Well if Trump gets Kim to give up nukes, he will get a Nobel for it. And that is a HUGE IF. I read an article today which was published hours ago mentioning how a meeting with North Koreans proved them to be cheaters.
There is always the possibility that Kim is playing games. If that is the case, it's not going to end well for him.

I think hes a loose enough cannon to make it happen or to use the moment as a distraction. Either way, Obummer had multiple peace/negotiation offers from NK and not only turned them down, his regime refused to even respond. The MSM also refused to cover those olive branches. Now that Trump has made this bold announcement, the liberals & MSM are shrieking about it. What a backwards world from a few years ago, the liberals are the ones howling for conflict with Russia, NK and etc. while demanding their schizophrenic Middle East policies be implemented. War mongers on the left, war mongers on the right...... The middle path seems logical.

But Trump didn't make any announcement. This was an initiative from the North Koreans that was expressed through South Korea, asking the US to the negotiating table. It's huge news, but Trump didn't say anything.
