I love music history documentaries.

I had some sympathy with the claims of Wendy and Lisa that they were part contributors to the creation of Purple Rain, an utter classic song. They demonstrated that they are excellent musicians.

But so was Prince. An outstanding guitarist.

So I was about to conclude, feeling sad, that it was just a typical band fall out.

Then this happened. The conclusion.

Sorry, I had trouble with footage. Had to settle for a gif here. But it's enough. This after 60 mins of build up documentary footage to make Prince a "user of all those background staff". Utter nonsense. I'm not even a fan of Prince's music but I know he's a musical genius. He is indeed a legend. Like other music legends, and vocal heroes that threaten the establishment , the US put them down.

Nothing wrong with a bit of humour amigo.

I'm STILL cracking up trying find a way to share 30 seconds of footage. I've even uploaded to "giphy.com" only to find I have no way of finding my upload.

I give up. They win.

Never give up Mark!

I just thought of a great quote from "Lord of the Rings"...

"Frodo: I can't do this, Sam.

Sam: I know. It's all wrong. By rights we shouldn't even be here. But we are. It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness, and danger, they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end, because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing, this shadow. Even darkness must pass. A new day will come. And when the sun shines, it'll shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you. That meant something. Even if you were too small to understand why. But I think, Mr. Frodo, I do understand. I know now. Folk in those stories had lots of chances of turning back only they didn't. They kept going. Because they were holding on to something.

Frodo: What are we holding on to, Sam

Sam: That there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo...and it's worth fighting for.

Oohh.. i utterly despise creatures like you.
I am a bit mad and out there, but with a concern for the betterment of everyone.

You're just an ego driven moron.

You're the type that become a monster in a successful fascist society and creates dystopias.

Because you don't like folk asking questions.

You're the Goebbels of modern society, and I can assure you, its not just online where you make people's skin crawl.

You're a bad one.

Thank you Mecca.

Very kind of you to help me there.

For what it's worth, I read you defending veganism recently very fairly and objectively against a tirade of angry carnivorous-ness, while maintaining a position of wise objectivity.

I like the honest cut of your gib.
