Do not the old and undesirable restrictions on the complete freedom of choice of residence for the Russian commoner, to which the government has long drawn attention, still continue to this day, remaining from serfdom times?

As for the Jews, it is evident that their rights to choose their place of residence have been greatly extended in the last twenty years. At least, they appeared in Russia in places where they had not been seen before. But Jews still complain of hatred and oppression. Even if I am not firm in my knowledge of Jewish life, I already know one thing for sure and will argue with everyone, namely, that there is no prejudiced, a priori, stupid, religious hatred of the Jew in our common people, such as: "Judas, they say, sold Christ."
