so funny hearing Radiohead, Soundgarden and loads of other great tunes played on the old west piano lol totally brilliant though.

Also Humans is pretty good too, the UK version I watched and also Utopia was a good seriest too, another UK series although they never renewed it for the third season I think it was, which sucked cause I really wanted to see where it was gonna go next.

I have recently started watching Mad Men. It is really well written and I find it to be an insightful look into how much the world has changed for women in less than a hundred years. It just amazes me.

I think I may have seen it, it rings a bell lol I watch so much stuff cause I dont really go out so I get a bit mixed up with some of them cause of the names but yeaaaaaah 12 Monkeys I cant wait, its the 21st am sure it starts on syfy channel but its on over 3 days so Friday, Saturday then Sunday I cant wait to see it especially how it ended in the last one, I have my suspicions the witness may already be among them or have been among them at some point. I have a feeling its gonna be one of those predestination paradoxes but we will see, really cant wait its brilliant!!

Deadwood was the best show on HBO. Or maybe that old prison show "Oz". Yes. Oz was raw. It has everything terrible you can imagine happen inside jail. But it probably didn't age well.
