In all seriousness, why can't you just tell me what you mean by your question about a Jewish state? I don't know of a Jewish state being imposed on anyone, anywhere, which is why I am responding the way I am. Can you really not explain what you mean?

You have the context from the bibi quote i gave you. Read it. And here's another bibi quote

"Your peace plan advances all these goals. First, it addresses the root cause of the conflict by insisting that the Palestinians will finally have to recognize Israel as the Jewish State. "

I'm not denying that the phrase is used, but based on the Jewish state I know, I find your questions about it being imposed on people very confusing. Is it being imposed on UAE and Bahrain as it's being imposed on the Palestinians? What does that mean? What do nations that make peace with Israel have to fear from accepting Israel as a Jewish state? You don't explain that.

I don't know of any circumstance where a Jewish state is being imposed on anyone or anything. Do you see why I keep asking what you mean?

Of course not as i've already given you two direct quotes from bibi.

but based on the Jewish state I know
Irrelevant. What you or I think of the 'Jewish State' has nothing to do with my Q.

I find your questions about it being imposed on people very confusing.
What is confusing you...I've given you two quotes, and there's plenty more of the same that can be easily found, in which bibi demands that the Palestinians accept Israel as a 'Jewish State'. Here they are again.

"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday implored Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to accept the existence of Israel as a Jewish state, calling it a "basic demand" for achieving peace in the region. "

"Your peace plan advances all these goals. First, it addresses the root cause of the conflict by insisting that the Palestinians will finally have to recognize Israel as the Jewish State. "

What do nations that make peace with Israel have to fear from accepting Israel as a Jewish state? You don't explain that.
I never claimed anything about fear. That's just some mad fantasy that you've made up.

Anyway you had two sensible options in regard to my original Q. 1. You could have kept quiet. or 2. You could have replied politely that you didn't know but we may find out when the details are released.

Instead you choose to reply with slurs, strawmen and whataboutery.

I'm done!

I don’t know how to explain things any further. This topic is obviously beyond some people’s capacity for discussion.

The Unified National Leadership for Popular Resistance called for Palestinians to demonstrate against the UAE and Bahrain normalisation agreements on 15 September, the same day that the UAE, Bahrain, and Israel are set to formally sign their peace deals at a ceremony in Washington.

Munir Al-Jaghoub, an official from Fatah who is taking part in the Unified National Leadership told The New Arab’s Arabic-language service that members of several Palestinian factions are involved with the coordination group.

"These demonstrations are one of several steps taken by all Palestinian factions, including the Hamas, Fatah and Islamic Jihad movements, in order to unify popular resistance efforts in the West Bank and organize them in a way appropriate to the current challenges," he said.

The Unified National Leadership called in particular on Palestinians previously imprisoned in Israeli jails and families of Palestinians killed by Israel to participate in the protests.

It also called on "Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic communities, free people around the world, and democratic forces" to demonstrate outside the embassies of the four countries involved in what it described as the "agreements of shame".

On September 6, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Netanyahu will be requesting additional U.S. weapons for Israel to offset the impact of the new U.S. weapons sales to the Emirates. These additional weapons will pile on top of the $3.8 billion the U.S. already gives Israel annually in military assistance (100% of which must be used for purchases from U.S. weapons manufacturers).

On September 7, Trump spoke out against the revolving door of U.S. weapons sales and endless wars. Pushing back against a report in the Atlantic that he had disparaged fallen U.S. soldiers as “suckers” and “losers,” he accused Pentagon leaders of wanting “to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy.” But Donald Trump himself is making these “wonderful companies” happy by cutting a deal for them to sell tens of billions in weapons to the Emirates, a country that is mired in the war in Libya and was, until recently, one of the leaders of the brutal war in Yemen.

Never thought I’d be posting anything from 972. It just goes to show how crazy things are getting.

Fortunately for the purposes of this thread, the Israel-hating press finds things in the language of the peace agreement that seem to have escaped some other journalists. You have to admit, the language change from the Peace To Prosperity agreement to the Bahrain peace deal is very thought-provoking.

yea that would be you and the other half of the zionist dynamic duo.

In hindsight this discussion should have finished when you asked in your first response 'what i knew about Israel'. Although subsequently i think we've all discovered that you are not the 'voice of authority' on anything to do with the M.E.

@Stucky, can you explain your question about whether a Jewish state will be imposed on UAE and Bahrain “like it has on the Palestinians”?
