I didn't see this mentioned on here. Apparently the Illuminati in comic book world have "good intentions."

The Illuminati: How Marvel's Secret Squad Shaped History
Although they had the best of intentions, the Illuminati's actions often brought unforeseen consequences to the heroes of the Marvel Universe.
In the Marvel Universe, there have occasionally been threats that warranted preemptive action. With plenty of teams like X-Force or the Secret Avengers, there’s no shortage of clandestine super groups to take on any threat. However, few of these groups are as powerful or dangerous as the Illuminati. And considering those granted membership into this secret society, few groups have had a greater impact on the heroes of the Marvel Universe.
A secret think tank comprised of some of the Marvel Universe’s most influential heroes, the Illuminati, namely Iron Man, Mister Fantastic, Professor Xavier, Namor, Doctor Strange, and Black Bolt, first appeared as a group in the pages of New Avengers #7 by Brian Michael Bendis, Steve McNiven, and Mark Morales. Gathered to share intelligence and discuss potential threats, their history is detailed in the New Avengers: The Illuminati miniseries by Bendis, Alex Maleev, and Jim Cheung.
Choosing to keep their meetings secret from anyone outside of the team, they agreed that a small group would be easier to manage. They initially invited Black Panther who immediately declined, not trusting the group of opinionated leaders to handle every threat as a unified front.
Iron Man called the first meeting after the events of the Kree-Skrull War under the notion that the threat could’ve been prevented had the heroes gathered to share information before the Earth was used as a battleground by the two alien races. In response, they invaded the Skrull homeworld as a show of force only to be captured and studied, giving the Skrulls insight into Earth’s superhuman defenses. They eventually escaped, but they knew another invasion would be inevitable.
Later, they gathered the Infinity Gems with the goal of reforming the Infinity Gauntlet and using it to will itself out of existence. But when they failed to do so, they elected to hide the gems themselves, with their whole endeavor earning the disapproval of the Watcher.
Without Tony Stark, the Illuminati sought to confront the Beyonder after the events of Secret Wars by Jim Shooter, Mike Zeck, and Bob Layton. The Beyonder was seemingly persuaded by Black Bolt to journey to another dimension, although he ultimately returned. The Illuminati also visited Noh-Varr, Marvel Boy, in his Earth prison to sway him to defend the world like his Kree predecessor, the original Captain Marvel, did before him.
After the formation of the New Avengers, the group gathered to share intelligence on the Sentry, with nobody remembering him despite Reed’s files to the contrary and Xavier’s revelation that his mind and memories had been altered. Along with their various teams, they manage to get through to the Sentry and restore everyone’s memories, with Tony and his Avengers taking responsibility for Bob Reynolds and all his power.
The group would then—without Xavier—exile the Hulk from the Earth, causing the events of Planet Hulk by Greg Pak, Carlo Pagulayan, and Jeffrey Huet. The vote was unanimous save for Namor, who came to blows with the others, knowing that this would lead only to the Hulk’s return and their undoing.
Despite vowing never to meet again, they gathered once more during the events of Civil War by Mark Millar, Steve McNiven, and Dexter Vines, with only Iron Man and Mister Fantastic agreeing to submit to superhero registration. While Namor simply didn’t care about registration, Black Bolt and Doctor Strange disagreed with the Registration Act, and Xavier was off-world. Just as Black Panther had predicted, there was no unified front.
After Civil War, Hulk returned for his revenge against the Illuminati in World War Hulk by Greg Pak, John Romita Jr, and Klaus Janson. After capturing Black Bolt and sparing Xavier due to the events of M-Day, the now-intelligent Hulk captured Iron Man, Mister Fantastic, and Doctor Strange, outing them to the public as the ones who exiled him and destroyed his alien home before forcing them to battle each other as gladiators. It’s not until he’s defeated by the Sentry that it’s revealed that one of his allies was secretly responsible for Sakaar’s destruction.
The Illuminati met again before the events of Secret Invasion by Brian Michael Bendis, Leinil Yu, and Mark Morales, with Tony showing them the remains of the Skrull impersonating Elektra as proof that the invaders had finally returned for revenge. Their suspicions are confirmed when Black Bolt is revealed as a Skrull and attacks the other members. While they defeat him, their trust in one another is shattered, and they individually worked to beat back the Skrulls with the rest of the hero community.
Their secret is eventually revealed when Parker Robbins, a criminal known as the Hood, began hunting for the Infinity Gems to regain his lost power. Tony reunites the Illuminati in response, only to be discovered by the Avengers. This led to conflict amongst the heroes, but after the Hood is defeated, the group reforms, now counting Captain America as a member.
The group met one final time during the events of Avengers vs X-Men by Jason Aaron, Matt, Fraction, and more, when Captain America seeks to convince a Phoenix-possessed-Namor to get the rest of the Phoenix Five to stand down. While the other members of the group leave after expressing their distaste for the conflict, Namor appears only to tell Rogers that he wouldn’t back down.
The history of the Illuminati is one of well-meaning and ill-advised gambits, with the group nearly creating as many catastrophes as they sought to avert. But the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and more than once, these heroes nearly dragged down the rest of the Marvel Universe with them.

DCeased Just Got Its Own Illuminati - And It's Magical

The DC Universe has its own Illuminati but it's a magical group that is poised to cause even more death and destruction with its roguish attitude.
In the Marvel Universe, the Illuminati has helped protect, but too many times they've done more damage than good. With members such as Professor Xavier, Black Panther, Namor, Captain America, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man all making questionable decisions, it really comes down to a battle of ethics, morals, and values, with problems such as destroying alternate realities during "Secret Wars" or marooning the Hulk off-planet all biting them in the tail.
No matter their intentions, it always seems to backfires. Now, the DCU has a magical Illuminati of its own and it's poised to do just as much damage by operating in the shadows without supervision in DCeased: Dead Planet #6.
The ringleader's John Constantine, as he's been assembling relics from supernatural powerhouses across the planet in order to stop the Blighted Ones. He's got some secret plan cooking for the infected based on a vision of the future and he's been breaking rules as the sanctuary's heroes would want to stop him from sacrificing lives. It's all part and parcel of saving the day, especially as Constantine knows it'll require tough choices if he's to shut down the Anti-Life legion bearing down on them at Ivy's garden.
He's already trapped Boston Brand in Ragman's Cloak of Souls as he stole the Spear of Destiny. This took out Rama Kushna as well, while him stealing Shazam's staff got Jason Todd killed, so it's safe to say Constantine's making a mess of things -- which got him punched out by the new Batman. Still, he perseveres as he knows Trigon's coming too, but with Madame Xanadu's ball, it might be that he's harnessing way too much power than he can control.
Zatanna breaches his secret room to chide him for this, as well as the Phantom Stranger. Constantine doesn't care, however, as he already scared the Spectre off as this is the one solution to the problem, albeit it's filled with collateral damage. But as Jason Blood/Etrigan arrives, things swing in Constantine's favor as they all understand what needs to be done, and which heroes need to be ignored or taken out. Dr. Fate falls into the latter category, as he's trapped and wounded with the spear by the Phantom Stranger. At this point, they're all buying into Constantine's plan and Constantine then uses Shazam's power and all the other artifacts to access all their power.
This upgrade, along with his purity of heart, allows him to take the Helmet of Nabu for himself, as well as the amulet. Zatanna interrupts once more, angry as ever, but like he did the others, Constantine convinces her this is the way.
Kent's alive, thankfully, seemingly accepting his role on this quickly-put-together council, as they watch Constantine fly off with all these abilities to enact his mysterious plan. They're no longer questioning him, but with the rest of the Justice League in the dark, one has to wonder if blind faith in this foul-mouthed sorcerer and murderous mage really is the wisest decision.

AVENGERS ACTORS GET ILLUMINATI TATTOOS

Avengers Tattoo

It's no secret that the Illuminati uses Hollywood to further their nefarious agenda in regards to global domination and mass enslavement. Heck, Thanos himself is a representation of the Illuminati in Infinity War as his mission is to wipe out half of the universe's population for the "betterment" of mankind, which is the mission (or one of) of the Illuminati.
Now Robert Downey Jr. reveals that he and four other Marvel actors went out and got the Avengers tattoo, with Mark Ruffalo presently opting out, though Chris Evans said they need to get Ruffalo "blackout" drunk to get him one. Along with Robert Downey Jr. getting the Avengers tattoo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth also got the brand.
So here is my Illuminati interpretation of the Avengers tattoo:
The most obvious symbol is the number "6," which of course is a part of 666, the Mark of the Beast. Six Avengers, six actors (if Ruffalo ever joins) and the number "6." That's 666, which is from the book of Revelation 13:18. The number "13" is the number of being reborn, and "18" is a representation of 6+6+6 representing the degrees of various secret societies, masons, etc, where a man becomes the Perfected Man.
Avengers Tattoo

Turn the "6" upside down and it becomes "G," which stands for "Gnosis" in Freemasonry (not God):
Avengers Tattoo Illuminati

The second most obvious symbol is the pentagram, which is formed by the "A" and the "arrow." Now we all know the pentagram is associated with dastardly deeds (Baphomet, etc), so we don't have go into much detail here:

Again, turn the Avengers tattoo upside down (because it's on an arm; so which side is "up" depends on your perspective) and the pentagram becomes an All-Seeing Eye. The "6" or the "G" (gnosis, knowledge) forms the eye of the pyramid, which is the all-seeing eye of Osiris. You see the symbol in all sorts of logos ranging from America Online to the dollar bill. Makes you wonder why no one has ever filed a copyright infringement claim, eh??
Avengers Tattoo

The arrow also points both up and down (again, depending on your perspective), which is a representation of "as above so below," which is the Illuminati belief that man is really a god, man is equal to God, etc.:

Interestingly enough, The Avengers: Age Of Ultron also featured an Illuminati Easter Egg, and we also know the Marvel Comics featured the Illuminati, so if anything, maybe the actors are teasing the storyline for the MCU, which wouldn't be unheard of (and the story features the Infinity Gems).
For even more conspiracy theories regarding Hollywood, try looking up the real meaning behind 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars and Star Trek, where X-Files stole their ideas from, and Johansson even starred in a movie titled "Lucy."

This is just so blatant. They just come out and say it! They think people won't be able to tell the difference! They disguise themselves behind the superhero facade... The fact that there is a group literally called the Illuminati is really telling. They have a new captain america coming out called New World Order. That's beyond blatant and obvious. Some of us are gonna take notice of this. There's nothing superhero about the Illuminati. Majority of the films are rife with symbolism. I haven't seen the new doctor strange, but I have heard so many negative things about it how they are showing so much of the occult in it. The show Wanda vision comes to mind as it seems to be all about mind control. I could not get passed three episodes of it; they were showing sexualization towards Wanda for no reason and even had butterflies above their almost due child's crib. They even became alive and flew away. This is supposed to be for kids? Doesn't sit right. And yeah, that tattoo sure seems of the occult for certain. It's horrible, really, that these actors would get this. I used to be a fan of Hemsworth, but he just keep proving that he's connected way too much to the Illuminati. Same with the others. It's very telling that they had Thanos get rid of half the universe's population, so obviously it's about population control.
Thanks for this post!!

The generation of kids following Marvel today will not be able to distinguish evil from this propaganda. Disney owns Marvel. We will see this spread into Disney media too, if its not already there.

Oh gosh all the hand signals with Scarlet witch and doctor strange... it makes my head spin, so obvious! And unfortunately that's the truth, kids just won't understand what's happening.
It's interesting you mention Loki. It seems for the last ten years or so lots of people have become fans of him, even over Thor, which is the main hero. It's like this character has a strange hold on people. Kind of scary, when one thinks about it. And having his own Disney spin off tv show and everything? Yeah, too much. Don't trust this at all.
