First of all I am a Muslim so I have a fairly good picture of my community and the basics of my religion
You are right, we do believe in sharia law but we were taught that we should follow the rules of our land also
I advise you to not check out google when trying to find authentic answers why not go to the Quran directly and when you get to a part that says kill the infidels I advice you to go to an Islamic scholar and ask for the context behind that in the Quran

Remember, the Quran is the inspired Word of Allah, without any errors etc according to Muslims. If you don't obey those above laws, then you don't obey Muhammad's decrees in the Quran.

A simple search, limiting to quran website quickly showed examples show men have it way better than women do, if the men actually obey the Quran and not modern society norms.
Thank goodness majority of Muslims (at least in western countries) are more moral than Muhammad.

If I was a Muslim, this would enrage me. As a human being, who has a wife and children, it enrages me to think about this happening to any family, no matter what their faith.

No country is doing to Muslims what China is doing to Uighurs, and the countries who are supposedly the most Islamophobic are the only ones saying anything about it. Yes, there is equal opportunity, both men and women are advised to take care of each other when their partner is in need of it. This is good, positive marriage etiquette.

The difference between you and I Lisa is that my book and my religion teaches me to be respectful of all religions (now you’re going to pick out a quote from the Quran and misinterpret it ) and a part of my faith is believing in Jesus. Actually Jesus is very important to the Islamic faith
Now I see you clearly dislike Islam but as a person of faith, I think in all faiths there is the idea of tolerance and kindness.

My wife loved it there: she felt so safe she said, amongst all the other perks.
I know that the other western women expats who lived there loved it there.
All the women in the families that visited us there loved it. It's very woman friendly.
It's not nearly as decadent as the west, although becoming westernised fast from what I could tell.
A colleague of mine at the company I worked with told me that he worked for a bank in Saudi Arabia before that job, and he said close to half of those enormous bank balances that those people have were in the names of women.
Westerners don't seem to have a clue.

Maybe part of the reason they forced the muslim women to take the new husbands is because of the female shortage that China still has due to the one child policy? Where many girl babies were aborted or abandoned to orphanages for a boy.

I think like in Australia it looks like Muslim migration was the straw that broke the UK camel's back. It isn't the main issue, it just is easily identified because Muslims are more obviously different in appearance and culture.

Australians have been worried about very high population increases for many years. The price of housing is dangerously high in every area that has jobs. Capital cities have the jobs, migrants want to live in capital cities too (that is where services for migrants are). It is all a massive mess.
Frankly I think when only when baby boomers start dying things will improve for everyone in western nations. That sounds terrible but they do have a disproportionate amount of the voting power and a lot of the money now.

Muslims don’t seem to understand that we can get a picture of your book through watching how muslims operate. To really sell people on islam being actually peaceful...you all could come out condemning the actions of the terroristic ones...but that never happens to which one must conclude that all muslims don’t mind the terror that the ‘few’ come up with. Which then makes a person wonder what really is being taught in that book of yours.
