INTP here.
I also used to like the tests, until I found about it's origins. Grandfather of mbti, Carl Jung, was psychologist famous for his fascination of supernatural and communication with demons, getting info on human psychology from spirits was an excellent idea according to him. Jung's also famous for bringing introvert/extrovert/ambivert concept to psychology. Briggs and Myers only recycled some of his stuff and made personality tests out of it.

It can be form of divination and astrology. Just as you can compare what astrological signs will make a good friend or husband, and how people act based on their sign, you see the same with MBTI.
According to it we should be kindred spirits, @DesertRose :) ♥ (INTJ & INTP)

Speaking of personality, my solicitor once sent me to a psychiatrist in connection with a vigilante charge I was facing in court, maybe he was hoping to get me off on a "guilty but insane" plea, but the shrinks written report concluded with-
"Mr X's behaviour was appropriate throughout the interview and he displayed no evidence of an unsound mind, he is a very strongwilled individual which would account for the trouble he now finds himself in with the police." ..

PS- mind you, when i was a kid my dad thought i was off my rocker, I once overheard him saying to my mam about me -
"He's nutty! No don't laugh, I really do mean it, he wastes all his pocket money on silly plastic model aeroplanes then hangs 'em on string from his bedroom ceiling in full view of the street, I dread to think what the neighbours are saying about him, when's he going to start saving his money instead?"

He's been dead now 35 years but I wonder what he'd say if he knew I still buy models, I've currently got my eye on a Star Trek Galileo shuttlecraft down the model shop..:)

Nothing wrong with building models. That is pretty cool actually.
You definitely have to be strong willed to troll threads.
You may go ahead and troll this thread, it is a fun one anyway, and I am used to childish behavior..... I will not respond.

Thanks, here's another test result that might interest you and my other fans, it was an online ESP test to find out if we have Extra-Sensory Perception; basically we had to keep guessing what pictures the cards would reveal when they were turned over about a hundred times; I played it under my other name "Waymarker" and scored 60% which is just above average, maybe I should hit Vegas and take the casinos for big cash..:)

What are the most stereotypical things you've heard a Myers Briggs type say?
Answered by: Iva T.

ESTJ - I don’t understand what your feelings have to do with this.

ISTJ - Who cares? It won’t bring you any money.

ESFJ - Want something to eat?

ISFJ - I’m so anxious.

ENTP - You’re wrong.

INTP - I don’t want to go out for the next month or so, I have a paper to write.

ENTJ - You have friends, I have fans.

INTJ - Mwahahaha!

ESFP - Let’s gooooo!

ISFP - But-but it’s art!

ESTP - YOLO!

ISTP - …

ENFJ - The power is in human potential!

INFJ - I can help you.

ENFP - I have this great idea!

INFP - I can’t respond to that with a single sentence.

Found more neat stuff to share :):

"Caleb Hill MBTI enthusiast, critic, lover, and philosopher! - Updated 3y
What kind of criminal would each MBTI type be?
ENFP — That really friendly person who strikes up a conversation at Starbucks, puts you at your ease, then steals your wallet.
ENTP — Definitely a hacker, taking on bigger and bigger challenges, making money while having the time of their life, bringing down a government or two, and ghosting around social media to make sure they get the recognition they deserve.
ISFJ — The person who turns vigilante because they think the people in power are doing nothing to right the wrong ([*cough*] Steve Rogers [*cough*]), especially if the crime in question pushes their moral hot buttons.
ISTP — Maybe car thief, because what ISTP wouldn’t want both the thrill of stealing a car and police chase afterward, free of charge? Cars, adrenaline, and rule breaking. You can’t lose.
ISTJ — Criminal? These guys? I think not. They might get arrested for screaming at a kid for leaving gum on the sidewalk, but that’s probably as far as it goes.
ISFP — Elite graffiti artist, painting their messages in high visibility areas like the White House and United Nations. Highly illegal, but kind of cool.
ESFP — A, shall we say… promiscuous person whose can always blackmail someone a favor when they need to, picking up luxury goods from the black market for little more than a song… or a kiss.
ESTJ — Running a mafia like a well oiled machine with everyone from the police force to the lady next door in their pocket, with perfectly organized manila folders on them all.
ESTP — The heist guy who leads his team with a combination of high-stakes risks and impromptu cleverness to steal from the biggest and the baddest… or whichever’s easier.
ESFJ — Mass murderer. Gets everyone together for a well-organized and well-provisioned evening, makes them all feel at home the proceeds to kill them all with the secret ingredient in her irresistible cupcakes… nightshade.
INTJ — I’m gonna have to go with the flow and say mastermind on this one. They plan a world takeover in detail, but are masters of carpe diem, seizing their chances with calculated foresight. The world is in their grasp… unless they find an annoyingly incorrect Quora answer that really needs to be sorted out. Right now.
INTP — Serial thief. The bigger the challenge the more they will love it, using their knowledge of people, tech, and intricate security systems to bring down the house. They barely notice the money, though. All they want is the next puzzle.
ENFJ — Specialist in government takedown. Let’s say the communist cause caught their heart, and now they are mobilizing their skills as a planner, people connecter, and leader to pull the rug right out from under the unfortunate democracy.
ENTJ — Leader of a traitorous rebellion. They would utilize their unparalleled political, organizational, and practical skills to put into motion a sweeping plan that turns the tables on the infrastructure they had used for so long.
INFJ— Thanos. They’ve got a self-sacrificing idea for the betterment of humankind deep in their mind, built whole frameworks of plans and strategies around it, and inspired a select, but elite few to implement their solution. It’s scarily accurate, if you think about it.
INFP — Serial killer. Someone whose heart has been broken one too many times whose deep capacity for emotional pain leads them to kill anyone who is experiencing the love they are denied.
Sorry. That last one was a little dark.
Let me know all your thoughts in the comments below! Upvote if you like it, talk to me if you don’t!
Cheers!
ps. These ‘every mbti type’ posts are tiring! Whew!"
