Major Forum Update

Hello,
The forum was upgraded to a new version. It should now be easier and more convenient to use, especially on mobile devices. There's also a bunch of cool new little features that I'll let you discover as you use the forums. I am still tweaking the interface to make it look good and easily readable.

If you notice any bugs or issues, please post them here and I will do my best to fix them.

Go to Preferences and change Style to "FLATAWESOME".

There is a bug with the mobile version of the forums - it switches back and forth between the mobile and desktop versions. At least for me.

One issue I noticed is that when I'm typing a message and I try to select something I wrote, the highlight is invisible.

It puts a light gray highlight around the text, but it's hard to see until you notice it. Looks like there's been some aspect/margin work done as now my screen name all fits on one line...

This latest version is better I think, but yes - the light grey highlight for selecting text is nearly impossible to see - especially with my blue blockers on.

When people who've been away return and say, "The board is different than I remember", we should seriously play the "Mandela Effect" card on them and say, "No you silly goose, it's always been like this. Do you remember something different? Must be the Mandela Effect"...

Ok, didn't really wanna say anything but the emojis are a little creepy looking now. It's like we had Mogwai emojis, but somebody either got them wet or fed them after midnight and now we got Gremlin emojis...

I miss the 'confused' emoji and the 'er what' one looks more like 'Oh no" and ghostyish.

Hmmm, I'll check into it. They appeared to run fine until I posted them. Then they were static. I'll check my browser-Damn you, Netscape! Always acting up... No worries though VC-the site is bangin'. Thanks for providing...
