We are not 'three parts', we are a Soul in a Body.

Plus a comparison between Genesis 1&2 shows that the "image" is a reference to Ruach (Spirit/Breath) and not physical appearance.
"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."
Nope 3 parts you forgot the spirit which died see genesis When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they died spiritually. Which is probably why you don't understand as you don't have a spirit in you, your a walking corpse in essence. God promised to give a new spirit to His people (Ezek 36:26) see acts the coming of the HOLY SPIRIT for those that believe. Otherwise your just corrupted flesh or as a modern term "DEAD MAN WALKING!!!"

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

You have not exegetically justified your "three parts" you have only claimed it, there is a difference. I gave you proof of the correct interpretation of 1:26 from the corresponding passage in Genesis with the Hebrew. I expect that if you are correct, that you will have a more convincing argument instead of just a claim.

LOL your with out the spirit plan and simple you do not profess Salvation through CHRIST so you don't see your already dead without HIS spirit but that's ok still time. -

The spirit died that ADAM had that's part 1 of it : (that's why you only understand the soul & body concept the SPIRIT is given freely for those that believe) Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

You are supposed to be answering an exegetical question to your initial claim. Throwing in strawmen and distractions like this do not work in your favor. Changing the topic to something that has nothing to do with me is also very bad look on your part.

When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they died spiritually and sin corrupted their body, so that it too began to die.

That's two parts we clear on that or do you need more until the 3rd part is discussed?

You're trying to discuss completely different topics to our initial topic which was:

so we are three parts but GOD who said i created you in my image isn't hmmm....
Stay on topic please, what you're doing is easy to see.

title of that thread 'ancient jews used to worship Jesus'
in the video, the guy shows a 3rd to 4th century synagogue and says 'they worshipped here'.
Ancient... from 500 AD lol. The entire presentation was pretty embarrassing, filled with misinformation and what came across as rehearsed emotion.

Christianity is messianic Judaism. Stories from the book of Acts makes it clear the first followers of Jesus were Jews, assembling at the Church in Jerusalem (which was a Synagogue, duh). There's a plethora of historical writings describing the earliest Judaeo-Christian sects like the Ebionites, Nazarenes, Mandaens, et al., really a fascinating period.

Knowing this it's painful to listen to a guy reaching so hard to imagine something that wasn't. I did a small search on the web and no other writing equates the community in Susya with Christianity. Above the delusional, forced visions from the Apocalypse of John, the real story here is about Byzantine Judaism- the late stages of what you've spoken about, namely the Hellenic era. This Haaretz article says more in one sentence than the whole 10 minute video. It even mentions your man Philo! Not trying to blow smoke but it affirms a lot of what you've said:

https://www.haaretz.com/archaeology/.premium-the-metamorphosis-of-the-sun-god-in-ancient-synagogues-in-israel-1.9157775

What are the zodiac and other images doing in those bastions of monotheism? The answer lies in a Judaism we don’t know anymore

...These shuls and their mosaics only seem strange when compared to the later synagogues of Rabbinic Judaism, but they are perfectly in line with the Roman cults of the period. Indeed, Hellenistic Judaism is best understood as a Roman cult.

...Prayer and reading of scripture was in Greek, not Hebrew. The practices and beliefs were also very different, if we take the writing of the first-century philosopher Philo as representative. Though lacking any central leadership, the rituals probably varied quite a bit from community to community. Also, a synagogue was headed not by a rabbi but by an archisynagogos (“head of the synagogue”) and a council of elders (presbyteroi).

Ok they called them ancient too haha. The word describes an extinct culture which actually applies to Hellenic Judaism. The info is wild though- the multilingual inscriptions, the fact all the Palestinian Syngogues were centered with the zodiac is revealing of a mixed culture far removed from Rabbinical dominance.

This a preview of a book specifically on the imagery from that period. I trust this research more than a wannabe mystic:

Art and Architecture of the Synagogue in Byzantine Palaestina

It's interesting how quickly Islam replaced this quasi-pagan religious expression. There was obviously a longing for a strictly plain version of monotheistic worship.

No surprise but the episode of attacks from the perverse Israeli occupiers on the native inhabitants is an ongoing situation. The wiki entry is sympathetic toward the Palestinian Resistance:

I'm glad I learned a tiny bit about the subject but man you've got to have pity on Christian Zionists. To lack any knowledge of history, correct interpretation of current events, and the ability to synthesize reality into a healthy vision for the future is tragic. There's 10's of millions of materialistic, indoctrinated souls chasing after mirages; this video was a perfect example. We all need to wake up to reality.

Looooool.

Correct interpretation. U just said the first Christians were messianic Jews then denied Christian links to judaism your full of convulution to fit your anti Israel agenda.

Yes the monotheistic Jews died for a belief in a Jesus on par with the father. Accept it and move on. Do u then understand what that means....

Beside the jews...remember the wise men (magi) from the east?

Matthew 2:1-2 - Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

Matthew 2:11-12 - And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Not only God let these wise men worship Jesus Christ his only begotten son, but God himself warned these wise men in a dream not to return to King Herod.
