I wish this was a joke.

Heterosexual people, bisexual people and gay people, if you do not fancy/ want to date transgender people you have transphobia.

....Considering the discrimination trans people face on a daily basis, it comes as no surprise that trans people are overlooked when it comes to dating. Two Canadian researchers recently asked almost 1000 cisgender folks if they would date a trans person in a new study published in the Journal of Social and Personal Relationships ....

Virtually all heterosexuals excluded trans folks from their dating pool: only 1.8% of straight women and 3.3% of straight men chose a trans person of either binary gender. But most non-heterosexuals weren’t down for dating a trans person either, with only 11.5% of gay men and 29% of lesbians being trans-inclusive in their dating preferences....

...The high rates of trans exclusion from potential dating pools are undoubtedly due in part to cisnormativity, cissexism, and transphobia — all of which lead to lack of knowledge about transgender people and their bodies, discomfort with these unknowns, and fear of being discriminated against by proxy of one’s romantic partner. It is also possible that at least some of the trans exclusion is due to the fact that for some people, sexual orientation might be not (just) about a partner’s gender identity, but attraction to specific body types and/or judgment of reproductive capabilities.

So everyone, if you do not fancy "women" in drag or effeminate-looking "men" you are transphobic. Repent in sackcloth and ashes. Ignore your own personal preferences. How the other person feels is way more important than your own. You don't want to be accused of making their feelings hurt do you?

/Sarcasm over.

^ I don’t even think “liking” a post like this is quite the right reaction. I can see the power of the narrative - after all, who wants to be a “hater”.

At what point does the “hater” polemic stop though - when a middle aged guy who has managed to get married to three spaniels in Holland then wants to work in a crèche?

To be told who you should like is the ultimate removal of freedom.

I understand that reaction. Who could possibly like that campaign unless they were extremely strong supporters of transsexuals themselves?
Transsexuals made the decision to live as someone they are not. They made the decision to have surgery, they made the decision to change their lifestyle, so they have to live with the consequences. The only ones who are likely to have success with dating people are ones who were already very physically attractive etc.

Speaking for heterosexuals here - especially a person in the child-bearing age phase of life wants to be with someone they could in theory have kids with one day. A transsexual will never provide that UNLESS they have not had the genital mutilations [that is what the sex change surgery really is, stop trying to pretend otherwise, sex-change operation supporters]. A normal heterosexual woman will not want to be with someone who is trying to look like a woman (but usually failing). Same with heterosexual men not being attracted to women with facial hair and masculine style clothing.

Tolerance of transsexuals' choice to safely live [e.g. treated with respect like everyone else, no job discrimination UNLESS workplace with set religious beliefs] as if they were the opposite biological sex is the best they should reasonably expect all people to give them.
They should stop demanding that we pretend that we actually ***believe*** they are the biological sex they are trying to look like.

But I've met quite a few self-identified straight men who prefer transwomen over bio females.
i believe something is not right with them if theyre going for trans women.
trans women can look and act like women, but theyll never produce female pheromones. i would argue that the straight guys who go for them have had their minds twisted via pornography. just my opinion.

I mean, in all fairness it should be "some" straight men.
The study said there was 1.9 % of 1000 people interviewed. Probably 500 men interviewed.
If you round it up to 2% and assume people were being completely truthful... that is only 10 men out of 500 saying they would be OK with a transgender woman.
A heterosexual man would have to be very liberal in their belief system and have no interest in having kids if they have an open mind towards a long term relationship with a transgender woman.

Or bisexual, pansexual or any other latest word-game that makes it OK for a self-proclaimed heterosexual man to be with a trans woman.

Not really . . . Go look up Blaire White, a conservative trans Youtuber. She has hordes of "conservative, traditional 'straight' men" gushing in every comment section about how they would be all up for pursuing her (and so would many more men in real life, if they wouldn't be "judged" for it and were being honest). In terms of the whole "sexual fluidity" thing I actually think men are more "flexible" than women. Just my observation.

Sadly I can imagine many straight guys acting on impulse to have a one night stand with a trans woman to see what it was like.

Blaire White looks very physically attractive, "she" was very fortunate that way. Without well done makeup and hair she would still outdo the majority of trans women looks wise. She is the exception to the rule.

P.S. I had seen her Tweets before because of her interactions with that pervert "Jessica" Yaniv.
Here is one of the latest.

And that is what has put me off men lol. Well that and a few really terrible experiences I recently found out about regarding a relative of one of my closest friends -and this from a man who called himself a Christian, was very active in the church etc.

She does pass well and I respect her for being one of the minority of transgender people who are not of the SJW variety.

Not willing to date them because of hate lmao. The answer is in first two words "straight men".
Again, that doesn't mean much. If "she" passes well enough you'd have tons of 'straight men' chasing her. Many fetishize it actually. The transwomen complaining are the ones who are not conventionally attractive enough to get that kind of attention. Many dont have a problem dating.

Well at some point you have to get naked, or it's not how it's done these days ? Again straight man would run in straight line without looking back.

Not if she was hot enough. Men are visual first, no? Transmen have a harder time getting gay men to date them than transwomen do with straight men. It's odd.

Those man aren't straight then, or not straight anymore. What I would call that is tarnswoman are successfully seducing straight men and converting them to gays. Again I'm sure for myself would recognize transwoman in half hour. Some things real woman do can't be learned, and no amount of hormones will help. The way woman does stuff when she is around men she likes can't be learned :)
