I always wondered WHY the Enemy and his progeny would even attempt to overthrow God... they know better than anyone that it is impossible.

Fairly recently, I watched (or read) a better explanation. We know Satan is the Accuser of the Brethren-- the Adversary and the Prosecutor. The author suggested the he may try to do it legally. That is, within the bounds of God's Law... outsmart Him or find a loophole (see: Dogma, movie).

That explains why the Sacrifice was absolutely necessary for Payment of the legal debt incurred by Sin. There are Rules, and they must be followed. It is referenced in pop culture, literature, music, etc.

Last night my wife and I discussed what these massive political changes might mean for prophecy. So much is happening it can be hard to sift through the noise, but in my estimation, here are a few takeaways:

• The way is being paved for a peace deal superficially advantageous to Israel so they'll bite—it's now or never
  
  
• The veil is finally being lifted on monumental levels of wickedness and corruption all over the world
  
  
• Hearts, true allegiances, and hypocrisy are being exposed like never before
  
  
• Fence sitters are now being forced to choose sides in regards to the culture wars, Christianity, and most importantly—the Gospel (think Rev. 3:14–20; how does an omnipresent God spew unbelievers out of His mouth?)
  
  
• We are witnessing a last minute presentation of the Gospel to a worldwide audience as the signs in the heavens and the political resurgence of Christianity force people to deal with the message and Person of Jesus Christ

The resurgence of conservatism and political Christianity has also enraged many political elements, throwing them into a frenzy. After the rapture, when many of their political opponents disappear, they will quickly sweep back to power, but will have vengeance and blood in mind. They'll give their authority to the beast without a thought.

I know a good many Christians from across the political spectrum. I'm not saying anything about Bolsonaro being "my kind of guy", and as to whether he turns out to be a Christian or faux-Christian, we shall know him by his fruits.

Both Trump and Bolsonaro may be born again believers, but equally they may be catching the current "right" leaning wave to gain power. If this turns out to be the case and if both politicians ultimately fail and draw disgrace upon themselves, I predict a hard swing to the left and the beginning of real persecution in the West. On the other hand, what do I really know about people's real motivations.

The fact that events mimicking prophecy is not surprising. I have been saying this for years. There is an influential group in Washington known as The Fellowship or The Family. They believe it is their duty to prepare the world for the return of Christ and have been manipulating events to this affect for decades.
Mike Pence is a member, and that is why we have been seeing what have during this administration.

Along the way he has granted a mere handful of interviews, none of which have provided much in substance of a plan that has, up until now, remained the administration’s most closely guarded secret.

But we’re about to see a lot more of Jared Kushner. As he puts the finishing touches on a project he hopes to be his crowning achievement in government, Kushner is preparing to sell it to the public.

State Department sources tell The Jerusalem Post that Kushner recently visited Foggy Bottom to begin preparing for a more public role centered on the plan. Moving into the spotlight would be a relatively new format for the prodigal son-in-law, who has rarely spoken in public since entering the White House. While Trump is likely to announce the plan in a formal speech, Kushner is expected, from that point on, to serve as the public face of the peace effort.
