Hi everyone, I'm generally a lurker and this is my first thread ever.. I wonder if anyone here has any experience with setting up a succesful fundraiser on a budget? Online, bake sales, radio or social media..? In any form, really
My colleague's lil girl just got diagnosed with leukemia (leukaemia). And if that wasn't bad enough, they need to raise a tonne of money which they don't have.
They set up a GoFundMe account but there's not much going on atm ($56 so far)
I am not an event planner but I am very good with organizing any kind of event, last minute, extravagant or on budget... but this is different.
With soo much time on my hands, I can be of help if only I knew where to start.
The idea is to sell a variety of foods: donuts, cupcakes, muffins etc to help raise some funds that way.. for now.
And will not stop there, but since I don't have experience I have to research it and to do it right
to come up with some sort of event
how to get any business involved
public exposure
etc
Has anyone done anything like this?
If anyone has any suggestions, tips or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance
