What is happening to our brothers and sisters in Jerusalem?
This is a chronological list of some of the events that have been happening in Jerusalem over the past week. There are links to footage and images of the events. The events in bold are the most important.

Firstly, what area is referred to by the term Masjid al-Aqsa?

The Israelis have been attempting to forcibly evict Palestinians living in Sheikh Jarrah, a village in occupied Jerusalem for the last month.

On the 26th night of Ramadan [Friday 7 May], Israeli soldiers attacked worshippers praying taraweeh at Masjid al-Aqsa with sound bombs, tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets. Over 50 people, including children, were injured.
There were 183 cumulative injuries from Masjid al-Aqsa, Sheikh Jarrah, and Bab al Arnoud. Most injuries were to the face and chest. Three Palestinians were blinded by injuries caused by the rubber bullets.

A video summary of the events on Friday night.

Attacks on the worshippers by the Israeli occupation forces continued on the 27th night. 200+ are injured and 2 are martyred, possibly more.

Evictions in Sheikh Jarrah continue. This video shows a Palestinian man, Hamadah, being taken away by IDF soldiers as his Mother attempts to stop them.

On Sunday night, 90,000 Palestinians attend taraweeh at al-Aqsa.

Tens of thousands of Palestinians take an oath by Allah that they will protect al-Aqsa with their souls and blood. [2]

On Monday morning [11 May], Israeli forces storm Masjid al-Aqsa, throwing teargas and stun grenades at the worshipers inside the masjid. (2) Scenes from the courtyard of al-Aqsa. (3) Violent scenes from inside the Masjid. (4) More from inside the Masjid. (5) More from inside the Masjid. (6) A worshipper inside al-Aqsa films the carnage. (7) Israeli soldiers target defenceless women inside the Masjid.

300+ injuries are reported, but IDF forces prevent paramedics from accessing the area. 80+ injuries require hospitalization.

Palestinians guard al-Aqsa against a possible attack by Israeli settlers ahead of "Jerusalem day", the Israeli celebration of the establishment of Israeli control of Jerusalem in 1967. On this day, thousands of Zionists march to towards the Old City, and many roads are closed off. Ultimately, they fail to gain access to al-Aqsa.

The minarets of al-Aqsa cry out for help - "where is Salah ad-Deen?"

Despite road blocks, Palestinians from around Jerusalem march there in order to prayer at al-Aqsa.

The Palestinians call upon Pakistan and the Muslims to free Palestine and protect al-Aqsa.

Israeli forces bomb Gaza with drone missiles in response to rockets being fired at Jerusalem. The rockets fired at Jerusalem only damage a house and some property. The bombs dropped on Gaza kill 20 men and women, including 9 children (these children were playing football before they were killed). 65+ are severely injured. Videos too graphic to be shown show burning bodies, bloodied streets, lifeless children, screams and wails of horror. The bombs fall on Gaza just at iftar, just as families prepared to open their fast. All victims are civilian non-combatants. [1] [2]

As Monday night draws near, Israeli forces storm al-Aqsa again (the third time in days), and some of the trees in the courtyard of the Masjid are set alight. Jews at the wailing wall opposite the al-Aqsa compound are seen celebrating and waving their flags in response. After hours of attack, with many Palestinians besieged within the Masjid, Israeli forces withdraw from the complex.

'US-based media agency the New York Post is deliberately spreading lies stating that Hamas is killing children, while it can be seen that it is Israel committing the crime.\
They deliberately inverted the information. Its actually 20 civilians including 9 children killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza strip. It makes it easier to confuse people.

Edit: They deleted it.

Nine Powerful Benefits of Istighfar (Asking the Creator for forgiveness)

By Yūsuf Badāt
Istighfār means to seek forgiveness with God from negligence and disobedience, by the means of both the tongue and the heart.
1. Compliance to and Fulfillment of God’s Command
“Seek forgiveness with God! Certainly, God is Ever Forgiving [and] Merciful.”
(Qurʾān: 73:20)
2. Protection from Godly Punishments
“God will not punish them while they seek [God’s] forgiveness.” –
(Qurʾān: 8:33)
3. God’s Bounties and Mercy
“Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Ever-Forgiving. He will send rain to you in abundance, increase you in wealth, children, orchards and rivers.”
(Qurʾān: 71:10-12)
“Why do you not seek forgiveness with God, so that you may receive [His] mercy?”
(Qurʾān: 27:46)
4. Relief from Worry and Stress
“If anyone continually asks pardon, God will appoint for them a way out of every distress, a relief from every anxiety, and will provide for them from where they cannot imagine.”
(Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Ibn Mājah)
5. Expansion in Provisions
“Seek the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance, that He may grant you good enjoyment [of provisions].”
(Qurʾān: 11:3)
6. Likeness to Prophets and the Pious
“Adam and Eve supplicated, “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You do not forgive us or bestow Your Mercy upon us, we shall certainly be of the losers.”
(Qurʾān: 7:23)
Muḥammad (peace and blessings upon him) said, “There is [at times] some sort of shade upon my heart, and I seek forgiveness with God [at least] a hundred times a day.”
(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
7. Forgiveness and Pardon
“Whoever does evil or wrongs themselves but afterwards [sincerely] seeks God’s Forgiveness, they will find God Very Forgiving [and] Most Merciful.”
(Qurʾān: 4:110)
8. Entitlement to God’s Applaud and Glad-Tidings
“Glad tidings to those who have excessive ‘seeking forgiveness’ in the record of their deeds.”
(Ibn Mājah)
9. Entry into Paradise
“Those who have committed indecent actions or wronged themselves with evil, [thereafter] remember God and ask forgiveness for their sins; – and none can forgive sins but God – and do not knowingly persist in what [wrong] they have done. For such persons, the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens with rivers flowing underneath [in Paradise], wherein they shall reside forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers [of righteous deeds].”
(Qurʾān 3:136)

May the Creator of the heavens and earth make us of His awliyah. Ameen!
https://musliminc.com/13-signs-of-a-wali-friend-of-allah-4538

13 Signs of a Wali (Friend of Allah)

The plural of ‘Wali’ is ‘Awliya’. It is an Arabic word meaning friend. Awliya Allah, therefore, means Friends of Allah almighty. To become a friend to Allah isn’t something you just do. Allah honours certain people; some from birth and others due to their deeds. Here are some characteristics of the Awliya.
#1. They love Allah
Every person obviously wants the love of Allah, or should I say needs the love of Allah. But how many of us are willing to love Allah back? The Awliya are people who actually love Allah. Not because HE can punish them or because HE is more powerful than them. They just love him for being Allah. They always want HIM to be pleased with them. The Quran says: “And those who believe are overflowing in their love for Allah” (2:165)
#2. They remind you of Allah
The Hadith reports that that when the Prophet (pbuh) was asked about the characteristics of the Awliya, he declared, “Allah is remembered when they are seen.” (Nawawi and Ibn Majah). In order words, their presence alone can make you increase in faith.
#3. They do not grief or fear
The holy Quran says: “No doubt! Verily, the Awliya’ of Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve, Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism), and used to fear Allah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds). For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world (i.e. righteous dream seen by the person himself or shown to others), and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah, this is indeed the supreme success.” (Yunus 10:62-64)
#4. They feel fear when they hear the verses of Allah
Allah (SWT) said in the Quran Surah Al Anfal verse 2 to 4: “The believers are only those who, when Allah is mentioned, feel a fear in their hearts and when His Verses (this Qur’an) are recited unto them, they (i.e. the Verses) increase their Faith; and they put their trust in their Lord (Alone); Who perform As-Salat (prayer) and spend out of that We have provided them. It is they who are the believers in truth. For them are grades of dignity with their Lord, and Forgiveness and a generous provision (Paradise).”
#5. They constantly make Tawbah
The friends of Allah constantly repent for their sins. They do not underestimate any sin no matter how little it may seem, and they fear deeply when they feel they have done wrong.
#6. They remember Allah much
The friends of Allah ponder much and are very conscious of their creator. The holy Quran says: “Those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah – Islamic Monotheism), and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah, Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” Their hearts are attached to Allah.
#7. They do not talk much
We are accounted for every word we utter. That is why the people who are very close to Allah do not engage in talkativeness. They only talk when necessary and they speak truth. In their silence, they are remembering Allah.
#8. They do not eat much
For a person who constantly remembers Allah, death, day of resurrection, heaven and hell, food is the least of his priorities. That is because they are too afraid of their creator to have appetite, and too eager for their meeting with HIM (swt) and paradise.
#9. They love for the sake of Allah
The friends of Allah only love that which Allah loves and hate what Allah hates. Their friends are those who are pious and also fear Allah. They do not keep bad company at all. In fact, it is better for them to be alone than to keep a company that is not for Allah’s sake.
#10. They are charitable
The friends of Allah are very generous. They give and keep little for themselves but they are not extravagant.
#11. They have taqwa (piety)
The holy Quran says: “Those who have accepted faith and practice piety”. (Surah Yunus 10:63). Taqwa has many meanings; faith, consciousness of Allah. The friends of Allah are constantly thinking about the hereafter. They constantly think about death, and heaven and hell.
#12. They perform supererogatory acts of worship
The Awliya do not just perform the obligatory prayer, they go an extra mile. They feel excited to carry out good deeds because they enjoy pleasing Allah. In fact, the Awliya are well known for fasting and spending the night worshipping Allah. According to the hadith, Allah says, “My slave keeps drawing nearer to Me by means of supererogatory (nawafil) acts of worship until I love Him.”
#13. They are humble
A wali of Allah may not even know he is a Wali of Allah. He may look very poor or shabby. He wants neither praise nor flattery and he never shows off.
Although the description of the awliya is like the description of believers in general, it is important to understand that the awliya are steadfast and devoted completely to Allah. They give everything to Allah, and have absolutely no attachment or love for the worldly things. They are very eager for the meeting with Allah because of the immense love they have for HIM.
The reward for the friends of Allah Is mentioned in the holy Quran: “Verily those who say: “Our Lord is Allah,” and they remain steadfast, on them the angels will descend (at death) saying: “Fear not nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise, which you have been promised! We have been your friends in the life of this world and are so in the hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner selves desire, and therein shall you have all that you ask for” (41:30-31)
We ask Allah to grant us death as Muslims and resurrect us with the believe

May Allah makes us of those who race towards goodness! Ameen!
Ulā’ika yusāri‘ūna fil-khyrāti wahum lahā sābiqūn
It is they who hasten to every good work and these who are foremost in them.
(Sūratul Mu’minūn, No.23, Āyat 61)

"The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded us to recite a lot of Tasbeeh ("Subhan-Allaah"), Tahmeed ("Al-hamdu Lillaah") and Takbeer ("Allaahu akbar") during this time. ‘Abdullaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "There are no days greater in the sight of Allaah and in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Him than these ten days, so during this time recite a great deal of Tahleel ("La ilaaha ill-Allaah"), Takbeer and Tahmeed." (Reported by Ahmad, 7/224; Ahmad Shaakir stated that it is saheeh).
These ten days include Yawm ‘Arafaah (the Day of ‘Arafaah), on which Allaah perfected His Religion. Fasting on this day will expiate for the sins of two years. These days also include Yawm al-Nahar (the Day of Sacrifice), the greatest day of the entire year and the greatest day of Hajj, which combines acts of worship in a way unlike any other day.
These ten days include the days of sacrifice and of Hajj. "
