Newtown is incredibly wooded and houses are very isolated and distant from each other.

In 2003, the physical building of Sandy Hook was flooded. The flood zoning changed.

That building was condemned and closed. There are no mandatory asbestos records for the building because it wasn’t in use.

The “crime scene” photos showed rooms covered in mold. Even cork boards.

Anyone who knows CT teachers knows thus us nonsense. They are some of the most empowered employees in the state. They have demands around the clock and have no problem getting their voices heard.

They would never work in those conditions. Plus, families shrunk in the area so much at that time, schools were combining.

The burough of Sandy Hook didn’t have enough kids to make renovating a condemned building on a 10 year flood zone, worth it.

That’s why Sandy Hook’s mail was going to another school.

These are very interesting contentions... thanks for providing a local perspective.
