What age are you? If you don’t mind me asking.I feel the same way guys
I feel seriously “obsessed” and “addicted” to BTS it scares me.
What’s also so awful is that I’m aware of everything that goes on in the music industry. Yet I still find myself being pulled to them daily and wanting to watch their stuff. The other day I was reading on the possibility of one of the members having a girlfriend and I genuinely got upset? Like that’s so messed up!
I’m trying to get myself away from them and to focus on what really matters like my relationship with God. But like you said it feels like an endless loophole.
Listen, there is absolutely no proof of any of the claims people make here about the music industry. The things that are written are all just speculation. It worries me a lot that you are so harsh on yourself and feel so bad about yourself for being interested in something that is completely natural to be interested in.
It is also completely normal to have a crush on a celebrity. There is nothing unusual about that. However, it would be good if you could understand that if is also normal for these idols to have relationships with girls or boys.Try to be happy for them that they have someone special in their lives. They work so hard for their fans, it is good to know they are happy in their personal life.
You can absolutely grow in your own relationship with God and like Kpop as well. As long as you don’t put it above your relationship with Him.If you think it takes up too much of your time, then set aside a time in your day to listen to it or watch videos. Set aside separate times to focus on God or study or whatever other things you have to do.
Everyone has to have pleasure and balance in their lives. If you listen to a song and you think the lyrics or video aren’t compatible with your religious belief, then don’t listen to that one again. You don’t have to avoid it completely.
