Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.

The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”

That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.

Genesis 2:22-24, New International Version

The first woman came from a man...But every man thereafter came from a woman...

Celebrating God Almighty's wonderful, special creation...on International Women's Day!

Transgender pastor claims bias, sues Lutheran denomination
The Rev. Megan Rohrer, who was elected as the first openly transgender bishop of one of the largest Christian denominations in the country in May 2021, has filed a lawsuit alleging that she he was forced out from his post after enduring several months of discrimination and harassment. The denomination, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, declined comment, according to an email from spokesperson Candice Buchbinder.
Rohrer, of San Francisco, resigned in June as bishop of the ELCA's Sierra Pacific Synod amid allegations of racism after he fired the pastor of a predominantly Latino, immigrant congregation in Stanton, California, on the Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, for which the community had planned elaborate festivities.
In his lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Rohrer accuses the denomination of discriminating against him for being transgender and deliberately misgendering him and creating a “hostile work environment.” He is seeking monetary damages.
Rohrer, who now works as a senior communications specialist with a Black nondenominational church in San Francisco, said Thursday that he always felt the support of Lutherans in the pews, but not from the higher echelons of the national church. On his first day as bishop, during a video call, Rohrer said he was misgendered and ridiculed for featuring drag queens at his ordination.
Rohrer alleges in the lawsuit that he was scapegoated and “publicly shamed as a racist."
“All my life, I've been an ally for racial justice and to people from marginalized groups,” he said, adding that he chose to remain silent after his removal from office last year so the predominantly white denomination could recognize its shortcomings and pass racial justice reforms. The intent of his lawsuit is not to minimize or undermine any other marginalized group, Rohrer said.
He also accuses the denomination of retaliating against him for blowing the whistle on labor violations in the denomination when he reported to synod officials that they were categorizing employees as independent contractors to avoid paying them a salary, which is a violation of federal and California labor laws.
"Similarly, when Rohrer separately revealed the transgender harassment he had been suffering since beginning his job, the Church terminated him, and falsely accused him of ‘weaponizing’ his own identity as a trans person to ‘avoid being held accountable,’" the lawsuit states.
In August, the Rev. Elizabeth A. Eaton, the denomination's presiding bishop, issued a public apology at the 2022 Churchwide Assembly in Ohio, to members of the Iglesia Luterana Santa Maria Peregrina, describing the events that transpired as “a sharp assault on your dignity.” After the pastor’s firing, the congregation lost the denomination’s financial backing, and was forced to vacate their building and worship in the parking lot.
Rohrer resigned in June and the next day became the target of a church disciplinary process.
“I was pushed out of the church for following the directives of superiors,” he said. “And cast as a racist publicly.”
He hopes the lawsuit will force the church to follow its own policies to treat LGBTQ people fairly and with dignity within the church. Rohrer said he has never wanted to pit two marginalized groups against one another.
“The church is big enough for everyone,” he said, adding that it is important to acknowledge the “tragic history of racism and discrimination” in the church.
The lawsuit states that in addition to enduring “nearly-daily hate mail” including death threats as a result of the denomination's conduct, Rohrer, because of his firing, cannot work as a bishop of an synod or even as a pastor in the denomination.
No offense to the females here, but that aint the old "hand on heart" greeting... that individual is straight cupping their titty in religious attire, in front of a church.

More LEO's failing to do their sworn duty and protect children... showing that they are nothing more than enforcers for the Epstein class.

I stopped buying anything made by Hershey years ago for many reasons including GMO laden products. Same with Kellogg products. BTW has anyone heard of Jack Chick Publications?
Chick publications straddle the line between hard-hitting media designed to appeal to street people and others caught in the modern life... and weird titillation-themed "adult" comics.

At some recent conservative conference caled cpac a speaker named micharl knowles spoke out about how transgenderism must be eradicated. The leftists tried to twist his words to say that he was calling for genocide of trangender people, which he never said.

In his speech, Knowles said, “There can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism. It is all or nothing. If transgenderism is true, if men really can become women, then it’s true for everybody of all ages. If transgenderism is false, as it is, if men really can’t become women, as they cannot, then it’s false for everybody too. And if it’s false, then we should not indulge it. Especially since that indulgence requires taking away the rights and customs of so many people.”

“If it is false, then for the good of society and especially for the poor people who have fallen prey to this confusion, transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely. The whole, preposterous ideology at every level.”

But that is not how the screaming headline from the liberal Daily Beast covered his remarks. Their headline read, “Michael Knowles Says Transgender Community Must Be ‘Eradicated’ at CPAC-This is Genocidal.”

The Daily Beast edited their headline to, “Michael Knowles Says Transgenderism Must Be ‘Eradicated’ at CPAC”, but the outlet did not remove the “This is Genocidal” caption from the headline.

Try this alternative or better yet get European chocolate whenever possible (Polish, Swiss, German, etc).
I don't remember ever seeing Hersheys in our supermarkets here, but if I do I certainly will never buy it now.
I love decent dark chocolate as well and from what I have read in the past and on recent Tweets, Hersheys sounds more like chocolate flavoured lollies (or sweets) than real chocolate.

I assume he is rolling in the dough... I would certainly take advantage of it and via lawsuits make an example of the journalists who wrote such terrible things about him.
Oh for for the good ol' days, when journalists reported the news without inserting their opinion instead...

Related, but post was getting lengthy and website was starting to crash...

Mainstream "conservative " opinion piece claims this view is "extremist" and will lead to the downfall of conservatism. The solution? Allow only "passable" trans people (with the correct political views), while having some arbitrary division in who gets to "live their lives in the way that makes them happiest".

He is right that that's not what he said. He didn't call for the eradication of trans people but for the eradication of transgenderism. And that was bad enough.

What's the difference? Banning transgenderism would not mean killing trans folks or putting them in camps, as some have suggested; instead it would mean forcing transgender people to live as their original sex. It's the same way that if someone says "eradicate poverty," you do not interpret that to mean eradicating poor people and someone suggesting we "eradicate homosexuality" would most likely mean putting gay people like myself through conversion therapy or legally forcing us to live as straight.

...
What Knowles is saying here is that these people should not be able to live their lives in the way that makes them happiest. They should be forced back into a life that caused them dire mental health problems, just because he doesn't personally agree with them.

This is totally immoral. There is nothing in line with traditional conservative principles of limited government and individual liberty that entails trying to outlaw lifestyles different than your own or forcing your way of life onto others

It's also wildly impractical. Consider trans commentator Blaire White, for example. She is a transgender woman who passes as female.

Under Knowles's authoritarian framework, if people like White were allowed in public at all, they would be legally forced to use the men's bathroom.
So the highest value is "people living in a way that makes them happiest" completely ignoring the rights of others? Completely ignoring that women and girls have been assaulted by men in bathrooms and locker rooms?

And only "passable" aka willing to spend a lot of money in the medical industrial complex and having the "correct" genetics may apply. I guess everyone else is not entitled to live "in a way that makes them happiest".

Unfortunately with how compromised the legal system is, i would not be surprised if they threw out the case and fined him for being a "radicalized extremist "

Your comment about journalists reminded me of this. How to say "we're biased" without saying "we're biased"

No neutrality, there's a right postition and a wrong position...

I used to go to the Guardian every day to get the serious stories that Rupert Murdoch's websites always cover from a right-wing world-view/ pay to access the newspapers' stories. News.com.au isn't much better than the Daily Mail these days.
It is the other extreme of course, but at least via seeing both perspectives it is easier to feel better informed.

The Guardian was a lot better years ago when they let people comment on just about every opinion piece and some news stories. The censors started to get active once people had lost patience with all the pro-Islam/ feel pity for Muslims excuses after yet again another terrorist attack.
I expect they use the excuse that they have fewer journalists due to profit losses. However when every female journalist who didn't toe the pro-trans line (allegedly) chose to resign openly says how bad the Guardian is AND no-anti LGBT+ comments are permitted, it is easy to see why so few people want to donate to Trans propagandists.

Hmm... maybe women should identify as bio-transwomen too?
If you can't beat them, join them.

P.S. going via the comments, it looks like there are a lot of us bio-transwomen out there... how good it feels to be validated in your true identify. :D
We should all subscribe and learn how to deal with anti-transtranswomen trolls like her.

I agree this is definitely sad. Of course this is how we are always being censored.
I also sadly have to point out that Micheal Knowles is part of the controlled opposition. I used to watch him a while ago, and he's part of the daily wire. He would say similar things to Matt Walsh, who we sadly know is also controlled opposition. :(

There's a group of "like-minded" people who come from Yale...and Michael Knowles is one of them...
