While they may look alike, in my opinion, I don't think Demand Protest is authentic. Demand Protest doesn't have an address, only a telephone number (with the second three digits being 666, but it could be an actual number) and an email. When the link is pressed at the bottom of the page for Recruitment, one is taken to another page stating, "Due to an overwhelming number of responses we have suspended new applications. Thank you for your understanding.". That may be the case, however, if it was active and/or real, I would think they'd be stating something else rather than that, but I could be wrong. I think it was created to muddy the waters and delegitimize the actual hiring of people for protests. What are you talking about? They look alike! lol
The stories that Karly and I posted both mention Crowds on Demand and how they've been used in previous events. In the story, it names the founder of CoD, Adam Swart. As well, the website has an address in California and a 1-800 toll free number.
