What is premillennialism? It is the view that Christ will return before the millennium of Revelation 20, and will rule the earth for that time.

Does the Bible say anything about a future earthly millennial kingdom in the Bible? The simple answer to that question is “no it does not.”

There is not a single mention of any earthly millennial kingdom in the Old Testament nor in the gospels. In all Jesus' teachings in the Bible, He never once mentions it. There is not a single mention of a millennial kingdom in any New Testament epistle.

The only place in the entire Bible where you will find any reference to a thousand year reign of Christ is found in Revelation 20:4-6, and that reign will be in heaven with the saints.

The Saints Reign with Christ 1,000 Years

"And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

The two main schools of thought among premillennialists are dispensational and historic premillennialism.

Dispensational Premillennialism

This view allows for two literal resurrections from the dead: the followers of God before the millennium, and the rejecters of God after the millennium. This view also includes a secret rapture prior to the tribulation, just before Christ’s Second Coming, and states that the literal Jewish nation will fulfill the millennial kingdom. This doctrine also says that the Jews will be restored in Palestine, the temple will be rebuilt, and the sacrificial system will be reinstated. None of this biblical.

a. two literal resurrections from the dead: the followers of God before the millennium, and the rejecters of God after the millennium. There are two resurrections in the Bible. One before the millennium (whenever I refer to the millennium I'm referring to the only millennium written of in the Bible and its that of Revelation 20) and one after.

The first resurrection will be for the dead righteous when Jesus returns the second time (1 Corinthians 15:52-54, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).

Revelation 20:5-6 says, "But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

The second resurrection will be after the millennium. The unrighteous will not be resurrected in the first resurrection because the Bible says those raised at the first resurrection are blessed and that the second death will have no power over them. The unrighteous are not blessed and they will not survive the second death. When Jesus returns the second time, the unrighteous dead will stay dead and those that are alive will be destroyed “by the splendour of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:8).

The Bible tells us, "But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison. And will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea" (Revelation 20:5, 7, 8). Also the New Jerusalem will come down from heaven (Revelation 21:2-3) then Satan and the unrighteous will attack New Jerusalem where Christ and His people are. "Satan will … go out to deceive the nations … of the earth … to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city” (Revelation 20:7-9). While they attack the Holy City fire will rain down from heaven on the unrighteous and all will be killed and turned into ashes including the devil and his angels. This death is called second death. There is no resurrection from this death. It is eternal and final (Revelation 20:9-10; 21:8).

b. a secret rapture prior to the tribulation. There is no rapture before Jesus' second coming biblically nor is it written of in the Bible anywhere (I've posted plenty on this subject). Interestingly, dispensationalists apply Matthew 24:40-41 to the Church, because they believe there is evidence for the secret rapture in these verses, but they don't apply any of the rest of the chapter. Because of the secret rapture doctrine, Christians expecting a rapture before the tribulation will not be prepared for the great time of trouble.

c. the literal Jewish nation will fulfill the millennial kingdom. Dispensational premillennialism makes many of Jesus’ teachings obsolete to the Church. It makes all the warnings given to the Church about the time of trouble only applicable to the Jews. In fact, the whole of Matthew 24 and Luke 21 would then apply only to the Jews as "the gospel of the kingdom" would refer to the Jews only.

According to this view, only Jews are concerned with the Kingdom. This would mean that even the Lord's Prayer, "Thy kingdom come," only applies to the Jews. This view makes most prophecies in the Bible regarding the coming of Christ and His Kingdom meaningless to the Christian. Scofield, a proponent of the dispensationalist view, allows for no continuity between the Old Testament believer and the New Testament Church. Because Scofield believes that Christ taught under the old dispensation, it would mean that not even Christ's words could be applicable to us. Only the epistles would be relevant to a contemporary Christian.

In contrast to the dispensationalist view, Paul preached the "gospel of the kingdom to the Jews and Gentiles" (Acts 20:25; 28:23,31). In reality, both Matthew 24 and Luke 21 fully apply to the Christian Church which includes both Jews and Gentiles.

There is only one millennium and during that period Jesus will be with His people in heaven reigning with them, "I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. ... And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4). There is not a single mention of any earthly millennial kingdom in the entire Bible. Jesus never once mentions it nor do the apostles and New Testament writers. Jesus said His Kingdom was not of this world (John 18:36).

d. the Jews will be restored in Palestine, the temple will be rebuilt, and the sacrificial system will be reinstated. Whether an earthly temple is rebuilt or not, (I don't believe it will be), it will be meaningless. The symbols and ceremonies in the earthly sanctuary/temple were about the plan of salvation. The killing of the lamb after the Jews repented of their sins symbolised Jesus' death for us on the cross (Leviticus 1:4, 11, 1 Corinthians 5:7). Also the very moment Jesus died on the cross the curtain that separated the holy and most holy rooms got torn by an unseen person in the temple (Matthew 27:51; Mark 15:38; Luke 23:45). Jesus' death symbolized the end of the need for the earthly priesthood to mediate between man and God. He was to become the High Priest in the heavenly temple after He went back to heaven (Hebrews 6:20, 4:14-16). The Bible also tells us Jesus died once and for all for all of us (Hebrews 7:27, 10:10,12,14, 1 Peter 3:18). To rebuild an earthly temple and reinstate the sacrificial system will mean the Jews will be rejecting Christ as the Messiah and the Lamb that taketh away the sin of the world.

Historic Premillennialism

This view states that all the redeemed throughout history live on the earth during the millennium. The Church is the collection of all God’s people. The millennial period will be the first thousand years of God's Kingdom on Earth.

Historic premillennialists are right about the church being a collection of God's people but it places the end of probation at the beginning of the millennium.

What is probation? Probation is when Jesus will announce in heaven just before He returns the second time, "He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work" (Revelation 22:11-12). God calls us to seek Him while there is hope because a time will come when our opportunity to turn to Him will end. Isaiah 55:6-7 says, "Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon." The implication here is that one day God will not be able to be found for those who left it too late. The time is coming when it will do no good to make an attempt to get in touch with God, that is the time that is referred to as the "close of probation." We don't know when probation will close but we know it will happen before Jesus returns the second time. Probation of all mankind is just about to close, because we're living in the very last days and are on the verge of eternity. The coming of Christ is about to take place, and the destiny of every man, woman, and child is about to be decided.

Biblically the millennium of Revelation cannot start before Jesus returns. It starts after He returns and has resurrected the righteous dead (Revelation 20:4).

Also their concept of an earthly millennium is not consistent with the Scriptures, which say the earth will be destroyed and uninhabited during this period.

Scripture places the millennial judgment scenes in heaven. This is in harmony with Christ's promise to take the redeemed to mansions prepared for them in heaven. God’s people will be gathered by angels and taken away from the earth to meet the Lord in the sky. At the same time, the unrighteous will be slain by the brightness of His coming.

The Doctrine of a future earthly millennium completely contradicts many plain passages of scripture. The doctrine of a future millennium contradicts the plain teaching of Jesus Christ, who in Matthew 13 speaks of the wheat and tares, and the good fish and bad fish. Jesus states in these two parables that both must stay together until the harvest (second coming), at which time the angels of God will separate the one from the other. The parable of the ten virgins (Matthew 25:1-14), and the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30) repeats the same order of events, as does Matthew 25:31-46 and Luke 17:22-31.

The teachings of the entire New Testament agree totally with the teaching of Jesus when they state plainly that the righteous and wicked will remain together until the second coming of Christ, at which point the two will be separated.

1 Corinthians 15:23-24 sums up perfectly the plain teaching of the entire New Testament, I quote:

"But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power."

The theory of an earthly “millennium” is based entirely upon tradition and assumption.

“It is said that one verse in thirty of the New Testament relates to the second coming of Christ. Yet not one verse refers to a millennial reign upon earth! Not even the Mystical and symbolical “thousand years” of Revelation chapter 20, hints at an earthly Utopia.

The complete silence of the New Testament regarding any earthly “millennium” cannot be ignored.

Likewise not one verse of the Old Testament even hints of a reign of a thousand year duration. This being so, the whole theory of an earthly “millennium” must be based entirely upon tradition and assumption”. (Archibald Hughes. A New Heaven and New Earth. Page 209 & 210).

Dispensationalism

In the 1500s, Jesuit priest Francisco Ribera wrote a commentary on the book of Revelation that explained prophecy through a futurist interpretation. The goal of Ribera’s book was to convince Protestants that the papal system is not the Antichrist.

Ribera succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. From his early work arose dispensationalist thinking, a method of Bible interpretation that is common to nearly every Protestant church today. As a result, few Protestant churches would criticize the Pope or agree that the papal system is the Biblical Antichrist.

What is Dispensationalism?
The Concise Oxford Dictionary of World Religions defines dispensationalism as a "Millennial scheme of biblical interpretation. It divides history into seven ‘dispensations’, in which God deals differently, and progressively, with humanity." John Bowker, “Dispensationalism,” The Concise Oxford Dictionary of World Religions (1997). View this definition.

Dispensationalists insist their interpretation is literal, supported by the history and grammar in Scripture. They come to Scripture expecting to see a secret rapture, a seven-year tribulation for the Jews, and a third coming of Christ to establish an earthly thousand-year reign from Jerusalem.

As James M. Efird observes, “If we come to the text already knowing what it is going to say, all we find is what we wish to find…thus the biblical texts are not allowed to speak as originally intended.” James M. Efird, Left Behind? What the Bible Really Says about the End Times (Smyth & Helwys Publishing, 2006): 27. Preview this book online.

This doctrine creates false hope of a second chance. How many poor souls will be unprepared when Christ returns because they are expecting a secret rapture as an early warning to get serious with God?

Dispensationalism is a dangerous corruption of Scripture. Here are some of the errors in the dispensational viewpoint:

Post-tribulation rapture, pre-tribulation rapture, mid tribulation rapture the separation of the Church and Israel, a "Church Age" inserted into the middle of Daniel's 70-week prophecy, the Dispensations or time periods (different times and ways that God works in different groups of people), millennial earthly kingdom etc.

If we wish to follow the One who is Truth, we should avoid dispensationalism and the confusion that comes with it.

Daniel 2:31-46 (the establishment of the "Stone" Kingdom - the 1000 year reign of Christ, once He is given the Throne of David)
2:31 Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness [was] excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof [was] terrible.
2:32 This image's head [was] of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
2:34 Thou sawest till that a Stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet [that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the "Stone" that smote the image became a great "mountain", and filled the whole earth.
2:36 This [is] the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.
2:37 Thou, O king, [art] a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
2:38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath He given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou [art] this head of gold (the Babylonian Empire).
2:39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee (Cyrus and the Medo-Persian Empire), and another third kingdom of brass (Alexander the Great's Greek Empire), which shall bear rule over all the earth.
2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron (the Roman Empire): forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all [things]: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
2:41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided (into the Eastern and Western Roman Empires); but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
2:42 And [as] the toes of the feet [were] part of iron, and part of clay (Rev. 13:1; 17:12), [so] the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
2:43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
2:44 And in the days of these kings (Rev. 17:12-14) shall the God of heaven set up a Kingdom, which shall NEVER be destroyed: and the Kingdom shall NOT be left to other people (but instead will be established by the true people Israel - the British), [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the "Stone" was cut out of the "mountain" without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
2:46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.

Ezekiel 21:26-27 (God removing the crown from Elizabeth 2 and giving it to Christ/Shiloh)
21:26 Thus saith the Lord "I AM"; Remove the diadem (sovereignty), and take off the crown: this [shall] not [be] the same: exalt [him that is] low (Line of Zarah), and abase [him that is] high (Line of Pharez).
21:27 I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no [more], [overturned] UNTIL he come whose Right it is; and I will give it [him - Shiloh (Gen. 49:10)].

Genesis 49:10, 22-24 (Christ's Second Coming, in a body from the tribe of Joseph)
49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah [to Joseph], nor a law-giver from between his feet, UNTIL Shiloh comes [from Joseph-Ephraim v 22-24]; and unto him [shall] the gathering of the people [be].

49:22 Joseph [is] a fruitful bough, [even] a fruitful bough by a well; [whose] branches run over the wall:
49:23 The archers have sorely grieved him, and shot [at him], and hated him:
49:24 But his bow abode in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the mighty [God] of Jacob; (from THERE [is] The Shepherd (John 10), The [Corner] Stone of Israel (1 Cor. 10:4; Daniel 2:34-5; 45)

Matthew 24:32-34 (1000 years of "Summer" after 6000 years of "Winter")
24:32 Now learn a parable of the Fig tree (Jews - Jer. 24:5); When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves (1948), ye know that Summer [is] nigh (the 1000 year reign of Christ on Earth after 6000 years of "Winter"/misrule under Satan - John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11).:
24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it (the end) is near, [even] at the doors.
24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation (from 1948 until the Last Day - SOON) shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day [is] with The Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Genesis 1:31, 2:1-3
1:31 And God saw every thing that He had made, and, behold, [it was] very good. And the evening and the morning were the Sixth Day.
2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2:2 And on the Seventh Day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the Seventh Day from all His work which He had made.
2:3 And God blessed the Seventh Day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made (7 days in a week, work 6 days a week, resting on the 7th, being the weekly Sabbath - just as we've had 6 millennia of work under the misrule of Satan, to be followed by the Sabbath millennium of rest under Christ/Shiloh).

Revelation 20:4-6
20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were executed for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither its image, neither had received [its] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection.
20:6 Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power (The Fire), but they shall be channels of God and of Christ (Gal. 1:10), and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The Spread of Dispensationalism

Summary: Four key men spread the doctrine of dispensationalism in 19th-century North America.

Scholars and ministers spread dispensationalism across America in the 19th century. John Nelson Darby, “the father of dispensationalism,” was a founder of the Plymouth Brethren movement. His most influential contribution was his promotion of dispensationalism and the secret rapture.

Darby, born in London, made seven trips to North America between 1862 and 1877, throughout and after the Civil War. Many saw his message of Christ’s return as hope in a dark world. James Inglis published Darby’s ideas in his journal Waymarks in the Wilderness. Brothers Paul and Timothy Loizeaux, part of the Plymouth Brethren movement in the United States, also helped to distribute Darby’s interpretations of Scripture.

Darby greatly influenced a Presbyterian minister named Dr. James H. Brookes, who developed the Niagara Bible Conference that met every summer from 1875 to 1897. The Bible studies held there were devoured by many eager young students—one of which was Cyrus Ingerson Scofield. Even to this day, Scofield is famous for his Scofield Reference Bible, which has dispensationalist footnotes.

Scofield established the Philadelphia School of the Bible. Dr. Lewis Sperry Chafer, a staff member, went on to become founder of Dallas Theological Seminary. He taught decades of theological students and pastors the dispensational point of view. One of those students was Hal Lindsey. His books, including The Late Great Planet Earth, declare that the physical nation of Israel is still God’s chosen people and the key to Bible prophecy.

These dispensational ideas have strongly influenced American foreign policy. They have lead to support for Israel largely based on the supposed blessing that such support will bring.

Darby and Scofield were paid Zionist shills.

From: http://themillenniumreport.com/2018/02/the-zionist-created-scofield-bible/

The Scofield Reference Bible was not to be just another translation, subverting minor passages a little at a time. No, Scofield produced a revolutionary book that radically changed the context of the King James Version. It was designed to create a subculture around a new worship icon, the modern State of Israel, a state that did not yet exist, but which was already on the drawing boards of the committed, well-funded authors of World Zionism.

Scofield’s support came from a movement that took root around the turn of the century, supposedly motivated by disillusionment over what it considered the stagnation of the mainline American churches. Some of these “reformers” were later to serve on Scofield’s Editorial Committee.

Scofield imitated a chain of past heretics and rapturists, most of whose credibility fizzled over their faulty end times prophesies. His mentor was one John Nelson Darby from Scotland, who was associated with the Plymouth Brethren and who made no less than six evangelical trips to the US selling what is today called “Darbyism.” It is from Darby that Scofield is thought to have learned his Christian Zionist theology, which he later planted in the footnotes of the Scofield Reference Bible. It is possible that Scofield’s interest in Darbyism was shared by Oxford University Press, for Darby was known to Oxford University. A History of The Plymouth Brethren By William Blair Neatby, M.A.

The Oxford University Press owned “The Scofield Reference Bible” from the beginning, as indicated by its copyright, and Scofield stated he received handsome royalties from Oxford. Oxford’s advertisers and promoters succeeded in making Scofield’s bible, with its Christian Zionist footnotes, a standard for interpreting scripture in Judeo-Christian churches, seminaries, and Bible study groups. It has been published in at least four editions since its introduction in 1908 and remains one of the largest selling Bibles ever.

The Scofield Reference Bible and its several clones is all but worshiped in the ranks of celebrity Christians, beginning with the first media icon, evangelist Billy Graham. Of particular importance to the Zionist penetration of American Christian churches has been the fast growth of national bible study organizations, such as Bible Study Fellowship and Precept Ministries. These draw millions of students from not only evangelical fundamentalist churches, but also from Catholic and mainline Protestant churches and non-church contacts. These invariably teach forms of “dispensationalism,” which draw their theory, to various degrees, from the notes in the Oxford Bible.

-------

Hal Lindsey's false claims "that the physical nation of Israel is still God’s chosen people", can be easily dismissed by simply looking at what the Bible says about those in the LAND of Israel v. the descriptions we're given of the TRUE PEOPLE Israel. They are obviously two very different things.

The standard Jewish encyclopaedia states that it's likely 95% of modern Jews are Ashkenazis which means, by their own admission, the overwhelming majority of the people falsely claiming to be Jews are not even Semites.

http://www.jewishencyclopedia.com/articles/13992-statistics

Genesis 10:1-3
10:1 Now these [are] the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem (from which ALL Semites are descended), Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.
10:2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
10:3 And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

Which is why Christ said the following about these pretenders, in His Revelation ot John:-

Revelation 2:9, 3:9
2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and [I know] the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are NOT, but [are] (Idumeans) the synagogue of Satan.

3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are NOT, but do LIE (Idumeans); behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

EVERYTHING about the Ashkenazi is counterfeit, including their false claim to be Biblical Jews and Semites. They are, as their name clearly states, descended from ASHKENAZ, the grandson of Noah's son Japheth (through Japheth's son Gomer), NOT Noah's son Shem/Sem. So the AshkeNAZI are Japhethites, NOT Semites and thus have NO Biblical right to one-inch of the land of Israel, that they've stolen from TRUEIsrael, with their Rothschild sponsored and co-authored Balfour Declaration, to set up their counterfeit-Jewish state. The same state that Adolf Hitler was the mid-wife of, because without him and their scam there would be no counterfeit-Jewish state in the land of Israel today.

So their incapacitating slur of “anti-Semitism” is a complete load of nonsense and a bare-faced LIE because it is the AshkeNAZIS that are the anti-Semites. They absolutely HATE TRUE Israel, the British and Anglo-Saxon Americans and thus have set out to enslave and destroy both nations, through their banksterism and murderous war profiteering.

I don't know if this is true (wouldn't surprise me if they were), but I do know dispensationalism is not biblical at all. A lot of the things they believe are not even written about in the Bible. Its all made up and it diverts from the truth of God's Word.

Bible questions answered about the importance of sound doctrine

Does it matter what one believes so long as they are sincere?

"But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth." 2 Thessalonians 2:13.

What advice was given to Timothy while preparing for the gospel ministry?

"Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you." 1 Timothy 4:13-16.

What similar instruction was given to Titus?

"But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility." Titus 2:1, 7.

Warning against false doctrines.

Of what kind of doctrines should we be aware?

"That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting." Ephesians 4:14.

"Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines. For it is good that the heart be established by grace, not with foods which have not profited those who have been occupied with them." Hebrews 13:9.

What is a "wind of doctrine"?

"And the prophets become wind, For the word is not in them. Thus shall it be done to them.”" Jeremiah 5:13.

What danger attends the teaching of false doctrine?

"And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ” Matthew 15:9.

By what doctrines are some to be misled in the last days?

"Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons." 1 Timothy 4:1.

"But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction." 2 Peter2:1.

To what would men turn their ears?

"For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." 2 Timothy 4:3-4.

The test of true and false.

How may we determine the truthfulness of any doctrine?

"Test all things; hold fast what is good." 1 Thessalonians 5:21.

By what should we test and prove all doctrine?

"To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isaiah 8:20.

Note:-
The Bible is the test of all doctrine. Whatever does not harmonise and square with this, is not to be received.

For what is all scripture profitable?
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16.

What will sound doctrine enable the faithful teacher to do?

"Holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict." Titus 1:9.

God has always desired to live on earth with man in His kingdom. The promise He made with the children of Israel on Mt. Sinai is an everlasting promise. When Jesus returns, David will be His prince and Jesus will be king over the house of Israel.

Ezekiel 34:24-25

24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

25And I will make with them a covenant of peace and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

God has not promised His servants heaven, but when He divided the earth, He gave the nations their inheritance and set the bonds according to the children of Israel (Deuteronomy 32:8). Every nation at His return will return to their own land, and Israel will return to the land of Canaan promised to them. This inheritance for the nations and Israel is an everlasting inheritance.

The old testament prophesied Christ’s return and never does it say that He will take us to heaven to rule with Him. At His return, the 144,000 will be changed into their spiritual bodies and rule with Christ over the house of Israel and teach the other nations. In His ministry on Earth, Christ promised His disciples they would be part of the elect and judge Israel.

Matthew 19:27

27Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed thee; what shall we have therefore? 28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

No one who has died has gone to heaven. The 144,000 will be the first fruits from the dead, or the first group of people redeemed from the earth and part of the first resurrection. Jesus is the only one who has immortality now (1 Timothy 6:16). The second resurrection is for the unrighteous and the righteous who lived before and during the millennium. In the millennium people will still die, even the righteous who choose to serve God. All will be judged in the second resurrection. The second resurrection is not only for the wicked. Those who will face damnation will be cast into the Lake of fire at this time and will suffer eternal torment alongside satan and his angels.

There also will not be a rapture before Christ returns. The 144,000 will be changed when He comes and descends to the mount of Olives (Zechariah 14:4). After He executes His judgment on the nations, He will gather the remnant of Israel and bring them to the wilderness, purge them, and then take them back into the land

Ezekiel 20:33- 38

33As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out, will I rule over you:

34And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.

35And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face.

36Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith the Lord GOD.

37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:

38And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD

The other nations will return to their own land. Those who are taken when Christ returns in Matthew 24:39-41 are not raptured but are killed, as those who lived in Noah’s day were taken (killed) in the flood.

Matthew 24:39-41

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Luke 17:34-37

34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

The eagles and the other fowls will eat the flesh of those Christ punishes at His return.

Revelation 19:15-18

15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

18That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

After the millennium, New Jerusalem comes down from heaven. We do not go to heaven to New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:2-3 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God). The old heavens and earth will melt away and the glory of God will be a light for His people instead of the sun and moon. New Jerusalem is the kingdom of God because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15:50), but there will be flesh and blood people during Jesus’ millennium reign on Earth.

The other nations who have not accepted Christ must come to Jerusalem every year during the millennium to keep the feast days. If they do not come, God will punish them by withholding rain from their lands and sending a plague on them (Zechariah 14:16-21).

The last battle with Gog and Magog in Revelation can be found in Ezekiel 38. If we are in heaven, there would not be a need for this battle. This battle occurs before New Jerusalem descends, and cannot take place in heaven but at the end of the millennium reign.

The sacrifices will resume because Christ will not take the Passover until Father’s kingdom comes.

Luke 22: 13- 18

13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

16 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

There will still be flesh and blood people. The blood of Jesus, who is our Passover lamb, covers all seven thousand years of man. He cannot take the Passover until New Jerusalem comes when all have been changed into their spiritual bodies. The sinner shall die at one hundred if they choose to disobey God’s commandments in the millennium kingdom (Isaiah 65:20 20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed). Those who choose not to keep the commandments of God through faith fall under the blood of the animal sacrifices to keep God from killing them. If they repent by faith and decide to keep God’s commandments, they fall under the blood of Jesus. The priesthood will be reinstated during the millennium. The third temple will be built during the millennium by Zerubbabel (Zechariah 4:9), and the priests of Zadok will offer the sacrifices there (Ezekiel 44:15-31).
