i usually alternate between magnesium citrate and magnesium taurate tablets each day.I’m loving this book on the benefits of magnesium right now.
It’s called. Magnesium: reversing disease by dr. Levy.
I use the bands mostly for balance and tension at the top. I consider it a more stable tsunami bar. I prefer bands on bench and chains on squat. With deadlifts I’ll only tweak the lifts off a box or something or do rack pulls.I don't recommend taking magnesium from non-dietary sources unless you are in need, as they are chemicals/unnatural. Take it from food.
@Maes17
If you want pure strength gains, go for heavy chains. Bands are mainly for balance.
why? i think most people are deficient.I don't recommend taking magnesium from non-dietary sources unless you are in need, as they are chemicals/unnatural. Take it from food.
I think magnesium can mess with the thyroid. I know kale and spinach in excess is bad for people with sketchy thyroids.why? i think most people are deficient.
As I said, they are products usually containing different chemicals and I think taking something in excess without the other nutrients, shocks the body. And did you know that minerals compete with each other for absorption? So you end up messing up your system.why? i think most people are deficient.
i think its less about what you eat, tidal, and more about your sunny, positive outlook on life thats allowing you to thrive. As for food, I've simply eaten anything and everything that my stomach tells me it wants (including meat and so-called "junk food") and at age 72 I'm as fit and healthy as I ever was, in fact I've just shrugged off a mild attack of Covid-19, germs and viruses should know better than to try to mess with us of the Rock Legend generation..
Yeah no smokes or alcohol for this chap eitherTopic title- How Do You Stay Healthy?
-------------------------------------------------------------
It's surely not rocket science, just don't poison your body with booze and smoking, and don't kill your braincells with drugs, I've never touched any of all that myself.

PS- My hard-drinking hard-smoklng brother-in-law used to half-jokingly say to me- "Huh, you're not a man if you don't drink and smoke!"
He died of cancer a few years ago in his mid-60's but I'm still around..

Find what foods work for you. Every one responds different. I eat what many consider a “bad” diet. I rarely get sick. I try not to stress too much as well. With the baby coming up I had nervous breakdown a couple weeks ago. I’m a little better now and getting some confidence backFood too plays a big part in health..
That is a good approach. Although I mentioned that I'm following the carnivore diet, sometimes I do crave for some tasty food and eat small amount of honey. Following a diet seems to always end up with some failure. My approach has always been to eat what my stomach tells me it wants, no matter what it is.
For example right now I'm getting a craving for a jam sandwich..
it would be reasonable to listen to ones body after one kicks the sugar addiction. My approach has always been to eat what my stomach tells me it wants, no matter what it is.

Let the man eat fer christ sakes. You damn food nazi. I’m gonna go feast on the most artificially processed junk I can think of in your honor.it would be reasonable to listen to ones body after one kicks the sugar addiction.
craving jam (sugar) on bread (white sugar) tells me you havent done that.
