You have to give them a trigger warning first. Duh.

Seriously though. What the hell does a trigger warning accomplish? I'm being serious, because it makes no sense. Suppose I get triggered and I pull out a rocket launcher. Am I going to thank the asshole for warning me? No, I'm going to imagine they think my rocket launcher is some kind of joke. And push the button.

Many of you Americans take your freedom of speech laws for granted. Australia is surprisingly touchy where it comes to issues like freedom of speech and censorship.
Where is the line going to be drawn? Physical violence? Verbal agression and swearing? "My opinion is No, because my faith's religious texts speaks against homosexuality..."?

maybe they'll ban the Bible
You're allowed to use the bible, you're not permitted to offend others with it.
No reasonable person would object to banning of Westboro Church-like haters. The other extreme - precious little snowflakes who fall apart when offended - are becoming dangerously common.

Fake ‘Big Tech Critic’ Elizabeth Warren Calls for More Tech Censorship

big flip flop.
really not a big surprise.

earlier:
Curious why I think FB has too much power? Let's start with their ability to shut down a debate over whether FB has too much power. Thanks for restoring my posts. But I want a social media marketplace that isn't dominated by a single censor.#BreakUpBigTechhttps://t.co/UPS6dozOxn

and now the flop:
The attacks against@KamalaHarris are racist and ugly. We all have an obligation to speak out and say so. And it’s within the power and obligation of tech companies to stop these vile lies dead in their tracks.
— Elizabeth Warren (@ewarren)June 29, 2019

"Warren recently called on big tech to crack down on speech she disagrees with, after black Twitter user Ali Alexander questioned whether Kamala Harris, a second-generation Jamaican-Indian, could fully lay claim to the American black identity."
