It truly is sad when young kids are put out there into the world at such a young age. Being Eurasian myself it was tough growing up. My mother wanted me to become a child star so bad she put me into modeling at 5 and if it wasn’t for my Dad she would of moved me to the Philippines to become an actress. Unfortunately I got groomed at such a young age (too many personal details) but I’m thankful I never got to see the full effects of being in that industry.

Thank you for your response and I am glad you dodged the bullet. I myself live in Thailand am a Lukrueng and I went to an international school so I saw how mothers were often desperate to get their Hapa / Eurasian kids into the show business. As we know that in Hollywood there is this problem of abuse going on so we can be pretty sure than in third world countries these things are going on too. So often time things kids who end up becoming adult models become part time escorts for the rich and powerful and have to do certain favors to certain people to remain relevant in the entertainement industry. This is not really a life.
Just look at Thai celebs like Mareeya Poonlertlarp who is a perfect poster child of a child who was groomed from age 6 to become a model and later ends of being Miss Thailand. Nad do they look happy to you? I think no
