^Maduro claims to have been to the future..... "I went to the future and came back" "I saw that everything turns out well"

"Although he did not specify what supernatural experience provided him with this insight, Maduro claimed that the trip also confirmed that the security of his socialist regime was guaranteed...
As noted by CubaNet, it was not the first time that Maduro boasted of having “supernatural gifts,” including the ability to communicate with animals and describe paranormal phenomena. Last May, he visited a farm where he delivered a confounding address to cattle about the importance of replacing the democratically elected National Assembly with an unelected “Constituent Assembly” comprised of solely government supporters.

“I want spokesmen, leaders, and producers of the field to be next deputies of the Constituent Assembly,” he said in front of the cattle. “Are you going to accompany me? Are you going to support me in the Constituent Assembly or do you want opposition? Do you want violence? Do you want death? Those of us who want peace and life go to the Constituent Assembly.”"

Watch this, Maduro supporters:

"Here in Colombia we are feeling the damages, people of Venezuela is escaping here asking for jobs or selling things on the public transport, i don't think the people on the comnents (in the USA) can remotly feel all the impacts; you can know the facts but nothing near like the reality"

"I live in Venezuela, and I'm gonna have to flee from my country in order for my family not to starve, my aunt to die from cancer cuz there are no medicines. Or my nieces and nephews to grow up without a future. I'm a Petroleum Engineer, a Chef and an EFL professor and I'm gonna scrub toilets in Colombia because Maduro's regime have destroyed my country, our future, I'm typing this with tears in my eyes, terrified for my future, and leaving my family not knowing what will become of them in my absence. I don't wish this unto *ANYONE*. Please don't make it about Socialism, or Trump, don't dehumanize the crisis in our country, Thank you Vox for sharing what's happening to us."

Venezuela is getting worse by the minute
Yes and the leftists are happy to sacrifice the Venezuelans for the sake of their ideology. They are determined to see their ideology succeed, no matter how many Venezuelans have to starve.

Etagloc,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember you as a proponent of Castro and the likes. Were you? If so, what changed your mind?

If not, never mind my asking.

Etagloc,

I would say the problem is what is the watered-down version of conservatism. As I'm sure you realize, the "conservative" position of today is merely the liberal position of 10, 15 years ago (with some exceptions like support for Israel- though I am staunchly in favor of Israel returning the land to the Palestinians).

So therefore, we can go all the way back to McCarthyism and probably earlier imo.

The problem imo is the weak position of some "conservatives" on Marxism. The position is incredibly weak and actually bolsters Marxism- it is the position that Marxism is flawed but was fundamentally well-intentioned. So Mr. Marx just made some honest mistakes- it's not that he was actively a malicious character.

I believe this is extremely weak and cannot be a basis for opposing Communism. If we accept this premise, what follows is not a staunch opposition to Communism but a very soft position on Communism at best- but if we are most consistent with the premise, what follows is we can follow Marxism with a few adjustments to adjust for Mr. Marx's miscalculations.

Imo the correct position is the "Jewish-Masonic conspiracy" explanation of Marxism. It is a fact that the Bolsheviks were funded by Jewish Wall Street bankers and as long as conservatives refuse to mention Jews in discussing Marxism, I think they're actually fostering its growth by refusing to do so. I don't think you can really have an accurate, honest explanation of Marxism without discussing the Jewish role (Marx himself, of course, was the son of a rabbi).

Maduro the burro as they say. Maduro was handed the leadership by Chavez, according to ex minister and boss of PDVSA, Rafael Ramirez, because the Cubans put enourmous pressure on Chavez, him being ill in their hospitals and all that!!!!!!! Personally I would say that Chavez did have a good heart and he tried to head in the right direction but he was heavily handicapped, as are all independently minded South American leaders, whether left or right, by reliance on outside help... Chavez got pulled in by the Cuban Marxists and Cuba has been all along a TROYAN HORSE... Castro et al were funded at the start by the USA, they were given good publicity in the NYT... and when they got in they had all the help necessary from expert Communist Ideologs.... then when other countries got on the leftist bandwagon, such as Chile which had a strong flavour of autonomous folk culture and doing things their way, the Cubans came to visit, Fidel stayed for months like one of those uninvited guests that came to deliberately spoil the party. When he was finally about to leave Allende did not attend his goodbye bash, Allende never liked the communists and said they never did anything but sabotage.... Allende was also a Mason but gave up his masonic membership because he realised were it was at... Pinocho was helped by Kissenger, the CIA etc to make the coup but even he had to realise after that the North Americans had their own agenda and he was snubbed on various key issues.... Maduro is a not of the calibre or intelligence of an Allende or Chavez but even they failed to get the full extent of the danger of Marxism..... The key would have been to adopt a more national socialist idea, more fully independent of outside influences from either left or right. Maduro in this case is an out and out tool of the Rich bankers... HE ALREADY SOLD 69% of PDVSA shares at rock bottom price to GOLDMAN SACHS in order to get leverage for a loan that has to be paid back by 2022 at 300%... MABURRO and then some, the guy is a total crook and has sold out his country to the rich bankers, he is being propped up. Personally I think that Pompeo and Trump are just playing about making threats, Maduro is actually backed by some pretty powerful international criminal organisations that in the end also feed back to the White House, or give orders to the White House more like.... GOLDMAN SACHS... yeah...... so this is all a stitch up and it is a shame that Chavez got so taken in by Fidel... a wolf in sheeps clothing if ever there was one.

No, not really. Just think they should determine their own fate without US imperialist invasion... they are clearly struggling now but signing a deal with the devil will ensure they struggle forever. Look at Puerto Rico or any other Latin American country that made this bargain. Selling off their resources to foreign corporations may be a quick solution but I fear, for rational reasons, that in the long term they will be royally screwed by doing so.

You pose as anti-imperialist but you leftists are fine with Russian imperialism.

And I didn't hear leftist's defend Brazil's self-determination when they elected their president.

So it's "self-determination" when it benefits leftism.

Lol... come on man.

They should all have self determination. Whether they decide to go left or right that is their choice. I don’t think the USA should be getting involved with any other countries affairs. I don’t think Russia should be either but I’m an American not a Russian. My tax dollars fuel the American problem not the Russian one. I get no say how Russia handles itself but I should get some say how America does.

There's nothing "lol" about it. People all across Latin America are aware that this is a Russia versus US thing.

And that you can simply ignore Russian wrondoing and only pay attention to what the US does.... at best that means you can't look at it objectively.

And honestly it shows a predetermined political agenda being put before the bare facts.

And if you think Russia and China should mind their business.... then let Russia and China quit backing Maduro...... Maduro won't last long.

You leftists continue to apply a double standard and are perfectly content to back Russian imperialism and will not discuss the things as they really are- a proxy conflict between Russia and US. Instead you continue to distort the reality rather than address it as it really is. That you have to distort the facts before you can argue demonstrates that your position doesn't hold water in light of the reality.

The lol is you assuming my positions or intent without knowing me and just putting me in some box that you think means left because of some of my views which match your belief of what left is

I don’t want Russia or the USA or any other country meddling in any countries affairs. I have no say in Russian politics I am not Russian. I should get a say in USA politics since I pay taxes and am a citizen. That doesn’t mean I’m ignoring Russia or approving of what Russia is doing. I’ve only said Venezuela should be allowed to decide what Venezuela does without interference and especially without us interference since that is where I live and actually have some say theoretically in.
