Thought I would start a place
for anyone else who might write
whatever poems,songs
just to let off steam
I've been writing my whole life
it's all I had to release things
just so all know I do not
go by rules of correctness for this
so i hope y'all enjoy
I look forward to seeing
what others share

They Keep Us Divided

They keep us divided
they keep us blind
while they sit in their mansions
sipping thousand dollar wine

they murder us just to get us
rioting in the streets
while they live high on the hog
There are people without a meal to eat

When we gonna learn
from history
the only reason they made
a democracy
is to always have a boot on the neck
of you and me

shed our blood to protect
our country
from our so called
created enemies

It's about time to realize
the labels are designed
to keep us separated
thinking we're all different
couldn't be a bigger lie

how many times do we
rinse and repeat
trying to hold on to
our idea of this so called
democracy

we already know
been done so many times before
the only difference now
is people are a lot smarter

waking up from their
system induced dream
we see the system for what it is
a grand ponsi scheme
to control every aspect
of how we live

it's been over a year now
since I last heard your laugh
what I wouldn't give just

I remembered when
I was young

a mum

lost someone
the shoulda's ,woulda's
the wish I dids

that I shoulda have done better
than I did
that I woulda eventually
gotten over the shit
the over whelming,agonizing
wish I did

I just wanted

didn't want nothing
bad to touch you

I didn't want you to
Learn any hard lessons
Thought tough love
was the only way
to fight your addictions

that if you lost enough
if you lost all of us
That it would help you
Wanna fight to give
them all up

I should have fought harder
thats part of being a mother
I was hurting from words
we both said in anger

if a had one more minute
to tell you
a minute just to say
you were loved
always and forever

every single day
you were loved
when we weren't together
when angry words
we're in the way

even when i didn't
let my pride get

Thought before I share this
I wanted to mention it was written
as I was watching nine eleven
once I was alone I sat to put music to it
my first and last song where I mention god
since then I have grown since writing this
Into my own form of a spirituality and I am not
so angry anymore please just take into account
I was a very young and abused lady at that time

What Is God

but a suggestion in our minds
that's been bred down
generations through time
to fit into our society
ya have to get down kneel n believe
follow the good book that's what they say
it will lead us all heavens way

We've had too many injured ,we've lost so many
no one there they passed ,without proper ceremony
It's not repayable in any form of monetary

I have always enjoyed writing and drawing
those were my only escapes sometimes
I find it therapeutic for anyone
you don't need to stick the conforms of
what was taught as proper formation
like I tell my lil one
your the artist and no one can say ya did it wrong
Look at Picasso for example some love em others not so much lol

I would love to see anyone else's writings or w/e
I was hoping it would be like a dance lol
ya know if someone stepped out and started

trouble recalling something

mine started when I got my new G5 modem
I'm starting to wonder if it can be the culprit

I found my hard written copies of a few of my
older writing get which is great see always why
having them physical copies is good sometimes

I found a few anyways but one did happen to be
the shared one that was missing apart
my Sometime song

really the way I have papers saved from everything
not just writing have bills,every drawing/writing
the kids/I wanted to save
every receipt to the point I am now finding blank paper
of what used to be one so finding these few
means a lot for me as I am forgetting my own
Anyhoo
It's now been added and have another to share

this is a way older one so please keep that in mind
it was written at a time I was lost in a bad place of my life
I'm also gonna write it exactly the way it is written at the time
of writing as I did try to stay more grammatically correct
then I do in my typing/text writing
