How to divest from the system

I meant start your own business. Not sure how that is considered sketchy.
I think i've used the wrong word here. I meant to say that this is a difficult situation because even when you want to start your own business the current system will undoubtly mess up with it somehow, specially when it is a internet service.

Hi,
We are not going to change it. Not by voting at least. We are not going to destroy it. Atleast not by physically fighting it. We have guns, they have tanks. So what then? Divest and boycott. Enough people divest and boycott and the system destroys itself.
I dont get it. The system is already changing. And you, as an American, already had the best system in place, humanity could have come up with (we may fight about the question, when and where things went wrong).

I believe, that chaos is inherently following change. People adjust to the rules and culture they grow up with. If you change that, in a matter of a few year, these people dont (instinctively) know whats right and whats wrong. They lose trust in the institutions, whose rules make no sense anymore.

The last few generations in the western world divested from their system and beliefs. And NOW you ask, how we could change that? What we see is the fight over the new rules to be applied. Some fight for the "old", some for the "new". What do you expect to happen, when things fall apart?

As far as I know game theory, everybody would win(or, at least, nobody would have to lose everything), if we all agree and take a step back from wanting to achieve all our goals. If we dont, our outcome may be greater (or zero), to the loss (or benefit) of our counterparts.

In reality, there is literally no solution to this dilemma. If the US fails (and some would argue it already has some time ago), there may be no hope for a "diverse" humanity to live (freely) in peace. The love of money, and the will to win at the cost of someone else, will corrupt every system humanity can think of.

As people, we are subject to our rulers. If they are lawful (and in the short run, it may be irrelevant, if these rules are universally valid) we can get along just fine. But every disturbance to that, will lead to a fight about the "right" rules to be applied. People will get blamed, to stand in the way of change, or to cling to old rules, or to subvert the values of our community.

"If a ruler believes in lies, all his subjects become godless" (somewhere in the proverbs).

Kind regards,

Yeah, the internet is a mess these days. I'm pretty sure the federal government has an anti-trust case going against Google as we speak. Apple and Facebook are going at it too. Twitter and Reddit are literal troll havens. Where they protect all the anonymous trolls and then dox anyone brave or stupid enough to be known.

As far as a new business on the internet, there are still opportunities. When you have brand recognition, you can do whatever you want. The problem is getting to that point requires you to follow a strict formula for years. You have to play nice with all the internet gatekeepers, and it's boring as hell. Plus, sometimes playing nice isn't enough, and you have to entertain some spoken or unspoken deal.

Ultimately it's possible to make it without selling your soul. Try to think of it like taking money back for the souls they took. Or at least do something that heals the souls of the world.
Pretty sure any anti-trust case against google (or any of the other government data-mining operations posing as private corporations) would be a well-scripted drama for public amusement, because the government isn't about to do anything substantive to hamstring the effectiveness of google, fb, twitter, etc. in achieving their designated purpose.

Yeah it is a difficult situation. But there’s literally nothing stopping someone from taking a skill they possess and listing themselves to freelance in any number of places. I don’t care too much about the internet tbh, I come here but if it was shut down tomorrow my life would go on.. the internet is not the whole world. Divesting from the system doesn’t necessarily mean creating your own version of every part of the system - it also means stepping back from the parts of the system which are corrupted beyond repair and doing something else instead. Books, for example, are an excellent replacement for the internet as is in person social interaction.

A system which prioritizes and favors the needs of one group of people above everyone else is not “the best system” by any stretch of the imagination. We had an ILLUSION of the best system but as soon as you scratched beneath the shiny gilded surface all that laid below was shit. It’s been like this a very long time - if not always atleast on some level. I could not care less about corrupt laws made by corrupt politicians and kowtowing to a corrupt system who’s sole goal is to keep me complacent for the benefit of others who don’t deserve it cuz their evil. Your honestly going to sit here and say america is great? Or was great? Based on what? No government is great. Some are just better at marketing.

Wow.. And you wonder why things get worse?

America was great, because it originally has not been in authority for anyones "needs". If you enable the government to care for the fate of every citizen, you've created a f-king Nanny-state, whose bureaucrats overbid themselves in the care of "groups".

I didn't say the US was perfect. But it was most successful in enabling people to do, what you seem to long for in your initial post. And now you guys cant stop demanding the government (of which you know it is corrupt) to take care of every group's well being? Well.. bad news, you have got what you asked for.

Both of your posts on this thread have been entirely irrelevant to the thread - this post just confirmed my hunch about the first one. The United States enables nothing but protection of elite wealthy people by keeping poor people complacent with the marketing LIE that anyone could do it and that there was free opportunity. You yourself are perpetuating yet ANOTHER LIE with your bullshit about a nanny state that provides for poor people’s needs being problematic cuz we don’t do that - we very much do “do that” the recipients are just the wealthy elite and not the people. Look at where most of our expenditures go - handouts to the already wealthy. Socialism for the rich, rugged capitalism for everyone else.

wanting to seperate myself from that corrupt bullshit isn’t the problem and isn’t why the worlds screwed up, sorry. And for the record there is nothing I “yearn for” that I am not already doing or actively taking steps to do in the near future. I own my own business, I pay my employees well, my son is in virtual school and my daughter isn’t going to daycare or preschool or anything - I teach her and I care for her. Last box to check is enough land to be my own island and I’m actively pursuing that goal daily. I want zero part of their nonsense - I will pay my taxes and abide by the laws but that is it and the only reason for that is to avoid consequences because they have tanks after all, right?

what exactly do you think you will accomplish by continuing to play their game? What exactly do you think serving evil will get you in the afterlife?

or are you going to sit here and tell me that everything on this site is BS so you see no reason to “fight back” in any form? The great reset, corona virus, big brother surveillance, overzealous law enforcement, loss of personal freedoms and rights, chemicals in our food, chemicals in our air and water, a school system set up to create robots and criminals.. your good with all that?

Fair enough. People don't seem to care, though. How they can't sense a team of clowns from google, or the phone company or the cops going through all their digital property boggles my mind. Maybe they think it only happens to the other guy. So it's like out of sight out of mind.

Then I have to apologize to you. I read your post as yet another "lets get rid of capitalism"-thread. There are still an awful lot of words, that I have to look up...

But as an European, there is still a lot America has to offer, for what we envy you. There is no way to truly divest from that system in Europe. Except from emigrating. And if things are as bad as we suspect, than anything you own, will just serve as pressure point.

what exactly do you think you will accomplish by continuing to play their game? What exactly do you think serving evil will get you in the afterlife?
Well.. I hope that owing your own business and some land, isnt the only way, to stop serving evil.. And in my honest opinion, money is not the only (or even most precious thing) they want. I truly believe, hat this chaos is meant to destroy everyone's soul, because Satan hates humanity for what God has denied him and promised his children. A seat in the reigns of heaven.

Fighting evil means to love god, love thy neighbor like yourself, spread the gospel and be forgiving. This might sound like a cliché or something, but I mean it. I already live as some kind of visitor and I am certain, that this world is ultimately failing. The Enemy is not Capitalism. Evil corrupts everything.

I guess your plan to divest has some potential. At least for the people you care about. But the odds are not in your favor. I dont believe that enough people will ever be able or willing to follow your example. The best bet is to wait this one out. But the world is not going back, and nobody knows what tomorrow will look like.

And as long as we are not put into gulags, literal fighting would do more harm than good. We've seen that at the capitol-riot and the year before. As a side-note, in Germany was a similar incident... like a tiny little riot. A mob of some hundred people have been stopped by three unarmed policemen before the Reichstag. They've been told, Trump was nearby and just went for it.
In a sense, Trump was accountable for these riots. But I dont believe they had bad intentions (neither the people at the capitol). Maybe delusional, but, after all, they wanted to stop evil. I dont understand, why they get just hate, even from people who believe some of what they do.
It is literally the same problem, which is described by the game theory. Instead of demanding relentlessly our own rules to be applied, we should demand for the existing rules to be followed. Which, despite all the flaws in the system, are already good enough.

Kind regards,
threepwood

Last year, in Seattle, some anti-capitalist wackos already tried that. You missed your chance lol
Not what I was talking about at all. Good try though.

please explain to me how going off grid, being self employed, homeschooling your children and shopping small and local are the same thing as an autonomous zone taken by force and still beholden to the same system they claimed to be against... go ahead, explain. Also explain why any of the above would be problematic for anyone who agrees the system is corrupt.

you realize this corrupt system everyone on this site talks about is entirely dependent on us continuing to provide them OUR labor and then recirculating OUR money back into the system? Without either one of those things or preferably both they have ZERO power.

I specifically stated you have to follow their rules, I specifically stated that fighting physically was pointless and I suggested people start their own businesses or freelance - which is clearly not anti capitalist in the least so AGAIN I do not understand your response whatsoever.

you guys are worried about being blacklisted for your religion, your political beliefs? Isn’t that what you’ve been saying. I have a little bit of experience being blacklisted out of the system for entirely different reasons. These are the things WE have already don’t to survive - and thrive - despite that. There are ways. And you are right, my own actions won’t take the system down if enough people did the same it might. But it doesn’t matter for me cuz if no one else does I’m still surviving as much outside it as is possible and its lovely

@justjess is 100% right.

I'm going to start unplugging once the weather breaks in Ohio. I've mostly unplugged from social media but I guess I'm worried about leaving people behind. To me, totally unplugging would be like saying I don't care if those people were dead. And that would be awful and embarrassing to know and feel about myself.

Granted not caring if people are dead is like everyday life for people, and that's all the more reason to getaway. It still feels like a cop-out, though. Like why squander that extra power from being online, and being able to check on people. It's quicker than mysticism, anyway.

Pick up a phone and call them. If they aren’t worth the effort a phone call takes then it doesn’t matter if your “unplugged” from them or not. I have been using social media strictly for business for months now and really have seen no negatives... I still keep in touch with the people I actually care about. I scroll through once in a while to see what people are posting but when you realize their posts are all posturing it gets boring. I love seeing pictures of the people I care about since I don’t see them often bc we don’t live close by to anyone but I love seeing them in person more. Sometimes I think social media relationships give us a crutch to avoid actual relationships.. it isn’t healthy.

For anyone interested in dissociation from the system please look into 'live life claims'. I started a thread with this titel.

In short, the only valid law in the whole world is maritime law. You don't need to obey any other law. This is a fact and will work in any court. We actually live in a mental matrix where we limit ourselves to false laws. If you live in Europe there is currently a movement in the Netherlands where a man is legally creating his own country.

Anyhow this is in my opinion the best way out of the system, just recognize it for what it really is, a scam. The justice system can not touch you as long as you dont recognize its authority. Below you can find in depth lectures from a lawyer using only maritime law and winning.

There are millions of sovereign citizens sitting in prison today who prove your theory wrong

What if my wires are tapped?

I love checking in on the fam, but mine is kind of a drag. Also, I think it's true social media relationships can be like a crutch. Like only the most mature people can make that work.
