I haven't seen any kdramas yet but I was recommended Crash Landing on You and Twenty five-twenty one.

Are these or any kdramas worth it? Or will I get sucked into a black hole like with kpop?

Should I begin watching any kdramas?

It's okay to watch Kdramas but be very selective...Those two recommended ones are basically "feel-good" romantic comedies. They're okay...

Watching Kdramas is useful in getting insights into the SK culture and the people's psyche... You will find out about their favorite tropes and the recurring plots...which essentially "reveal" a lot of their values in life and society...

Have fun watching...just take everything with a "grain of salt..." and completely avoid the dark ones... It's also wise to read or watch reviews first...

Here are more recommendations from classic to more contemporary ones: Princess Hours (Goong), Coffee Prince, Train to Busan, Hwarang, and Mr.Queen... :)

I saw a Korean movie titled The house maid, but it was more a thriller horror, I thought porn was illegal in sk or something?

I really hope So Ji-Sub and Jo In-Sung are clean. They are great actors, unlike overrated Gong Yoo who apparently seems an Illuminati.
JI-Sub is an hip hop singer as well and though he's good his career in that field never took off. He made some music videos too. if he was part of evil groups they would have overhyped his songs and he would be a big actor-kpop star now.
and Ji-Sub has his own agency, that is also a good sign I think.
Olympic champion Kim Yu-Na set up her agency because she was abused by IMG and wants to support/protect young Korean skaters. Abuse in the figure skating world is a terrible plague, just like in the music industry.
It looks like that the young generation of Korean actors is shady, while actors who are now semi-old might have worked during an Illuminati-free era. Not sure about abuses and harrasment on actresses back than though.
