I'm not saying they should compromise in any way in their beliefs but I just think they should unite on a pragmatic basis to do things like protect the family and promote family values. On certain things, they agree. Christianity and Islam are closer than Islam and atheism or Christianity and atheism.
I find that I stand much closer to Muslims on creation and evolution than I do with atheists, and closer to them too on the concept of an absolute external standard of morality than I do with the "many truths" of the New Age movement.

I could say the same thing, to a greater degree of Jews, as we share the OT.

This video made me so sad for most of the people interviewed...

The thing that hurts and grieves me is that I have come to care about many people who currently reject Jesus as their saviour. I know there is nothing I can do in myself to change people's course. Please don't think I am trying to do anything other than be honest about how I see it.

The answer to that only makes sense if you close one eye and squint with the other when you read the Bible.
Yes, I think of 2 Peter 3:14-18,

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Don't tell @Lady and @Daciple that :eek::confused:o_O
Why not? I would agree with that statement, clearly both uphold an idea of God, have a moral and ethical code ect ect. Atheism rejects the idea of a God and has no moral or ethical basis for their beliefs. In fact if one was honest in their ideology of Atheism they ought to support the Natural Path of Survival of the Fittest. Based on Athiestic ideology there is no reason to help with the survival of those who are the most vulnerable and the weakest, in fact they are a detriment to the survival of the human race. Just as the weak and injured lion is a liability of the pack, and thus is usually discarded or killed...

Clearly Islam and Christianity have points in common, but the differences are what sets us apart and if both parties involved in each ideology are honest they are so at odds with each other that both outlooks prove to be leading the other to Hell. Hard to reconcile these ideologies when the fundamental differences are the core of the outcome of an eternal soul...

Where do you get the idea that the Quran confirms the Good News aka the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Are you not familiar with what the Gospel of Jesus Christ is? The Quran is absolutely opposed to the Gospel as revealed in the Bible by Jesus Christ!

The Gospel is that all men are in Sin and come short of the Glory of God:

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

That because of our Sin we are not separated and at enmity with God:

Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Is 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

That because of our Sin we now all face Death, Eternal Death and Separation from God:

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death

2 Thes 1:7 .... when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, .....
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

But here is the Good News, the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! That while we were yet sinners, while we are yet enemies of God, Jesus came as the Son of God and died on the Cross, shed His Blood for our Redemption back to God!!!

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

That is the Gospel, we are Saved by Grace thru Faith in Christs redemptive work on the Cross and by His work alone!!

Now I would love to see how on earth you can state that the Quran confirms this, because it doesnt, it does the exact opposite and denies it! It even states that Jesus never died!!! How can there be a Gospel or Good News that we are reconciled back to God by Christs Blood and Death on the Cross if Christ never died?

What is the eternal hope in Christ?

1 Cor 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

Our hope is in Christ and the power of His and our coming Resurrections! If there is no death of Christ then there is no Resurrection and thus no hope, however Praise the Lord we know Christ died and shed His Blood for our Sins, and that He also Resurrected from the Grave and has given us the assurance that because He lives so shall we all who are in Him!!!

The Quran denies all of this, and the Quran specifically destroys the one path to God, the one way for anyone to be forgiven and restored back to God, which is by faith in Christ!!!

No the Quran doesnt confirm the Gospel...
hey man, going to watch the boxing fight, then i'll get back to you in detail inshallah, I have the answers for you though.

The "Great Harlot" that is described in Revelation 17, is the Vatican (Rome):
http://jahtruth.net./darth.htm

The article that was posted, has nothing to do with their plans for a one world (false) religion, though. It is simply about searching for and finding the actual truth from God/Allah Himself (rather than thinking we need men to explain it to us), as we are told to do throughout the Scriptures.

This is the description of the "Great Harlot" (the Vatican - Rome) found in Revelation:

Revelation 17
17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come here; I will show unto thee the Judgment of the great "Whore" that sitteth upon many "waters":
17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4 And the woman was arrayed in PURPLE (bishops) and SCARLET (cardinals) colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
17:5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY (2 Thess. 2:7), BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS (her daughters) AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of her saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
17:7 And the angel said unto me, Why didst thou marvel? (Stop it!) I will tell thee the MYSTERY of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the Bottomless Pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were NOT written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
17:9 And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth (Rome).
Read the text carefully...
17:8 The beast that thou sawest was...Past tense......Rome is...Present tense..

The angel is describing Johns vision in Johns time..
To drive home the point the angel repeats it another way...

and is not; ....again past tense......Rome is...Present tense..

and shall ascend out of the Bottomless Pit,...

This is simply what the text says...

Great please make sure to quote the Quran saying Jesus is the Son of God, who died on the Cross and through His Blood and and His Work on the Cross by Grace thru Faith and only by Him and His Blood we are reconcilled back to God. And that all others who havent believed on Christ as the Gospel states are going to Hell. Would love to see where in the Quran it states these things, but I will wait for you to present your verses before I share the verses from the Quran that clearly say Jesus didnt die, that God has no Son, that there is no such thing as the Substitutionary Atonement in Islam...

He was referring to the vatican/rome as the whore of babylon (not the same as the beast, but im not sure what point you were making, but still had to point this out). I don't agree with that since i believe the jewish bankers, media moguls etc are the whore of babylon.
I believe the vatican is connect with rome (duh) as in the end times Beast system. I believe the vatican has more power than the jews ie that the jews were merely puppets allowed to amass all this power to accomplish what the real luciferians are trying to accomplish. Establishing thir own goals by letting the jews do the dirty work. Do you get this? the vatican is pimping the jews.

About the bit you quoted....
The beast that once was, but was no longer at the time of this vision.......but would come again
was a reference to the republican style of government.. in the context we're talking about a future world government.

The 4th beast in Daniel was obviously Rome ie the legs of iron..the last bit of the same system, the feet of iron and clay..the beast referred to in Revelation.

Rome was transferred from a republic to an empire
hence the beast that once was, now is not but would come again.

No. Every Muslim explanation of how we have Christ's message wrong is predicated on your contention that the Bible has been completely corrupted. Since there is no evidence of this in the text or in history, you are the ones who have closed hearts.
meh.

Doesn't the Quran deny the deity of Christ, his crucifixion and resurrection? You can't possibly follow the Bible and the Quran.
Once correctly interpreted and understood, the Bible and Qur'an agree, so actually you can.
In case you wish to compare any passages, I would suggest having a look at the King of kings' Bible, which contains both the Bible and Qur'an/Koran - fully cross referenced and readable at:
http://jahtruth.net/kofk-free
The perceived differences, have been due to misinterpretation and misunderstanding.

Yes, the Quran presents another gospel. Warning for doing so is found in Gal. 1:8-9.
Actually, it does not.
The so-called "trinity doctrine" is completely unbiblical and it is a false doctrine that was invented by the church. If you read carefully, everything Jesus said in the Gospels, and put it all together, then you come to the undeniable conclusion that the trinity doctrine is completely false.

How so?

In your own words, please. Citations are good, but not a wall of text.

NWO unity will not be forced, people will accept it willingly...
And why do we need it again? unity?
Possibly. If they scare everyone enough, people may want to accept it, but it will be false. They have a socialist dictatorship planned, according to some people who have spoken out over the years.

Experiences from previous versions of this forum, nevermind..
Yeah truth...what is it? Pointing out past mistakes and flaws mainstream religions has, doesn't reveal truth in any way...
Perhaps not directly, but by pointing out errors, they become exposed and people become awakened to their existence, which then will cause at least some of them, to seek for the truth anew.

King of kings' Bible,
John 8:22 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed him, If ye continue in my Word, [then] are ye my disciples indeed;
8:23 And ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.

Looks better now?
Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
There is more to that, if you read it in context:

Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a "Sword" (Rev. 1:16).
10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
10:36 And a man's foes [SHALL BE] they of his own household.

The following explanation is contained in the book "The Way home or face The Fire", which says:

8:73 Jesus explained that mothers, and fathers, are not really your mother and father, but that the bodies, that they are using, made the body that you are using, but they did NOT make your soul, any more than their parents’ bodies made their souls (Matt. 12:47-50 & John 6:42). That does NOT mean that you should disown them, or treat them any differently.
8:74 He also explained that, when you start to do God’s Will, “a man’s enemies WILL BE the people of his own household” (love your enemies into changing), because the devil will use them and human-animal emotion, to try to pull you back from doing God’s Will (Matt. 10:34-37 & Luke 12:51-53 &14:26, 27, 33). Satan will use the members of your family, because they are the nearest to you, and are the people you appreciate most, and of whom you normally take the most notice, and whose advice you usually cherish and respect (Micah 7:6).
8:75 Satan will use them, without their knowing or understanding what they are doing, so, you can not blame them, directly, for their words or actions. They will try to advise you, whilst genuinely believing, that they have your best interests, at heart. However, they will be advising you, from a MATERIAL and human point of view, NOT a spiritual point of view, because they do not KNOW about spiritual-matters and God’s magic. They do not KNOW that God is REAL, and they do not know, what you will have already found out, from God Himself, since you started to talk to Him DIRECTLY and properly, and started doing His Will for you.
8:76 DON’T get upset; be firm, and strive to convince them that you are right. Don’t let Satan trick you into becoming angry, and making the situation worse; and don’t run away. Explain to them calmly and lovingly, the magic of DIRECT communication with God HIMSELF, and love them into seeing your point of view, and strive to get them to talk to God, DIRECTLY, themselves. If you don’t, they are all going to die on the Last-Day, and you don’t want that to happen to people you love. Do you?
