What an incestuous pool.
So true. Bloomberg is a snake. And there's still people that say Drumph is taking on the deep state lol! How anyone can defend these thieves as capable leaders is beyond me. Dull, average people have an unhealthy reverence for billionaires. We read their newspapers and follow their tweets. It's almost a case of Stockholm syndrome. By academic standards billionaires are sociopaths.

Several people have said Sanders' biggest threat is the Democratic party, I think they're right. The establishment dems are horrified at the excitement Bernie is garnering. Of course there's the fear he'll challenge the banks and MIC, but really they're disturbed because they cannot relate in the least to the pains of the working class. Obama and the like have no faith Bernie could win because they truly don't understand the hope of social, environmental, economic, and foreign policy reforms.

What they also don't get is that if fringe people like myself are now interested in voting for the first time, Sanders campaign is for real.

It'll be sad if Bloomberg or #CIA Pete are close enough to Sanders that the DNC super-delegates have to step in and deny Bernie. Even if it happens the establishment can't stop the generation of progressives that are running for office across the country.

So fun fact... sanders and my husband went to the same high school. If we had stayed in Brooklyn my son would have went there too.

Warren and I went to the same college.

No boarding schools or elite universities. They are of the people. I’d much rather someone who’s not been rich and pampered and elite their whole life.

If he does become the Democratic candidate, I don’t think I’ll stop laughing. Isn’t serving a third term exactly what the deranged haters keep accusing Trump of planning on doing? Bloomberg actually did it.

Not a single progressive is getting behind Bloomberg. He’s banking on the same people that gave Hilary the nomination and stole it from Bernie. Neoliberal bullshit..

But don’t be mistaken. Trump has said and done the same things. They are IN THE SAME CLUB.

I’m just wondering what’s going to happen to the Democratic Party if he does get the nomination. Whatever happens, the convention is looking like it’s going to be off the chain.

I don’t think Trump is really a racist. If he is, he’s pretty bad at making things harder for American minorities.

Every Bloomberg comment in this thread has been straight facts. Neo liberals are plenty progressive on race and social issues, they just also vehemently defend free markets.

I was calling BLOOMBURG and his ilk neoliberal bullshit. What they did to Bernie last time, neoliberal bullshit. Changing the debate rules for one of their own this time, neoliberal bullshit.

I lived in nyc. I’m well aware that every single thing in this thread about Bloomberg has been 100% facts.

Siphoning off money from the country to provide socialism for the rich and corporations is NOT free market man.

No I'm saying everything Bloomberg said in this thread that's being called racist is the truth. It's not PC but it's true. You want to say his globalist economic policies are trash and only benefit the rich, I understand what you're saying. Calling him racist for accurately pointing out crime stats? Nah.

I can't stand neo liberals and I don't worship markets. I'm a paleo conservative. Pretty much the exact opposite of a neo liberal.

He helped create those crime stats though. He targeted specific communities for increase scrutiny and locked them up at disproportionate rates.

I’ll tell you a secret. Almost every working class white younger person I met in nyc was looking for a “come up” - whether that’s selling drugs, scamming people, robbing people - and they weren’t quiet about it. Many are also on drugs. But you know what? When they get pulled over they don’t get pulled out of the car, they don’t get searched. Walking down the street they aren’t stopped for no reason.

You find what your looking for. When you aren’t looking, people can - and do - get away with murder.

I’m also pretty sure it’s mostly poor people who commit crimes, minorities are over represented among the poor. Could be wrong. I’ll look it up again at some point.
